A hidden gem of the garden route however please be extremely careful if you decide to venture into the water as there can be a strong back current with no life guards in site.

Great beach for a walk or a relax in the sun. Decent surfing when the waves are right. No dogs allowed due to the breeding population of African oyster catchers. Beach is relatively plastic free and SAN Parks staff do periodic beach sweeps to collect any that has washed up. Dolphins often seen in the bay. Parking is fairly safe, be sure to keep any valuables out of sight.

It is a nice golden sandy beach. It is very clean. It is not crowded (few people visit this beach). When I visited it in Late July, I was the only one in the beach. It is a good to walk. If you like to walk to Gericks Point, make sure that you walk in low tide time (both going to Gericks Point and coming back). Note you can not reach Gericks Point during high-tide time.

Simply the best. Our favourite beach for more than 30 years! We go here every Christmas holiday, and whenever else we can. Miles of pristine beach, stunning views and snorkling (at low tide) from Gerika's point, great to fly our model gliders from the dunes - and the ice-cream man in summer.... Love it.

One of the best beaches in the country. I took a walk all the way to the western peninsula, and found only 3 pieces of plastic and a piece of broken bottle. The cleanest and most cirene beach I know.

What a beautiful beach, gosh it's absolutely beautiful and that's where it ends. Such a pity that the stairs leading to the beach are in a sad State of affairs but you can sti use them if you careful. The toilet however are an absolute disgrace and absolutely disgusting. Seriously needs to be fixed up and cleaned.

Beautifu,pristine and safe beach if you just want to go for a stroll on the beach. There are many shells if you like to pick up shells
