One of the many places to visit along the loop road route from the museum. Heartbreaking experience yet we must remember what happened and try to learn from the deaths of so many boys and men. The entire day is well worth going even though it is so poignant and is about so much pain, death and loss.

An interesting and significant place where the fate for the Gallipoli (Çanakkale) War was sealed due to Ataturk's sight-seeing where the ANZAC's would land. Decorated with a big Ataturk statue.

Very interesting place, the highest point, where you can see the view of the Çanakkale Butterfield area. Here Mustafa Kemal Atatürk was saved from the enemies bullet by his pocket watch

Know in English as The Battle of Chunuk Bair - the allied and Ottoman forces fought over a period of four days saw the Allie’s defeated by the entrenched home troops of the Ottomans led by Kemal Attaturk (who was shot in the breast and saved by his pocket watch) and later founded the Secular Republic of Turkey in 1923.

What an experience! Really made us think..... Besides the actually end point there are many cemeteries, both ANZAC and Turkish to stop at. Definitely go there under your own steam by car so that you have time to spend at each, and have peace and solitude if you need it. Probably the same impact as many WW1 sites, but it makes you realise what a horrible war it was, and tbe conditions and lost cause that (in this case) they had to endure. Costs nothing to enter the area. My suggestion would definitely be to go under your own steam if you can.

Amazing place. Serene and beautiful. More than a century ago this place was carnage. I hope we've learnt as a human race that our mistakes from the past shouldn't be repeated. Lest we forget.

You have to see this place in order to understand why it was so strategically important. Even if history is not important to you, it is a very scenic location.
