Even though the hostel is not very easy to find in the middle of the whole buildings and stuff, the hostel itself it's a very nice one. Firstly, it's very good located close to the city center and the main train station. Many local grocery store around and nearby. Staff is very friendly and speaks a good English. They are also suggesting things to do and to see. The rooms are quite nice with a good size "locker" under the bed. There is also a reading light and sockets on each bed. I just didn't give 5 stars because of the bathrooms (which there is only two of them for the whole hostel).

Hostel? Clean and new. Staff? Delightful. Prices? Pretty good. Location? Amazing. I did not sleep a single hour though, due to horrendous noise coming from the street all night long. This hostel if for extremely hard sleepers.

Very cost-friendly hostel, right near the heart of Gdańsk old town. 🌆 I stayed here for a couple of nights and was treated really well by staff members who all spoke very good English! 🇬🇧 The entire hostel was immaculately clean, with many helpful guides for Gdańsk and the surrounding coastal areas. 😎The shower/washroom facilities were much better than I expected! 🚿 I spent most of my time in Gdańsk exploring, so this place was a godsend to store excess baggage in the personal storage lockers (provided as standard). 🛄 I'd definitely stay here again if I'm ever travelling in/around northern Poland! 🇵🇱👍

Location was perfect coming from the train station. Midtown Hostel is a small but clean and well designed place with 2 bathrooms and a kitchen. I stayed in a cozy 6 bed dorm room with sliding doors and they provided us lockers. Staffs were friendly and gave us recommendations and maps for things to do and eat in Gdańsk. Highly recommend!

Fantastic stay! The place was spotless and the staff were very friendly and helpful. The location is good as well. If I return to Gdansk I would definitely stay here again

You definitely get a lot of value at this hostel; extremely clean, very well-located and friendly staff. The free coffee, tea and cereal is just a plus

Great location, seven minutes walk from the train station and less than five minutes from the main town of Gdansk. Supermarkets and pubs are less than a minute away. Cleanliness is great and the people staying at the hostel were all friendly and mature. This is not a party hostel though. The staff are all very friendly and helpful and not afraid of chatting. Beds are a little hard and you have to make the bed yourself. Towel is not included but can be hired for 5 zloty but that seems to be the way it works in Polish hostels.

Best hostel I've ever been to!!! Professional, friendly and helpful staff, willing to make your stay much nicer (especially thanks to Ola!). Good location and price. Cosy and calm atmosphere. Though the rooms can be a little small, they have everything you need, the mattress are comfortable and the decoration is so nice and new that makes you feel at home. The bathrooms are great and so are the living room (which even has DVDs, television, books, magazines, CDs...) and the kitchen (equiped to cook and with free coffee and tea the whole day, and also milk and cereals for breakfast). Definitely recommeded.

When we arrive to address, after walking long time, we have found out that that the entrance is not where they said. You have to go back around the entire block of building in order to enter in a path that it was full of sand and water and we were walking with our suitcases and we have never been adviced of that. On the webpage where I made the reservation it says that they have two floors and a lift. I'm wondering where do they take such information because there is only one floor and you have to climb a really old stars with smell of mold. After that, we arrived to the entrance and she said that it's not allowed to be with shoes in a really bad way. I'm wondering where they put that also in the reservation. After the long journey being treated like that it was a huge disappointment (and I know that in certain places you have to remove your shoes, but not the way). Later she gave us the key of something that it's completely wrong. There is no space for opening the suitcase and definitely is not the room that they advertised on the webpage. The doors, are just for them not be able to see you because they are like a paper and beside you suppose to have a key, you can easily open every door if wanted. The mattress is really uncomfortable you can feel every spring on the mattress. As they described the room it seemed like a small apartment, which means fake descriptions. You only have one toilet with the shower, so hopefully you won't needed when somebody is using, and again the doors are like paper. The whole hostel is clearly an apartment that they wanted to take the most of it with really tiny rooms.

Very clean and light place. Close to everything you'd like to explore, also very close to the central station. You could easily cook a simple meal and eat in the common areas. Most importantly, the staff was very kind and helpfull. The place felt very safe, much thanks to them since they were there all the time during the day. I'd truely recommend this place.
