Where
to
begin....
The
gentleman
at
the
reception
did
not
know
how
to
perform
is
tasks
efficiently.
Took
45
minutes
just
to
complete
a
transaction
on
debit.
The
room
itself
is
average
at
best.
Pillows
were
very
mushy
and
the
new
hotel
management
seem
more
interested
in
micromanaging
everything
rather
than
offer
a
comfortable
stay.
Shower
head
sprayed
everywhere
except
where
intended.
Bathtub
was
so
slippery.
They
clearly
removed
the
anti
slip
mats
and
were
too
cheap
to
replace
them.
Ended
up
having
to
shower
in
a
forward
spread
stance
just
to
keeping
myself
from
slipping.
Cable
tv
was
so
basic
in
choices
that
CPAC
was
the
most
interesting
channel
to
watch.
Was
flat
out
accused
of
stealing
a
WASHCLOTH...
Yes!
A
washcloth.
Of
course,
this
wasn't
the
case,
but
apparently,
their
staff
is
so
perfect
and
efficient
that
it
is
impossible
for
them
to
make
mistakes.
Rather
than
argue
with
a
rude
and
condescending
young
lady
at
the
counter,
i
told
her
to
charge
me
the
5.75$
for
this
mysterious
missing
piece
of
toiletterie.
Clearly,
the
hotel
needs
the
funds
more
than
me!
I
stay
in
hotels
all
the
time
and
if
visiting
Gatineau,
i
strongly
urge
you
to
avoid
this
establishment
of
rude
and
incompetent
staff
and
look
at
these
alternatives:
-
Hotel
V
(excellent
service,
absolutely
adorable
staff)
-
Manoir
du
casino
(very
comfortable
Mezzanine
options)
-
Adam
(since
the
remodelling,
they
have
been
doing
a
great
job
shedding
their
old
reputation
and
are
definitly
way
above
"Auberge
de
la
Gare"
Bottom
line
is....
if
you
enjoy
rude
staff,
minimalist
comforts
and
are
only
there
to
sleep,
this
one
may
be
ok...
but
bring
your
own
pillows,
theirs
are
so
mushy
and
you
only
have
two
per
room.
Best
to
bring
your
own
toiletterie
and
make
sure
not
to
touch
anything
of
theirs
or
you
will
be
accused
of
stealing
even
if
you
obviously
did
not.
