One of the better cinema complexes in Penang. Located on the top most 8th floor of 1st Avenue Mall, TGV consists of multiple movie halls; standard 2D and Beanie. This TGV is centrally located within city center with ample parking lots, F&B and shopping! It has good comfortable seats, spacious and above all clean.

Very nice cinema outlet to go watch the latest movies in town. The place is really clean and well kept. The seats are quite comfy and spacious. The viewing of the screen is not bad. To go you can either take the lift directly to the 8th floor or taking the escalator, you need to go until the 4th floor and at the sushi restaurant, there are escalators going to the 8th which also the subsequent floor are the car park area

Nice and clean. One of the frequently going cinema for latest Indian movies. The seats were clean and just after sanitised The staffs are quite helpful and friendly. Located at the 8th floor of 1st Avenue Toilets not clean during our visit Parking is ample and easy to access

As TGV club mamber i always says one of favorite cinema is TGV and here is in in center point of full penang island city. Good sound system just need improve staff be more in pick hours and weekend days..

Best cinema in Malaysia hands down Normally would go for imax but imax is only available in tgv gurney paragon.

Seating - no doubt is great. But the FOOD - damnnn expensive. RM18 for 8 pieces of nuggets. Another RM18 for boiled sausages that do not taste nice. TGV, inflation is real but this is too much. The LEAST that u can do is, cook & serve your nuggets & sausages properly. And there is a strand of longgggg hair in my nuggets. When I informed the worker, he smiled & left without any response.

TGV Cinemas 1st Avenue has currently reopened again for the screening of Wonder Woman 1984 after a hiatus during CMCO. SOP is strictly followed. There is an attendant screening your temperature and MySejahtera QR check-in is required. Everyone is seated one seat apart in the cinema hall. Remember to choose Cinema 1 or 8 if you want to be in the bigger halls. The remaining ones are smaller.

Nice & clean now.. The have the family friendly sessions, which I think is very good for kids. Cinema 2. But if you not going with kids, maybe you won’t enjoy that much. Nice show and enjoyed.. 👍👍👍👍

I just entered Cinema 1 for a movie, and gosh it is super dupper dirty with food wrappers on the seat and cans everythere...why dont you clean the hall before allowing viewers...do we pay $$ to sit in this dirty environment??

nice and clean. Superb audio. Love the oku ramp to toilet. Great cinema experieance. One of my kids jaw was dropping the whole time.

When we visited only terminals for buying tickets worked. Only one accepts cash but you may struggle as it just didn't want to accept some money!! I liked the beanie movie theater, very comfy.

The whole place at the foyer is so depressing. And, the waiting zone looks so run down. The theatre hall (4) on the other hand was good. And, the Royal popcorn pricing is way too high.
