Great meal, great service, nice atmosphere and good value! There was a big confusion about our reservation because there are two restaurants in the hotel. We were told to go to Rôtisserie du Chambertin, but one is called Bistrot Lucien, and the other is a Table d'hôtes, and the receptionists had not forwarded our reservation to either one. But once we found the proper spot, we had a truly wonderful experience. We would eat there again!

They accommodated us despite it being a late arrival. Food was very good and we had a great wine. Very friendly staff

Whilst the restaurant and village are cute, I really do not understand how, as the only vegetarian option for the main course, despite asking for other options, you can actually only serve unsalted 4 half carrots and two spoons of spinach. There seriously must be more room for creativity. Vegetarian does not equal vegan and even for a vegan option this would be very disappointing. Unfortunately, the online menu is also not the available menu so this was even more disappointing. The dessert however was nice.

Really enjoyed our time at this small wine bar, where we sought cover from the rain. The atmosphere was modern, but cozy. They had a very good selection of wines (especially enjoyed the Trapet Rossignol €20 / glass) and the cheese platter was top notch. The manager gave us some really helpful advice on which wineries to visit and where to pick up some of the local cheese. They also have a wine shop where we ended up buying 5 bottles based on the manager's reconnection.

Ate lunch there last week and the food was exquisite. The sauce for the beef dish was beyond amazing and my favorite dish in France. The ambiance is homey and the service was excellent. My friend enjoyed her foie gras and chicken dish as well.

My wife and I visited Bistro Lucien for lunch. Not only was the food truly superb, complemented by an excellent wine list and delightful ambience I must call out the extraordinary service. Unfortunately I tipped over a glass of wine avoiding a very hot plate of dauphinoise potato with red wine covering a significant portion of my shirt and trousers. Not only did the wait staff rush to assist with napkins etc. they: 1. Gave me the chefs spare shirt 2 Insisted on having my shirt laundered and dropped back to our hotel 3 Gave us each a glass of their own Grand Cru wine to make us feel better Compare this to our experience a couple of months ago at a restaurant in Sydney when a waiter spilt a glass of peach bellini all over my wife’s silk dress and apart from a short apology and 1 free desert we were handed a business card and suggested to get in contact if we wanted dry cleaning charges covered. Can’t recommend this restaurant highly enough and will use their service as an example to my team at work

Unfortunatelly, we were dissapointed with the taste of the food and the quality of the service. I do not believe it deserves any Michellin star and the orices were high for this restaurant. Here are some comments, The beef (stew actually ) was heavy, it was difficult for us to digest, i felt uneasy for several hours. Waiters did not fill the glasses with water and drinks at all, Table cloths and/ or serviettes would be nicer for a fine dining rest. The waiter could not effectively guide us in selecting wine. For instance she did not take our main course into consideration. The music was ordinary, the temperature was high, by the end of the dinner we started to feel sleepy and floppy.

Classic French restaurant in a classic setting. Great food, Impeccable wine list and friendly service. My favourite was the peach tarte, perfect finish to a sensational lunch.

We coincidentally passed this restaurant during a wine tasting tour. The food was absolutely delicious and the staff very friendly. I definitely recommend this place!

This meal was an excellent pleasant surprise in wine country. Each dish was well prepared and the vibe is really nice as well. Would definitely return and recommend it. Vegetarian and vegan friendly enough too.

This is for Bistrot Lucien. A pleasant restaurant with friendly service. The food was pretty average and expensive for what it was. The wine list is good, but the prices are high. You can find better in the region. We were underwhelmed, not worth going out of your way for.

The restaurant is very overpriced especially comparing to the quality. The service was very slow and completely amateur. We really had to fight to catch the waiter to order the food and then we have waited like 30mins to be able to pay. The food was not better than a simple canteen, the chicken what my husband has ordered was disgusting. I would not recommend this restaurant at all.

Two wonderful meals with great wine! The sommelier was incredibly helpful not just about food and wine but the local area also.
