Very cute cafe/bar. The inside is cozy but you can also sit outside, right by the canal and enjoy the nice scenery.

Loved the location and the great selection of beers. The overall atmosphere is amazing especially with a view on the water. The only minus point was that it took a very long time for the waitress to make her rounds, so between arriving and being able to order we waited a good half hour. All in all amazing place if you want to hang out with friends for a cozy evening, just not if you’re in a rush.

I've been there for a tea in the evening. Lovely, cozy vibe and fantastic spot on the canal. Apparently the cafe's run by a big grey tabby cat - which gives it +1000 points in my book. If I lived here I'd be here all the time :)

This place has a brilliant location which is the most advantage. Tables beside canal are always occupied but if you have chance to sit there, there will be the best place to enjoy the summer breeze. The service was it that perfect but acceptable. Drinks and food were simple but not a big issue if you just want to have drink and being chill out with friends. I like this place.

A cozy place to enjoy your food and/or drinks. Friendly staff. Has an amazing terrace with beautiful views of the Leie river. The greenery adds to the feel of the place.

Great location by the canal, one of my favorite spots in Gent. Wine is nice, coffee is okay

It's a nice cafe along the canal. You can sit outside and enjoy the view or you can enjoy the same view from inside the restaurant too! The interiors look cozy as well, even though we were seated outside, since it was a wonderful day! Service is prompt and very friendly. The only issue I had there is because I have an issue with smells and that was the smells of the sewers, for which nothing can be done. 🤷🏽‍♀️. In any case, it was a lovely experience and I would go there again if the occasion arises. (The photograph is the view from where we were seated)

Very nice location near the water with the possibility of sitting just in front of the canal. Unfortunately the poor waitress was all alone and not being able to handle all the tables by herself (not her fault though). We sat in at around 13h30 for lunch (which they serve until 14h), but it took so long for us to finally get hold of her that when we finally got to order, at 13h55, she said that the kitchen was just closed and we couldn’t get lunch anymore. We left.

Really nice bar. Service can be a little slow at times, but with the wait. Much larger beer selection than is on the boards outside too. Would recommend.

This place is a pretty cozy spot in Ghent. There are plenty of nice beers available. It is comfortable inside and pretty relaxed outside with an amazing view of the river. The staff is very friendly. I highly recommend this place for a cozy cup! Check it out !!!

Really cool little bar! The atmosphere is the best part of it. Enjoyed my cappuccino, good price/quality (€3), you can choose plant-based milk (brand: Sproud) for €0,3 extra, hopefully it will become the same price as regular milk soon 😊?

It felt like a little hidden gem in Gent. We saw the bar during a boat ride and decided to stop by for a beer and a snack. The atmosphere next the water was cool and the clientele was young. Fun little bar perfect for a snack and a beer!

Awesome bar, just tucked away from a main street but with outside seating on the river. Inside the decor and music is very cool and cosy. Also a wide beer selection as you'd expect.

Nice place in the center of Ghent. A bit away from all the other bars. Love to go there. The terrace is along the river. Also inside very cosy. And lovely cat!

We had the most wonderful evening here. Friendly staff, wide range of delicious beers and such a warm welcoming vibe. 10/10 will definitely come back on my next visit to Gent

What a beautiful coffee/bar in Ghent! In summer, you can enjoy a beer (they have a lot to choose) in their iconic terrace, close to the canal. Also, the inside is very cozy and beautiful, and you can try their chaud drinks too on winter time.

A very nice and cozy place, they have a lot of different good beers. They have a good terrass just in front of a canal. Beautiful views. I don't but 5 stars because of the price, it could be cheaper.

Good student café 👍 Affordable prices and good drinks. Good portion for snacks. Fun to just hang out with friends. There's also a very friendly kitty there to welcome you. 10/10 I recommend.

Heavy rain brought us spontaneously to this place. Nice and charming with kind service. Enjoyed our stay very much. Could imagin the small terrace towards the water is extremely nice during warmer nights. + the big and fine selection of Belgian beers will make everyone happy. Fully recommended.

Very nice place for a coffee or a beer, amazing view of the canal and various roaming ducks!

Pretty nice place, beautiful view although tourists boats drive past regularly. Little bit chilly is the mid-afternoon as your in the shade outside.

  • 4/5 Frank J. 2 years ago on Google
Nice terrace... Especially when you can get a spot nearby the water on a sunny day. I can only hope smoking will also be forbidden soon in public areas like these

Nice place to have drinks and snacks with a nice view

Food truly basic. Like students meal. Skinny toast with some vegetables? Probably not enough soup. Its sad joke to be honest. If you want only to drinks, ok, whatever, if you are hungry — avoid this place as much as possible.

👍👍 « Luxury fries 🍟 » and well it is quite expensive. But I’d say it is worth it at least once. It is the price for exceptional fries 😉. The fries were absolutely delicious, and well cooked. They ask you to choose 2 homemade sauces. I took the béarnaise and 🤤. The chicken chunks were natural and tas...
