This was my first visit to this 5 star Gite. If you want relaxation, peace an quiet and quality accommodation you have come to the right place. Pam and Tom are fantastic hosts. On a side note, on a clear night its a must for star gazers.

What a superb gîte! We couldn’t have asked for any more; superb welcome, well thought out space with everything you could possibly need in a stunning part of the world. Our week at Esprit Charentais was simply world class. Pam & Tom were perfect hosts who clearly care about the tiniest details. The Bothy was perfect for our family of 4 - loads of space, air conditioned bedrooms, a fully equipped kitchen (they have literally thought of everything you might need and then some) and a great bathroom. Outside, the gardens are lovely and the pool was a welcome relief from the Charentais heat. You really feel that you’re part of the surrounding countryside - it’s a real getaway from the hustle and bustle of life. Pam & Tom were really helpful, recommending local places to visit and always having time for a chat, whilst achieving the perfect balance of never being intrusive. Fabulous stay. The accommodation was gorgeous and had everything including good Wi-Fi and the hosts Pamela & Tom were amazing and available if you needed anything. We will be recommending to our family & friends and are already planning our next visit. 🙏😊
