I
am
well
travelled
and
have
stayed
in
several
5-star
hotels
globally
and
this
hotel
does
not
deserve
5
stars,
I
would
give
it
3,
at
its
best.
The
rooms
are
fairly
simple,
small
and
bland.
We
booked
a
twin
room
and
the
individual
beds
were
tiny,
the
mattresses
just
simple,
not
of
5-star
quality.
Limited
amenities
in
the
room,
not
even
a
bottle
of
water.
I
asked
at
the
bar
for
a
water
fountain
to
refill
my
reusable
bottle
and
they
told
me
there
wasn’t
one
in
the
hotel,
on
the
last
day
I
found
one
at
the
gym…
breakfast
choices
were
limited,
again
not
what
is
expected
of
a
5-star
hotel.
Dinner
service
was
slow
and
sadly
only
offered
one
vegan
option.
The
worst
part
was
being
told
at
check
in
we
had
to
pay
extra
for
pretty
much
EVERYTHING.
How
is
this
5-star
service?
Hotel
beds
at
the
beach
come
at
a
cost
and
the
beach
itself
is
far
from
the
hotel,
requires
internal
shuttle
which
only
works
for
limited
hours.
Infinity
pool
beds
also
come
at
a
cost,
so
does
the
spa
and
the
gym
classes.
But
the
most
disappointing
part
was
the
overall
service
and
care
given
to
guests.
The
coffee
station
and
table
in
our
room
was
not
cleaned
after
the
first
night,
we
came
back
to
the
room
to
enjoy
a
nice
coffee
before
heading
to
dinner
to
find
the
coffee
station
as
we
left
it
in
the
morning,
I
asked
reception
to
have
it
cleaned,
left
the
room
and
came
back
later,
nothing
was
done.
I
had
to
follow
up
again…
then
came
my
worst
nightmare
-
I
woke
up
at
3am
because
the
AC
was
not
working
properly,
tried
to
call
reception
but
the
phone
wasn’t
working
either!
Had
to
walk
down
to
reception
to
be
told
I
could
move
to
another
room,
in
another
tower…
my
mum
who
was
staying
with
me,
was
sleeping
and
I
didn’t
want
to
wake
her
up,
so
we
stayed
in
the
room.
Next
day
I
informed
reception
again…
hoping
they
had
already
been
informed
by
the
previous
receptionist
but
sadly
no
one
really
followed
up.
Reception
sent
an
engineer
to
the
room
and
told
me
everything
was
working
fine
but
it
wasn’t,
I
spent
another
night
without
being
able
to
sleep
properly…
I
am
in
early
pregnancy
weeks
and
did
not
feel
like
fighting
anyone
for
a
room
or
anything
really,
so
I
decided
to
cut
my
stay
and
leave
the
hotel
early.
The
hotel
asked
me
to
change
the
booking
with
booking.com
where
I
initially
made
the
reservation,
they
confirmed
the
charge
would
be
for
2
nights
only,
to
my
surprise
when
I
tried
to
check
out,
I
was
being
charged
an
extra
night
as
penalty!
after
all
I
went
through…
at
check
out
the
Guest
Service
Manager
came
to
talk
to
me
to
apologise,
I
wonder
where
she
was
on
the
first
and
second
day?
There’s
many
hotels
on
the
Costa
Del
Sol.
Don’t
waste
your
time
or
money
visiting
this
one.
