πŸ‘πŸ‘ Beautiful park with lots of small paths to take. Nice to walk the dog and to ride the bike or just for some walk. Lots of trees that I really hope they never put down. The only thing that I would complain about, is the amount of rubbish. People often mention walk,

Great-escape place to nature for sunny weekends where you can spent hours of walking around and even through the woods on hidden paths.

Took the 409 bus from Eyre Sq. for a little walk. Disappointed there was so much glass in the ground all around the castle. Walking trails are nice and wide.

Nice trails. Beautiful nature but I suggest you to don't walk alone, expecially in the evening. If you are lucky you can meet some squirrels.

Such a wonderful and beautiful place to visit! It looks just like you entered a different world and century! It is raw, full of Celtic vibes and enormous. Great for walking your dog, do some exercise, take a stroll or just to escape city life and embrace nature!

Lovely walks! But easy to lose where you are unless you're a regular!

11 of us went. Small path through a line or 2 of trees. Nice for shade. There are a few rocks with carvings of a bull, fish etc. but not much else to see. Very small and everyone was bored very quickly (ages 4 to 66). If your looking a forest walk, or wood walk, don't bother

Not good for stroller but nice for a short walk. Nature is beautiful everywhere isn't it? :)

Extensive urban park with beautiful trails, very accessible and the castle is interesting. Check out Friends of Merlin Park on Facebook and YouTube for more info.

Firstly, I can see that the reviews posted by so called "local guides" are fake or dillusional. What knobs. Rough scrubland, accessed through very deprived area of city. I was afraid to park my car. The castle is a ruin, with nothing remarkable to see. Honestly it's a waste of time....
