Clean, quiet, perfect spot to spend those 30 minutes lunchbrake or evening. Take in consideration Irish weather 😁 as they are some strong guts.

One of the most stunning seaside walks I've been on. The buildings coupled with the wildlife and ocean created a wonderful, peaceful walk. If you have the chance, walk to the lighthouse just to the west, it's worth it!

The crew of Aran Island ferries was very professional in handling the gangway, all aspects of the ship, as well as all the passengers on our trip to Inis MΓ³r and the Cliffs of Moher. The ship was clean and the high-backed seats were clean, comfortable and free from wear and tear. There is room for 400 people, either upstairs, which is outdoors, or downstairs, which is indoors. All seats have good views, so no rush to get on board. While viewing the Cliffs of Moher, the ship went past and turned around so both sides had good viewing. They are punctual, so don't be late!

Lovely port bay, nice view and walk around. Loved it at the time of Ocean race, it was much busier. Now its quiet and unfortunately closed on one side so cannot walk all around the coast here. Recommend

Caught a ferry to the Aran Isles and it was easy to find where to go. The parking is plentiful and very reasonably priced for the day.

The Port of Galway is situated at the centre of Galway City. It has a history dating back to the 10th century, serving the city and region. The Port Company set out to develop a new Port for Galway, allowing larger ships to moor alongside this new infrastructure and by doing so, remove the commercial shipping and its associated activities out of the existing β€œgated” harbour.

Love that this city has its working port and small marina in the middle of the city! Restaurants and bars and shops are very close by. Stroll around the harbour to see working ships come and go. See to fishing boats and traditional wooden boats moored to harbour walls.

Amazing views, eye catching scenary and a perfect spot for bird viewing. Enjoyed my time thoroughly on the ports and sea side. Weather added up cherry on it with drizzles and super rush of air. Great place to sit down for sometime and enjoy the nature.

A smallish tide dependent port which uses a lock to catch the high tide around the piers to keep the ships afloat. When the tide is high the lock is open for ships to enter or leave the port.

Well organized to send people on the ferry to Aran islands, but not really a place to visit if you don’t have to

Galway was a lovely vibrant city to visit. I visited this during a cruise around the British Isles. I definitely felt it is a place I would like to visit again. So much to see and do!

Nice clean waterfront carpark here. 2 euro per hour is reasonable. Good for taller vehicles with no height restrictions on the entryway. Handy 5 min walk to Eyre Square and shop street.

Port of Galway was a nice way to walk into Eyre Square or to the Spanish Arch. Lots of boats to see and the hustle and bustle of people working on the ships. We were lucky, weather was nice while there.
