One of the Kingston’s local treasures. Having so many brilliant family time here. Excellent friendly services, delicious food, nice atmosphere, with cosy indoor rooms, conservatory areas with heating and garden seatings. Dog friendly.

This venue was most welcoming when I opted to have a family wake here Right from the start from tentative enquires, Brad (our host )and his team could not have helped me more . After an emotional send off to arrive ,and have 40% of the bar area for our private use for the time we were there was much appreciated. With tea, and coffee to hand to help our selves, Drinks via the bar Away from the public it lead to a relaxed atmosphere thou it was a case of waiting for the food as it been prepared freshly . My only comment on the down side is the VERY LIMITED parking area for just three cars a point to bear in mind. And if I could polightly point out the ladies in our party found the sandwiches on the rustic side a bit large for the pallet. Will certainly be coming back. Photos added speak for them selves

Quite empty for a late lunch, but blissfully quiet. Good food. We had the camenberg cheese, crab cakes and chips with a coffee and a lemonade. The bill was just under £40. The sharing cheese was beautifully cooked and succulent and the crab cakes were excellent. Crab cakes were advertised as coming with a salad. That part was the only dissapointment as it was just lettuce leaves nothing else.

Came here for a quick lunch and ordered the Sausage sandwich and a half-pint of Guinness — don’t plan on going back. The service was good but £4 for a half-pint is almost criminal. Also, while I was initially willing to forgive the price of the sausage sandwich, I was extremely disappointed when I opened it up to see it only contained a ‘veneer’ of sausages (see photo). Finally (and possibly worst of all), I went to the toilet before leaving and was confronted with a door where someone has engraved “N***ERS OUT” and a swastika. I have to assume this was a customer but it’s unbelievable that this hasn’t been covered or permanently dealt with by the owners. Perhaps they don’t mind it? I ended up leaving the establishment feeling swindled and slightly disturbed.

I arrived late in the afternoon and was made very welcome. The staff were very friendly and helpful and the Sunday Lunch was delicious and generous. I hadn't realised that the gratuity had not been added as all other pubs I have visited add this automatically. I didn't have my reading glasses on so didn't realise that I had to had this myself. I feel sad that I hadn't left a tip and as I was on a local one off visit am unsure if I will be able to return. But it was one of the best Sunday Lunches I have enjoyed.

Horrible service! Moulding bar, dirty, stinky, toilet 🤢, Manager rude, disrespectful also to a local old costumers. Albert is not the nice local family pub before, only a couple of staff is polite. Definitely not recommend! We neighbour choose Black Horse instead, it’s just in the next corner, better service, prices, food, decorations; Not the sad grumpy The Albert for locals people is. Also Manager and a person in charge is careless over charging and you most not complain of nothing either of food.🤮expensive burgers, you get it!

We had the best Father’s Day in you pub! We were a last minute large group of 16, food was delicious, fresh ingredients... chicken pie was wholesome and very tasty, also the half chicken dish was very good, everyone enjoyed the burgers but perhaps salad or coleslaw would make a nice accompaniment. Great pale ale too. The staff were lovely, very patient with our group and service impeccable. Thanks so much we will be back again to try the other dishes. Thanks again for hosting us.

5 years ago vs today. Me and my partner used to frequent this pub, and went back today feeling nostalgic. Such a mistake. The food was sub-par, the place is understaffed and took 20 minutes before anyone came to see us (in a half empty pub) the stuffing looked like dog food and the entire meal was out in less than 5 minutes. Clearly nuked in the microwave. Such a shame.

Delicious lunch sat outside in the sun. Good vegan options. Only downside was food took a little while to come out (despite being very quiet), and I had a rush to get back to work. Otherwise, very nice.

