I had a 89th birthday for my mom that I wanted Golden Pot to cater. They make all her favorite Chinese dishes. They are usually closed on Mondays. They offered to come in and cook for my event. They even offered to deliver and I live in Celina. I told them that was not necessary. They are the true meaning of a family friendly and family owned restaurant. Don’t pass this gem olio a restaurant up. Everything was amazing and fresh.

Food was very tasty. Portions are good and food tasted fresh. On par with other Chinese food places in the area with regards to cost. Had the General Tso’s chicken and it wasn’t heavily breaded like other places. It had good ratio of chicken to breading. Chicken Lo Mein had good amount of chicken would have liked a little more veggies but overall it was delicious. Will ask next time if they have a veggie fried rice, our meal came with plain fried rice - soft and cooked right. Wonton soup was delicious as well! Will be my new spot for Chinese

The food is seriously delicious, this place should be more famous. I always come back here.

Golden Pot has potential, but I wasn't impressed. I had the Pork Fried Rice which was pretty good. But I didn't care for it being served on a thin paper plate. The meal also rapidly cooled on the paper plate. Fountain drinks aren't offered. A small selection of 16 Oz. bottled sodas. A 20 Oz. bottle would have been better. Also more selections than Diet Coke. An option of Coke Zero or Diet Dr Pepper would be favorable. The meal was fine, but I disliked the thin paper plates as dinner ware. The dining room was nice, but paper plates are for the back yard bbq.

I ordered through Uber and they just passed my information around instead of helping me. I ordered Moo Shu Pork at Golden Pot and in my Moo Shu Pork I ended up chewing a chicken feather which made me vomit 🤢 even just thinking about it makes me want to vomit again. Not sure why it was in my meal, disgusting.

Small store front place - everyone was standing around when I entered, but they were very nice. I was the only one actually dining in. I asked if they did more delivery service and was told yes, but only two people came in for pick-up while I was there. The menu is okay - typical. The portion was good, but I wasn't asked a heat level for Mongolian beef - it was ok. They use way too much onion though - the dish could have used more meat to make it worth what I paid. Overall - I would return if I was in a pinch for something to eat but I wouldn't make it my top spot.

Ordered Veg Lo Mein with Tofu and Chicken Lo Mein for takeout. Food was ready on time for pick up! Lo mein was delicious and this was the hands down best lo mein I have ever had. I am going back for this again.

We've been going here for years (It's the Bent Tree, sauce on side, no onions crew!). The rating on Google is so misleading - This place literally is amazing. They will help out with all sorts of odd requests, so tip heavy, please. Add to good food, they delivery within a stupid fast time frame and we are always amazed at just how nice everyone is to us. Thanks for all your hard work and we hope everyone rolls in here soon. Pictured is General Tso.
