How to get there: When arriving from the national road, turn on the narrow road leading into the houses, then at the intersection, take a left and drive 100m maximum and you get to the parking lot/entrance of the store. You can also follow the small white arrow signs with (Pivnița Bunicii) that guide you. Very good artisan food, beverages and other delicatessen! I recommend this place if you want to take home some delicious souvenirs from this whole Bunești-Viscri-Meșendorf-Saschiz area. You can also order online from their website. Unique recipes, lovely owners from the U.K. promoting Transylvania! I just wanted to buy one item of each, but just stuck with bitter cherry jam and Acacia cordial this time!

If you are interested in shopping for local jams/zacusca (veggie spread)/chutney, Romanian brandy and gin, herbs…this is the place to check out.

Awesome traditional products and reasonable prices. I bought several things from here, including the local gin which is very good. I would have preferred if the jam and different spreads come in bigger portions, since the jars are very small and sufficient for eating 2-3 times out of it.

Easy access from the main road with parking available. You will fall in love with their products or even traditional beverages all artisanal.
