A very beautiful park and beach with parking that costs of $1.50 an hour however there are clean restrooms. easy access to beach for snorkeling, diving, suntans or kayaks. great for kids. a rather protected beach from waves.

Great play to relax and spend the day. There are bathrooms to the right and left of the beach no more than 3 minutes away. It has a shower to rinse off or just clean your feet. One of the bathrooms has a coin operated shower to wash($1.25 for a 7min shower). Waves are a bit strong, keep an eye on your kids and adults to. Water is a bit cold but you get used it as you get completely wet. There a lots of scuba divers. People fish on the boardwalk. You gotta pay for parking though.

My vehicle stop by breakwater cove,$1.5 per hour(max $10 per day). That is a good location. We walk around 10 min. to fishermen wharf. And we also walk around 15 min. to cannery street. You can enjoy the sun and beautiful ocean view at same time.

We come here every time we are in the area. It is always very clean and well kept. The grandkids love the tidal pools and we are careful not to disturb anything.

The parking lot is nightmare even for weekend I'm used to Boston parking so that's impressive. Easy beach access dog friendly seals nearby

I love this quiet little beach. A perfect place to sit and enjoy the sights of the bay, or take your little ones to play in the water since the waves are calmer here. The scuba divers use this beach as an access point and you can watch them when they surface in the kelp beds. There's also a large green grassy area to have a picnic, play with your dog or chase your kiddos.

Went on a weekday so it wasn’t as crowded. About 62 degree and not windy so it was perfect weather to just relax in the sand. Has station to wash off after a dip in the ocean and even clean rest room. Overall soft sand and clean beach.

Beautiful smaller beach. Plenty of parking & restrooms. The restrooms on the pier have showers. The showers in the restrooms require quarters but there's also a shower on the side of the building that is free (although probably cold 🥶😄). At low tide you can explore the rocks & see mussels and sea anemones, collect seashells & play with the waves. It was windy in mid June but the water was surprisingly not as cold as expected. There is also a nice grassy lawn above the beach ⛱ to sit and admire the view.

Pleasant park that can bring some unexpected visitors. It's a great place to catch a breeze, watch boats, observe divers practicing and be entertained by the wildlife. The people are friendly and its within great proximity to the Monterey Bay Aquarium. Bring a lunch if you're not into seafood.

I always bring my kids here. Love thIs beach. The last time we were here there was a bum sleeping on the beach surrounded by garbage so that was pretty uncomfortable 🥵.

Nice and quiet beach and park in Monterey. It's a pleasant stroll from 'downtown' Monterey to this beach park. Cool, uncluttered place to chill out with family. I did notice public facilities there. No commercial activity around keeps the area rather clean.

Nice little beach. Not too crowded. Plenty of people doing scuba diving from the beach and what I think is kelp just off the shore.

Great little beach sandwiched between Monterrey's Fisherman's Wharf and Canner Row. The water is clear, calm and good for scuba training and snorkeling. Saw kids in the water which you don't see that often since the other beaches nesrby have strong waves.

Beach is beautiful, but a bit small. Dog friendly but due to the smaller beach area, we opted to go to Del Monte Beach. That said, don't miss walking out on the pier to see all the sea lions basking in the sun. Worth it!

Went on a Saturday afternoon. Simply beautiful. Took some great pics. The ocean smell was only slight. The birds were friendly, not too invasive, and the crowd was friendly, making room for us to sit and enjoy.

👍👍 Something Different!! Perfect Family exercise!! You have 3 choices of water paddling boat of either a Yellow Duck, White Swan, and a regular boat. Each boat seats a Maximum of 4 people. The regular boat is alot easier to paddle and manuever compared to the bigger ones. The water is stagnant so I don...
