What a gem! Coffee is amazing and I thoroughly enjoyed my well-cooked big breakfast. Staff are very polite and warm, will definitely come back again when visiting Emerald.

Cozy place. Friendly staffs. Great coffee but their Charlie Chai is just fair. Average servicing portions and delicious meals - worth the penny. Could be busy during peak hours but there’s parking spaces available right across the café (library). After devouring sumptuous meal, enjoy walking and sightseeing in Emerald Lake. We will definitely come back again. Highly recommend this place.

A stand-out cafe with great coffee, friendly low noise layout (Big sized kids area just out the back and not front and centre in like some other places in the area) Service is friendly and attentive, Coffee is great, food is presented well and tastes great. Absolutely sensational. As a person from central Asia and the middle east, I get a bit skeptical when I see Turkish eggs or anything that seems adventurous in terms of flavours etc on a menu. I ordered the Turkish eggs with Halloumi and a rosti. From the flat bread to the yoghurt, the chilli tomato puree, it just hit the spot. Whoever the chef is, understands flavours. Add to that excellent service and happy staff, and you've got the most deserving 5 stars I feel I've given in years. Moreover, and most importantly, my wife loved her meal. Anyone who is married, knows that this could make or break the next 20 minutes (days).

Sat outside with our puppy, it was a bit drizzly but totally fine because it was all undercover! The coffee was perfect, very smooth and tasty and the food was DELICIOUS with lots of vego options 👍 Very friendly and fast service too!

We had our breakfast here with my family. We ordered Turkish eggs with breads and it was delicious. The staff, the environment and the restaurant were amazing. Highly recommend this place!!

Sorry I didn’t get a photo of the Calamari or the Freshstart lunch. We didn’t get photos because we were too busy raving about how great it was. The Freshstart: I haven’t tasted anything that yummy in a long, long time. Presentation, taste, service, absolutely spot on! Well done chef!

Really nice cafe, staff were very busy and apologetic but didn’t need to be as the service was still quite fast and the meals were great. Coffee was perfect. Nice ambient environment and very friendly and attentive staff.

We visited this cafe for the first time on Sunday the 29th May. The staff were very welcoming the service was great and it's a lovely environment inside and out. We really enjoyed the coffee which was nice and hot with excellent flavour and the beautiful moist and tasty carrot cake freshly baked that morning, everything looked delicious. It was quite busy and as we only ordered coffee and cake we tried not to stay too long. I wish we lived closer to this cafe as I would definitely be there every day!

For 5 days zipping around Victoria this is the highlight of eateries! This is when I think I give others 5 stars to others, too easily. Pacific Paradise Bliss was an off beat choice, that is fantastic. The whole crew are friendly and helpful, thanks for the morning

The food was enjoyable and I loved the beetroot relish. We sat outside but I wouldn’t recommend it. No heaters so we sat in the cold and the number of trucks roaring past kind of ruins the atmosphere.

First impression is great. Love the train paint on the wall, great vibe , clean and family friendly place. They have the honey bee drawing to keep the kids entertained. The staffs is very friendly as well. We ordered one of each dish, wagyu beef brisket is a bit dry, but the rest is very delicious .

Was welcomed immediately by a very friendly waiter. She was super helpful and we sat in the booths. We ordered the apple crumble pancakes and the loaded baked potato. Also got a chocolate milkshake. Food was delicious staff was great.

Enjoyed an amazing breakkie with the family here, the atmosphere is gorgeous, staff are friendly & attentive, the food & coffee is 10/10. Plus, there's a little dedicated space for little ones to play or colour I'm at the table. I've made this my regular now and happy to share my great experience with others to highly recommend 😀

We love this cafe: the food is delicious and beautifully presented, the service is prompt and attentive and the coffee is absolutely perfect! We have visited regularly and recently we have been delighted to explore the new menu - we miss the pink pancakes, but we loved the new chocolate with berries! :-P this time we also tried the grilled chicken and pear salad - a new favourite!!! i cant wait to go back and have it again! We highly recommend:-)

The staff at the receiption was not good. She did not acknowledge us as customers since we had came for coffee and told the restaurant is full and occcupied. However, there were 3 tables full empty. She simply wanted to get rid since we came for coffee and not lunch. Very inappropriate behavior . She need to understand that all are customers after all. Bad attitude towards customer

Breakfast at an affordable price. Smashed Avocado was amazing, an explosion of flavours in your mouth. Egg and Bacon rolls filling and delicious. Menu has a wide variety of foods, well presented and a good portion Size for cost.

I was after a burger. The menu said beef brisket burger. But it was a sandwich; slices of beef and a slaw. Having said that, it was incredibly delicious and the chips were REAL CHIPS and I loved it. I will definitely go again. Why call it a burger?

We have been coming here for years. Alison and her husband have always put everything they can into the business, and it shows with how they train their staff, the quality of the food and coffee, and their overall attitude. Without a doubt our favourite place to go!

I visited sticks and stones today with my friend. The cafe has a lovely warm feel to it and has been fitted out beautifully. I had a lovely mug of coffee and it come presented in a beautiful Robert gordan mug. Food was fantastic and the menu has just been updated. Do yourself a favour and go.

Eye catching cafe, walking in you feel warm & are instantly greeted by such kind staff that are so welcoming. The interior design is a sensation hybrid of vintage & industrial with a modern twist, greenery & vintage lights hang beautifully from the ceiling. Food is priced very well, the quality & taste goes beyond what it’s priced. Fast with service & the coffee is perfect for a cold rainy day. Thanks guys!

First time in sticks and stones cafe, Emerald. The food is absolutely amazing – everything we tasted melted in our mouths. Delicious dishes with beautiful presentation and service. Love this place and will continue to visit.

Nice place for breakfast. If you're sitting outside expect a fair bit of noise from the road with quite some traffic. Coffee was nice though a little burnt, milk is well done. And food was good but the dish I had was an odd mix of cold and hot components.

We went there in a busy weekend, unfortunately staffs weren’t polite. It might one if their busy days, but it wasn’t pleasant fir us. The quality if their food was 4out of five. The service was quicker than we expected. Love the atmosphere and wall paintings. It is really nice that they have kids space, but it wasn’t clean enough. They have Outdoor table, but the shading wasn’t working well to make it comfortable. Will go there again to see if I can have better experience.

Our local and we love it. Great coffee and meals. Always a friendly hello, get you seated and water brought straight away.
