The smallest portion of fries I've ever got in a restaurant! 😂 I ordered the falafel with mango. It was a good combination of flavours and I liked it. They could be a bit more generous with their portions but overall it was good. The waiter was kind and likeable.

We just randomly found this place on Google maps because of the high rating and also we wanted to eat something healthier with vegetables or salad. The result was just mind-blowing. The food tasted so good, especially the passion fruit and mango sauce within the Portuguese wrap. The home made fries with paprika were also tasty. The waiter was lovely and helpful. The value for money was also great. We also enjoyed the fact there was a dish of the day menu, with freshly prepared ingredients and also a surprise chef recommendation, which we also took and thoroughly enjoyed. The drinks selection was also great, we took the fresh juices (strawberry apple mint in the picture). I can totally recommend it if you wanna eat vegetarian or vegan food, get something great for your money or just wanna try something lovely and new.

So far I've eaten several times here and the food is always exceptionally good. The desserts are also good. I had a cake from here (orange & nectarine with frosting) and it was one of the best cakes I ever had. Super yummy! They also make cakes by order & you can ask for meals to go. I ordered a red fruits cake (vegan of course) for a special occasion and it was absolutely delicious. The place is not 100% Vegan but staff are knowledgeable on Veganism & things on the menu are generally Vegan (just ask). The restaurant is a bit hidden away but it's very cozy.

We were very late as we did not notice that the restaurant was only open until 18:30. We arrived shortly before 18:00 and the waitress told us that the kitchen is only open for two more minutes but hurried to give us a menu that we still get something to eat. We ordered the Burger and the wrap Madeiran and some Falafel as sides. Everything was very tasty and the food was very fast and the waiters appreciated our stay and were very patient even though it was the end of their shift. Overall, a great place, don't miss out on it, first vegan place we came across here on Madeira!

Delicious falafel wrap with mango. Fries were okay - they could have been a little crispier and less greasy. The freshly squeezed apple-carrot-ginger juice was excellent and the price was good. The outside area is very cosy, and the food was served quickly.

Fantastic food, atmosphere and service. Can't recommend the place enough, especially if you're vegetarian/vegan as finding good place to eat is a bit tricky here. They do the delicious soups and meals of the day, but be aware they are popular and late in a day might be sold out. Otherwise, tasty tortillas always available and great option in itself. They do the fresh juice of the day and cakes as well, both not to be missed. Friendly and helpful staff too, making us feel very welcome. To sum up, we've spent two weeks in Funchal, dined there everyday and can't wait to come back one day.

A real gem, tucked away in Funchal! Veggie food can be a struggle here so delighted to have found this place. The courtyard seating is lovely and quiet, and the falafel is excellent - we enjoyed the salad and a veggie burger. All good was very fresh and the apple and raspberry cake was delicious. Service is prompt and friendly. Portions are a little on the smaller side so I’d recommend ordering more than you think you need - it’s all delicious anyway!

A hidden gem!! We found this on Google after searching for vegan food options and ended up going twice because we loved it so much! Lots of vegan options that tasted great, healthy drinks and the vegan cake was delicious. Service was very good also. Would highly recommend Fala Fala to refuel after some big hikes!

Truly delicious food at a very good price. I had a vegetarian version of a traditional portuguese black bean dish which did not disappoint. I will certainly come back here to try out other dishes. Service was nice and quick.

We looked for a vegetarian restaurant and found this cozy little place. We got the soup of the day, two different kinds of wraps and a dessert, which we enjoyed. But we were mostly impressed with the great service provided by Alex. He was very friendly and professional. Two small negatives were, damaged plate and stained glasses, but the friendly and positive service made up for this. Highly recommendable.

Cute place with great vegan options! The burger was great, the hummus & falafel could have been a bit better. You should try the Affogato - the icecream was awesome

My husband and I were visiting Madeira and I have to say this place is a must go hidden gem. The food was amazing, with a selection of wraps/burgers and desserts for vegetarian and vegans. The food is well priced. And the most notable is the service - the servers and owner were kind and friendly. We visited multiple times and if we were here longer we would continue to visit. Consider stopping by this amazing restaurant!

One of the best vegetarian/vegan places on the island. Located in the middle of everything in old town Funchal, the atmosphere is peaceful, tucked away and quiet. Food was delicious, great service and plenty of options. Must stop for any vegetarian or vegan.

Juicy and filling falafel wrap with Madeiran twist of mango & passion fruit. The restaurant is located in a secluded alley, away from usual Funchal noisiness, together with pleasing aesthetics of the place and good, but not disruptive music, make it a great place to chill out and relax.

In side the Arcadas Sâo Francisco at other end is this beautiful all vegetarian restaurant. They have both indoor and outdoor seating. We preferred to sit indoor and the look was fabulous. The staff is very helpful and they had English menu card. We settled for falafel as quick bite and local beer Coral. Lovely experience.

I'd rate this place 6 stars if I could for everything: food, service and atmosphere! It is located in the cutest alley with lovely plants and great Brazilian music. Finding vegan/vegetarian spots is not easy, and even if you're not veg, do go there. The tortillas were the best and the coffee with the option to add 1 scoop of vegan ice cream + syrup (caramel or vanilla), was absolutely delicious. Highly recommend

Cute place in the courtyard of a shopping centre. Peaceful. Cute play on the word falafel and Portuguese verb "to speak". I tried their salad and I enjoyed the falafel and all the fruit and vegetables in it. It looks like it has a good lunch menu. I'm not vegan but I enjoy vegetables and falafel, so I'd go back in a heartbeat.

Fala Fala is a great place for a calm lunch. We tried soup, wrap and burger and everything was just great. As a dessert we had a cake and chocolate mousse and again, it was delicious. Service is pleasent and makes you feel comfortably. Next time I'm in Funchal I'll definitelly visit this place again.

Wonderful! 😍 It was the best falafel I’ve tried in a long time, the place is beautiful and clean and prices are surprisingly reasonable. Separately, want to mention the staff- they are probably the loveliest people I’ve met on the island- such sweethearts. Overall, this place makes you feel like home. Definitely coming here again, as a local

One of my new favorites. The veggie burger was delicious with a side of fresh and perfectly seasoned fries. I had the salad that was wonderfully crafted with what tasted like hand selected ingredients at their peak of perfection from the avocado to the mango. Everything tasted fresh, the flavors were combined expertly with great detail to include texture and contras with the dressing and the pumpkin seeds. The service was friendly and nice and the atmosphere was super chill. Don't miss out on trying their Madeira Tonic. I had one and couldn't stop thinking about it for the rest of the day.

👍 Fun location on the Lido Promenade for tasty pizza and salad. Since we'd already had drinks at lunch and an afternoon cocktail, we chose bottles of water with our meal.
