Very central yet very tranquile place. The rooms were really clean, up to the corners, and had a nice design. I was working in the hotel industry for many years, so I have an eye for details, but here I couldn't find a thing that I'd change. We stayed in one of the Deluxe rooms, and decided to extend our stay right after check-in. (We were lucky, as they could still give us the room for the 5th night.) They helped us with planning our day, laundry, renting a scooter, our special dietary requests, everything. We felt welcome from the first moment. Employees are engaged, and owners also work hard to make your stay perfect. Their attitude to life was very inspiring for us. Enza is an amazing cook, I recommend you eat in the guesthouse at least once. They convinced us to visit a nearby beach we had not thought of, and it turned out to be one of the most touching experiences we've had in Sri Lanka so far. 🐢 I cannot talk only about an accomodation, as it was more than that: the overall experience was even better than what we expected. It was a very comfortable experience staying over. The rooms were spacious & the bathrooms were in excellent condition. Amazing food & very friendly & welcoming atmosphere.

Very nice and cute little hotel. The owner has lived in Italia for many years and bring not only great coffee :-) but also Italian charm in the interior with him to Sri Lanka. The prices are super compared to expensive hotels in the fort, where you can easily walk to. The rooms were very clean and spacious. Breakfast is rich, you can choose from different egg dishes and on top get waffles and fresh fruit.

A taste of luxury at budget prices. Not enough superlatives to describe Brixia. The location is 10/10. 5 minute walk to Galle railway station and 10 minute walk to Galle Fort, but set just outside so you can experience the less touristy side to Galle as well. Really modern and very well designed/styled and exceptionally clean. Breakfast was huge with a wonderful platter of fruits the highlight. Owners are so friendly and can’t do enough to help you.

We stayed (unfortunately) for only one night at this wonderful hotel. The staff member who welcomed us with a complimentary coffee was very friendly and helpful. The room and bathroom were clean and tidy. Breakfast and the coffee were delicious. The hosts were also pleasant and engaging without being intrusive. If we find ourselves in Galle again, we will definitely book this hotel.

Excellent rooms and beautiful bathroom. The breakfast was also really good. The owner couple were really hospitable and made us new breakfast everyday which was all super delicious. Deducting 1 star for the only drawback. Their was some cleaning on the roof on both of our two days there. Problem was the drainage was spilling on the entire walkway indiscriminately all over it, and it smelled disgusting, like sewerage water. We ended up with dirty spots on out clothes everytime we went in our out.

A lovely place to stay in Galle. The owner and his family are very helpful. The rooms are lovely and the location is good. The food was also amazing. We booked in Dodd dinner as well as breakfast.

I stayed there with my family and we loved it!!! The hosts are very sweet and treat you like a guest rather than just another customer. They have some adorable cats and very clean and hygienic place. The Breakfast was awesome. Their omelette and cappuccino were just ❤️ The location is also perfect as most of the places to see are walkable from there.

Amazing hotel. Staff was super friendly and professional. Room was perfectly clean (that is not common in Sri Lanka). We had rich breakfast with tasty coffee (they also offer capuccino - also not that common in Sri Lanka:)). We really enjoyed our stay. Thank you for everything.

The hotel is close to the train station and all local attractions. The rooms are spacious, clean and the beds super comfy. We also woke up early to watch the sunrise from the roof top terrace, which again was so nice. Thank you and keep doing what you are doing, you are amazing!

Words cannot fully describe the amazing time and vibe we had staying at Brixia, but I will try anyway: spotless clean hotel, with tasteful details and fragrances that already tell you there is a different level of standard. The standards we all miss a little bit while travelling across Asia. Great design and details throughout the building. Both Enza and Jinendra are warm and kind hosts, available for a chat about life stories, advices about the surroundings, organising transportation, etc. Amazing breakfast with Italian standard coffee and Cappuccino, finally! Freshly cut fruit, bakery items, eggs cooked as you choose and more. You can feel they care about you and your experience while at their venue. All that for a great value for money. We had a lovely stay and really appreciated the owner’s willingness to adapt the usual breakfast to our dietary restrictions. It’s a convenient location and although we were worried it might be noisy, it was fine to sleep in the night and overall would recommend the place! Moreover, the owner if you want a proper Italian coffee, that's the place to be. Grazie!

Lived here three days. Then returned here for another three days. Highly recommend. We really love the owner. - Poor internet. All the other is excellent! Big cozy rooms with brand new big bathrooms. All room have air conditioning, big bed, tv and more. Very delicious breakfasts. Close to railway and Fort. No compromises. Take it and you won't regret it.

