Good place to stay in a moderate budget. Rooms were clean but not applicable for those who expect a high level stay (no tv, bit dark, etc). Very kind owner. He is treating the customers in a very friendly and descent manner along with his family. Nice breakfast set with tea and banana shakes. Since it is situated inside the galle fort, it is very easy to access all the important tourist places such as museums, churches, fort beach and the lighthouse. It is a very good place to stay in a medium budget with a peaceful environment.

Stayed here 2 nights in early October, so out of season. Staff were friendly enough. Reasonable budget rooms with very very basic bathrooms. But good enough for a short stay. The room had everything you might need (fan/aircon/tv/kettle), but not particular usefully laid out of course. Great location though, and for $18 a night Inc breakfast was actually great value for money.

The hospitality at this location was second to none. The owners were super friendly throughout our stay there. Clean and convenient place since its pretty much right at the entrance of the fort itself.

Worst stays ever. Room was dark and small. And they overcharged me 😑 would never recommend. Breakfast was not bad. Quite a few options yet no seasoning very bland

Ideal location in historic Galle. Steps from the ocean and an easy walk to restaurants, museums and art galleries. The room was an excellent value. Clean, very comfortable bed and nice bathroom. The owners are such nice people. They made me feel very welcome. Overall, I can't recommend this lodging establishment enough. Oh... Breakfast was great and included in the price of lodging.

Great place in Galle Fort! The rooms are spacious, nice and equipped with air conditioners. The hosts are very friendly and the breakfast is exceedingly delicious.

I am writing this as soon as I get home.. I booked the family room with my friends. As soon as I walked in, I fell in love. The rooms are very tidy and beautiful. AC and Cool Box are working fine without any problem. Bathrooms are very clean. I would like to tell you about breakfast. It is very tasty and nutritious. And that aunt and uncle are very kind. Oh, I want to remind you, little brownie 😁 I would recommend without a doubt, this is the best rest in Galle Fort at a reasonable price.

I recently had the unfortunate opportunity to stay at a guest house, and I must say that my experience was far from satisfactory. The concept of a guest house is meant to provide a comfortable and enjoyable stay, but unfortunately, this particular establishment fell short on multiple fronts. I would not recommend it to anyone seeking a pleasant vacation or getaway. One of the most disappointing aspects of this guest house was the fact that they shared their own house. This arrangement created an extremely awkward and embarrassing situation for guests. It felt like we were invading someone's personal space rather than being welcomed into a professional accommodation. The lack of privacy was uncomfortable and made it difficult to relax and feel at ease during our stay. Additionally, the guest house's policy of not allowing any fun activities was frustrating and baffling. A vacation or retreat is supposed to be a time for leisure and enjoyment, but this place seemed to have missed the memo.

Done by a couple in their home. Good rooms. Friendly. Don't expect the same level of amenities as a hotel chain. Unbelievably good price for a place inside the fort. Removing 1 star because they didn't have all the amenities they mentioned online. But please go, it's a good place.
