We have eaten here a few time now and like it. They have good food and great service, the restaurant has always been clean whenever we have gone to this location and the staff always helpful.. the food typically always arrives in a decent amount of time but with enough time to enjoy an entree between your main course/meal.. and dessert if you so choose. The washrooms have always been clean when we have gone. We have only encountered an issue one time and the staff very apologetically and quickly resolved our issue with a smile.. Overall a great location and place to eat..

I recently visited The Works and unfortunately, my experience was quite disappointing. I ordered the Mac and cheese burger with KD on the side and a chocolate shake, but unfortunately, the KD was not up to par - I rated it a 2/10. The burger did not come with ketchup, and I had to physically get up and ask for some. Additionally, I found myself needing to drench my food in ketchup just to make it taste good. The burger itself was only rated a 4/10 and I found it tasted better cold. We also ordered Cali flower bites, but unfortunately, they were frozen and uncooked. While the waitress was kind enough to offer to take them back, the overall experience with taste was not good enough for me to accept her offer to bring me another meal. Furthermore, the restaurant was packed, and it took a long time for us to get our order taken and for our food to arrive. This added to the overall negative experience. It's a shame that my experience at The Works was so disappointing as I have previously enjoyed their 3 ring burger. However, based on this experience, I do not think I will be returning anytime soon. I hope that the restaurant takes these criticisms constructively and works to improve the quality of their food and service.

Lunch special review: $13 for a 4oz burger pre-selection combo is worth considering. Add an extra patty to satisfy an adult. Recommend Dead Ringer (beef brisket, onion ring and cheese) but there’s so many good choices, therefore worth revisiting. Service is good. Lacking in “gourmet” presentation but who really cares?

Never a bad meal at The Works. Burger variety is always huge, flavours are continuously being updated and experimented, and the portions never get smaller. I really like that they added a lunch portion size burger so that you can do lunch and not be completely food comatose during the afternoon.

My family and I have been coming here a few times a year for the past 7 years or so (so I owe them a review). I live 15 min walk so it is convenient. Hamburgers are tasty and varieties are plenty (although I not always like the combination of condiments). Staff are friendly, and ambience and décor are super great. It can be bit expensive if you don't always watch what you order (or sometimes the waiter/tress asks if you want gravy without realizing it cost extra - same for avocado).

This chain has been long-time favourite for years. Although the menu is shorter than I remember, there is still quite a variety. Vegetarian and vegan options available (impossible burger can be substituted for any beef burger). Fries are also endless, everything is delicious and the service is super quick and friendly. High chairs and outdoor seating available.

Went for an early dinner with my family today. Our burgers were pretty standard. I ended up getting an Obaiwan Kobe man's cave, which is similar to a burger I make at home. It was alright. My husband got the taste of heaven, he enjoyed it. The kids meals were likely good, but they focused on eating the fries, which were excellent. Just the perfect level of crispy and salty. Lots of skip the dishes orders were being picked up while we were there, which kept the waitress busy and our service a bit slow at times. But we were okay with it since she seemed to be the only one working at the time.

Excellent burgers!! And great location for bridlewood. Always extremely busy so make a reservation! Even pickup orders are very busy on the weekend!

I ordered the War Pig burger with Poutine. Very flavourful. Staff was helpful in finding a burger from their extensive menu. Quiet location, clean tables, and polite and friendly staff. Not a fast food place, but I was able to get my take out order in about 10 minutes after placing it. Cost was slightly higher than other sit-in restaurants for a single meal but good value for what I paid.

I think we are being a bit generous with this rating on the basis of today's experience, but I've been here before and have enjoyed the crazy burger experience. That being said today was a bit of a disappointment. I'll start with the food, and then get to what I think put the nail in the coffin of today's dining experience. I ordered the Beyond Burger to see what this no-meat plant-based burger was all about....can't say I was overwhelmed, but it wasn't bad. My son's bacon burger combo was good and he seemed pleased with it. My daughters breaded chicken was quite over done and she didn't even want to eat it. The biggest disappointment was the service. Our server was pleasant, and service was good up to the point we got our plates. It was at this point that the service really dropped off. We didn't see the server again until we were done. I was too busy with the kids to really deal with it so we just said no to dessert, paid the bill, and left. Better luck next time, maybe....

Update: Thank you to Chris for sending me a coupon. I emailed the restaurant and they were great to work with and rectify the issue. We will gladly return. Thanks again Chris I took my daughter here for take out yesterday. The food was way over cooked. It cost us $50 for dinner and she didn’t even touch her food. Extremely disappointed as we have been here before and it was always great. Our server who took our order was amazing.

I had an amazing experience. The place has an awesome atmosphere. The vibe is soo cool. The customer service was fantastic. They listen and paid attention. The best customer service I have had so far. I order the Gettin’ piggy with it burger and my fiend ordered the impossible sexy burger. It was beyond our expectations. The server checked-in on us several times to make sure we are doing okay or need anything more. Salut to chefs and staff.

The stuff didn't know that it''s impossible to hold a burger with double burgers. Didn't warn we. Was falling apart. Was served with dry and rotted lettuce. See the attached image.

Perhaps they were having a bad day but really is was beyond bad. Service was bad. Waited a long while to get asked what we wanted to drink. Then waited over an hour (and that is being nice) for food even though we ordered then with the drinks. Food only came when I said if this is going to take another half hour we are leaving. 3 out of 5 burgers were dry and overcooked. Bad service, weak food, at a not so cheap of a price equals won't be going here again. Lots of other good burgers in town.

For $30 I ordered the war pig Burger, with a side of onion rings. I received 9 onion rings, And a small burnt Burger. I was extremely hungry when I placed the order when I saw the food so dissatisfied. What a rip-off. I highly recommend you stay away from these places I'm just starting to wonder if I stop that a&w how much $30 so food I would have received

As expensive as always, just not as good as it used to be. Our burgers were extremely overcooked and dry. The options have been drastically reduced. No more Fitzroy brisket. Very disappointed.

Hot, tasty, the food looks just like the pictures and great friendly service.

The die cut chips with the spicy home dip are to die for. I can order the chips alone and be satisfied with my order. I also order the Hipster burger with elk meat which is always tasty.

Our order is always ready on time and freshly done. The staff are prompt and polite. When we were able to eat in we also enjoyed the sit down experience at this location. Keep up the good work folks!

The service was excellent and so was the food. Very pleasantly surprised. From my Caesar to my blue cheese burger. I will definitely be back. The daytime server on Monday was EXCELLENT!!

Great service, delicious food. Only complaint is the odd lettuce buns. Typically when you get a lettuce wrapped burger it's a full lettuce leaf done kind of like a pocket, but The Works does full slices of a head of lettuce for either side of the burger. So it's more crunch, less stability. Still delicious even though more napkins are definitely a must!!

So many wild choices who knows where to start! I travel all over Canada and this is easily one of the best burgers I've had anywhere. Fries were also excellent. I'd have taken a picture but it was gone before I realized :) Great service as well. I ordered through a delivery company and realized I forgot to add my room number to the hotels address. Called and spoke with Ellen and she fixed it no problem. So polite and friendly! will definitely order again when I'm in the area. Great job!
