Nice hotel in a very central location. Clean and comfortable. Only two issues - the toilet is just a cubicle made inside the room with no separate roof. So whenever someone uses the toilet, it stinks up the whole room. Very bad designing and they should consider fixing this. Secondly, my boyfriend and I were super tired from traveling and were looking forward to sleeping till late in the morning but were woken up by cleaning ladies gossiping loudly just outside our window(we were on the ground floor) around 7/7:30 in the morning.

Beautiful hotel in the center. We had a room in the courtyard....very nice and spacious, with complimentary water. Very friendly and helpful staff. We enjoyed very much our stay.

Great location with very short walk to the town centre. I stayed in the Annex a couple of buildings down from the main hotel where you check-in. The room has an open plan toilet and shower, so no doors from the bedroom, but there is a partition wall. Lovely and efficient front desk service.

Great hotel, a beautiful historic hotel in the city center of Ghent. All major attractions are walkable from the hotel and the neighborhood is very charming. Breakfast was lovely and location was brilliant. Would highly recommend! · All good, some opportunities for improvement on the heating system.

We loved this hotel! All the details from the wonderful entrance, room with an incredible view over the city and even the breakfast with all the refinement and the wonderful waffle machine present at breakfast. Also worth highlighting is the cleanliness and friendliness of the staff.

No working wifi. Witch mean no tv or internet. Was offers to change room for better signal. Why not fix the problem. Spacius rooms and friendly straff.

Booked this late and was very pleased with the room, staff and how close to everything it was A lovely surprise.

Location is good, also a lot of good service and complimentary such as waters a bottle of wine. However sound isolation between rooms are really bad. You can wake up at 6 when the person on the upper room walks to the WC..

I loved staying there for a week. Everyday room was refreshed, and the breakfast was wonderful. The rooms had everything we need, including air drier, water kettle. I wish they didn't change towels every day, even when hanged, not needed. The hotel was close to the old city center, in walking distance from main attractions. The price was affordable, not cheap, but considering the location, definitely a good deal to visit the city for few days.

This hotel is either well practiced in fleecing their guests or needs to learn to accept responsibility for their mistakes! We checked in and paid for the city tax but never received the change we were owed and at check in we were advised by the receptionist that breakfast was included but have since been charged 132 euros for breakfast, having challenged them they have a belligerent and intransigent attitude and won't accept responsibility for their error. In short they're either con artists or the staff are badly trained for which they accept no responsibility!

Nice hotel. We were in a separate building, which we were not aware of when booking but it was a nice room and great service. Breakfast was decent. Coffee not too great.

The building has a very unique atmosphere. It's a historical building which has been renovated, creating a special vibe through the hotel which really spoke to us. Furthermore it's on a 10 minute walk of the tram and 5 minutes of a very reasonably priced public parking. The staff was extremly frienldy and provide excellent tips on questions like "which is the best route by public transport" or "where can we go for a nice dinner date this evening". On our first night the upstair guests decided to walk around alot and like throughout the night for which the staff did apolgise and explainded they were cyclist tourist that had to get up at 4 in the morning for participaticing in the tour of flanders that weekend. I don't know if they mentioned it to the guests but the second night we didn't hear a sound :) We had some issues with 2 power outlets (out of 6 so...) in our room but nothing that harmed the qualilty of our stay.

Super dirty and my room was so full of dust which I didn’t realise at first so I put my clothes on the chair and when I picked them up we’re full of white bits. INCREDIBLY dirty hotel and it’s a 1-2 stars one not 4!

Our go-to place when staying in Gent, friendly and helpful staff. Everything you need in the room including bottled water and hot drinks. The rooms are all different which is nice and there is parking just round the corner in ‘Ramen’. We will definitely be staying again.

The night shift staff were extremely kind and helpful. The room was comfy, cozy, and spacious, providing all essentials. Great location as well. Breakfast was a tiny bit poor and the place to store luggage when necessary was a bit unsafe. Regardless, I recommend this hotel and I’d be happy to stay again next time I’m in Ghent.