On the search for the best vegan roast in town, the lentil etc roast did not disappoint. Everything was very tasty and presented beautifully however… whilst I’m not strictly vegan, my date was. In place of her Yorkshire pudding, she asked for an extra potato, to which the server said this would not be possible due to a slice of potato’s cost far outweighing the cost of a Yorkshire. Okay fine but we paid £20 per portion, we only got 3 small roast potatoes each, and I’d guess the plate was no more than 1000cal. Not the food coma experience I’ve come to expect from a roast lunch to be honest, so for that I have to rate this roast 3 out of 5. An option to pay for a large portion would be appreciated. Love the decor though

Very good breakfast/brunch even if the menu is a tad limited. We also had excellent food when booking dinner. Only big criticism is whenever we or acquaintances of ours booked dinner there on a Sunday evening, it has been a huge disappointment. As in we had to wait forever for service. Staff obviously couldn't be bothered. In the end, we left. We had enough waiting. My work colleague had the exact same experience recently. Her party booked for a Sunday evening and staff acted like they were a nuisance for wanting to eat. They also had to wait for a long time and she told me they were hugely disappointed in the whole thing. A bit of advice: If you don't want to serve dinner on Sunday evenings, just stop doing it, do drinks from 4pm and advertise it on your website. It would spare us the bad experience. Shame, as every other time it has been great.

Fantastic boozer, I sank 11 or 12 here at the weekend with the Mrs. One of my regulars in the area. Lovely food, the Albert burger is succulent and moist, could have done with a couple of little pickles though 🥹. Great staff, the chap with the long hair and beard is very handsome!! My only disappointment is that my favourite barman, Otter I think he was called, isn’t there anymore. Shame, I miss him dearly.

Gorgeous decor and ambience. The staff there were totally out of this world. I was there working as a digital nomad during the day and despite the fact the young lady on the bar was alone in the morning, she went out of her way to check I was okay whilst managing other customers. Nothing was too much trouble for her. Food was delicious. Total gem of a place! I'll be back :)

We went on New Years Eve at 5:30pm (which was probably a weird time to have a meal). The food was good but perhaps not to the usual very high Albert standards. I'm guessing they were a little understaffed and not geared up for people eating at that time. However still a very enjoyable place to go and a great way to start New years eve.

Good quality Sunday lunch and a decent pint of Guinness. What more needs to be said? Friendly staff and relaxed environment. Also dog friendly which is great!

Food nice but orders did not come out at same time. Was able to sit beside our bikes. Nice staff. I would go again with no problem.

Virtually no parking spaces f only for 3 cars. Carpark has been given over to out door dinning which wasn't very inviting right on the main road. Staff very helpful and attentive. Nice inside for a drink. Not so impressed with the food limited choice of menu. I had pork loin over cooked. Others had trout which they enjoyed. So mixed bag!

No photos needed. Any one who eats here will say the same. The food is fantastic the staff are great. A warm welcome. The place it's kept to a high standard of clean and the variation of drinks is very good indeed. I'm happy to say I will be returning. The menu is great. Not to much and not to little you don't get bamboozled with to much choice. Keep up the great work.

Nice atmospheric pub. A lot of young crowd often come here to have a drink or celebrate a leaving party. This pub also serves good food.

Very nice staff and giant pub. I wasn't expecting it to be so big when seeing it from the outside. I've been there a few times and I have no complaints about them! Highly recommended

Really lovely pub - spacious, very clean with friendly staff and delicious food (at very reasonable prices). I'd like to return in the summer to enjoy the large garden area. Would definitely recommend.

This is the pub we return to each year after our Christmas Walk, this year we had a total of 12 people. Started off with a lovely walk around Richmond Park and then headed to the pub. We did have to put our orders in a couple of days before due to being a large booking and supply issues as was close to Christmas but they still accommodated for everyone. We had our own seating area and were regularly checked on by staff. The food was great, always has been a treat here. Even left room for pudding this time!

Excellent service for Sunday lunch today, attentive but not overwhelming. Genuinely felt welcomed. Some of the group had issues using app, bills were individually itemised for ease of paying. Great work 👍

The setting and ambiance of this pub are amazing. The staff are very friendly and accommodating with amazing food and drinks. It's a very family friendly place where children are welcomed. The only negative thing is the price, it's quite expensive in comparison to your standard pub in Kingston.

Nice pub, nice staff! Me and the Mrs came here to celebrate NYE and the food was Amazing! Table service was prompt too. Only thing is the neighbours have a curfew on the pub which meant after 11pm i couldn't quietly sip a drink outside with the Mrs in the lovely heated garden area. Other than that. It's a lovely pub 🤗

Always been a nice pub but really rocketed lately due largely to some of the most attentive and friendly bar staff you could find. They always go the extra mile. Good food too.
