Well, I did want to see The Jane Kim exhibit. It was small, interactive and interesting. But the staff hovering was a bit much. If we have to wear masks and socially distance (per signage) they should do the same. At $15 each ticket not exactly a bargain to spend an hour. If you go, stop here first, so if you are disappointed you can be cheered up by the very large, very FREE ocean and flora and birds! I saw a Peta sticker on a car outside. I mention this because in the CA exhibit was a mission on whalebone--ouch. I thought the flora fauna exhibit was very dull. Penelope Gottlieb's piece puzzling. To me showcasing Audubon as reference misses the mark. However, the pottery with butterfly the best piece in that exhibit. So my adventure ended very sadly because Colton Hall too was closed. It is across the street.

This place is a GEM! We have really enjoyed every visit and now we are members. Everything they have in their current exhibits is wonderful, fascinating, and inspirational. I keep thinking back on what I saw.

Went here a few days after they opened to the public and had such a wonderful experience with the family. Practicing covid protocol so we practically had the museum to ourselves since the groups are so small. Employees are very warm and knowledgeable, and there is surprisingly a lot to see here for all ages. They allotted 45 minutes and I agree that was just enough time for us to enjoy all the displays at a leisurely pace. Street parking only from what I saw but it wasn’t too difficult to find .

Fantastic little museum. I walked out in love with two artists I haven't heard of. Staff was friendly and informative.

The museum was great overall. But I must say in the process of doing my civic duty and picking up some recyclable goods outside some hoodlums had left I was yelled at by the curator. Turns out what I was cleaning up was intended to be art. Either modern art has become an inside joke or maybe the "curator" was just one of the many homeless / schizophrenic population that hangs out here .

This was such a fun little museum. The pictures are absolutely amazing (some very talented people showcased here) and the ambiance is great.

Lovely little museum with ever-changing exhibitions of more-modern-era art forms, mostly from California artists, and mostly paintings. The front room functions as a gallery for regional artists’ pieces.

A wonderful stop in Monterray. The Dali exhibit was wonderful and they had a music/ paint night in the lobby. Lots of different events hosted at this place. My favorite spot to wonder about while soaking up the selection of art. Will return again

A changing, growing museum that’s only getting better. The exhibits are always a surprise for the hungry mind and show the work and effort behind them.