We had a fantastic 3 night stay. Jinendra, the owner, was so great to chat with - loads of helpful tips and information. The walk to the Old Fort was not bad at all, and as so many have noted, the breakfast was very good. Comfortable room, and such lovely fluffy pillows. Nice and close to the train station as well. If you have a chance, stay here!

Good place to stay in Galle. Near by to railway and bus station. Service was good and breakfast as well. The place bit far away to the pedlar’s street which takes about 15 mins walk.

If there were more than 5 stars available, I would gladly give them that. Where to begin? To give you some context, I am from Goa India and I have never experienced such a warm welcome and amazing service. Jinendra and Ensa (owners of the space) did EVERYTHING in their capacity to make us feel welcome and taken care of. The breakfast is an amazing spread with the best coffee. The rooms are super clean , the bed is amazingly comfortable , the bathroom fittings are extremely modern and beautiful. The overall decor is just beautiful. We will definitely come back here and bring more family and friends! One night we requested for a dinner with them and Ensa made the most amazing seafood spaghetti for us. This was more than I ever imagined to get before arriving to Sri Lanka. My heart is full and I couldn't have asked for a better place to stay. Thank you Jin and Ensa 🙏🏽 You guys are truly amazing 🙏🏽

Highly Recommend!! 😇😇 Four of our girls went to this amazing place this weekend and it has been one of the best stays for us in Galle. The owners Mr. And Mrs.Jinendra were such sweet and supportive people. They payed special arrangements for our safety since we were all girls. We booked a kings and a queens room which were super clean, contemporary and had all facilities they promised. The staff was very supportive and friendly. The setting was modern, calm and classy despite the fact that it is located at the middle of the city. And the breakfast was delicious and wholesome 🤤🤤🤤

What a wonderful little guesthouse in the middle of galle. Very central, you get to Galle Fort in about 5 minutes of walking. It's modern, it's clean, the wifi is fast, and the food is very good. The owners wife is from Italy, and she knows how to cook Italian style. You can also order any type of fish, and the owner will manage it, fresh from from the fish market. If you want to learn more about the culture and history of sri Lanka, he is happy, if he can answer all your questions. We enjoyed our stay there, and wish you all the best..ronny and Katha

The place was lovely, with top cleanliness and comfort. The location was very convenient, and the staff extremely friendly. The rooms were spacious and food excellent. Overall, great stay, would love to visit again.

This is a v new (<1 year if considering the closedown due to COVID) and charming establishment. Comfortable bedding, tasty western breakfast n lovely hosts ☺️. Location is 10mins walk to fort n 5-10mins to main shopping street. Note: there is widespread power cuts n diesel shortage in Sri Lanka from Mar 22. Best to contact property prior check-in to avoid in conveniences like no lights, aircon or hot water.

Visited the guest with my friends and honestly such a cosy place would 100% reccomend to anyone looking to explore down south, as it is just a 2 min walk from the bus stand, hospitality was soo good the owner was such a friendly personality and cleanliness was at it's best. This is definitely our go to place in galle! Oh the breakfast was amazing too!

We had the best stay! Such a nice host. We really wanted coconuts and couldn’t find any in the town and came back and as soon as we said it, they brought us some. The rooms are super clean and really nice. We barely noticed the power cut. The breakfast was also really good. We had Omelettes with Toast and lots of fruit. We also got to try new fruits after we said we really enjoyed eating local things. Can definitely recommend. It’s also very quiet, we thought it would be loud because it’s in the city.

What a gem! Everything about this hotel is stunning! The level of cleanliness, the decor, the service are well above the usual standards for Sri Lanka. We traveled around the Country and been in many accommodations and by far this is the best, with a great price point. The rooms are spacious, spotless clean, furnished with a neat and well thought taste and so are the common spaces. The owners make you feel welcomed and cared for: a truly premium experience. It is located near the Fort and the train station so easy to visit around at walking distance. We will definitely come back as we had a 5 stars stay!

The whole experience in Brixia was just amazing. The host, Jinendra and his wife were really nice, friendly and helpful. Whenever I needed something, they were there with an assistance. The last day in the morning, Jinendra even walked with me to the bus terminal, I was so touched. And, great/beautiful breakfast and comfortable room. Highly recommend!! Can’t wait to see them all in the near future!

Everything is super clean, breakfast was amazing. The Italian coffee, yummie. Public transport is around the corner if needed. Fort Galle, 10 min walk away & also if you need to do some work, it’s a great place to sit quietly with good internet. Recommended & definitely come back!
