Good location, clean and relaxing environment. My partner and I both booked for 90 minute deep tissue massages. One was good (female therapist) the other wasn’t (male therapist). However, the male therapist was engaged and tried to adjust style but unfortunately his lack of experience with deep tissue massage and my lack of Sri Lankan vocabulary to ask for a different type of massage meant it wasn’t enjoyable. Wouldn’t suggest avoiding, just choosing an alternate treatment to deep tissue if you book with male therapist. Massages are competitively priced.

Agree with previous reviews - we chose to have two 90 mins deep tissue massages (male therapists) whom lacked technique and strength. They did ask whether the strength was alright during the massage itself but could hear through their breathing that they were struggling, so I didn’t press the issue more. Towels smelt like rancid oil from previous massages. BEWARE (!!!) that they advertise their services in USD on their menu cards but charge (whether in cash or credit card) in local currency. This means that Olu Spa charged us USD$58 per person for the massage but then used the “official bank rate” to convert into Rupees which benefits them, and therefore earn USD$5 to $10 more than the quoted price. I did question them why they did this and they offered to give me cash for the price discrepancy, to which I declined with a comment that this practice somewhat cheats your customers. They were unable to further answer after this comment.

Extremely average place. Did not enjoy the massage, and there was too much of commotion outside - you could hear everything - definitely will not recommend if you are expecting relaxation. Expect male masseurs. I am sure there are better places.

Best massages ever. I had a full body, legs and shoulders message. Clean, great atmosphere, very professional and caring staff. I ended up going there 3 times while I was in SriLanka. Surly will visit again.

I stumbled upon this place on our first day in Galle Fort and I was not disappointed. I got an Ayurvedic relaxing massage on two separate days and the staff knew exactly what they were doing!! I was extremely happy with their service.

We had the full body Ayurvedic relaxing massage and it was the best thing we did during our stay in Galle. The owner is really genuinely nice and the place is stunning from the inside. Very relaxing and calm. The masseuse was really good and nice. After the massage, we had a steam bath and shower followed by a tasty herbal tea. It was a great experience, definitely a 10/10 Wishing everyone at Olu Spa all the best and we will be back :)

The massage is okey, it is relaxing but pretty basic and not really profesional. We were 3 person asking for the same massage and at the end we realize that we had completely different massages. It is expensive for the service they offer.

I had a full body massage by Upeksha. She was the best thing there! Her massage was professional and I could tell she was following the muscles and finding tension spots. The place needed some attention and those towels need a boil wash to get the heavy massage oil out of them, but Upeksha is the best masseuse I’ve experienced, so all is forgiven!!

Best Ayurveda massage in Galle. Very professional and clean. Good pricing too for what you get. Would definitely go again when back in Sri Lanka

an upmarket spa at galle fort. Lots of different packages to chose from. Be aware they dont have more than 5 or 6 beds so if you going in a large group you will need to stagger your massages. They sell a lot off organic products also .Friendly staff

We booked in for 45 minute foot massages. I would really call mine a foot rub. It was certainly relaxing (I fell asleep at one stage) but not the invigorating deep massage I would expect from a massage in Australia. I guess it was a pleasant way to spend some time out of the heat. It was disappointing when they asked for cash - we’ve been avoiding carrying that much around. The issue was settled when they borrowed the card machine from the cafe nearby.
