Amazing Mexican tacos, highly recommend this place, tortillas are made fresh when you order them, this is purely Mexican food, best in city

From the moment I walked in I knew I was going to have a unique experience. This came to life when we saw the typical Mexican decor, chef Daniel (Mexican) and Mexican music playing in the background. The tacos are exceptional and the prices more than reasonable. Should I mention I got a shot of tequila on the house?

Wen't to eat at this place 3 times in the last 2 months. The taco's are really good and authentic. The price/quality is amazing and you have the right amount of choice to not get bored. I like to make taco's myself and it's nice to be able to try different flavours that are actually thaught trough at a place were they put in the effort to do something else then the large franchises. Would certainly recommend. Also make sure to go on a Tuesday or Saturday to try their limited flavours.

Authentic Mexican food, very delicious tacos. Bistec (carne asada) is my favorite tacos. Homemade tacos very fresh. The Tinga de pollo was delicious too. The owners of the restaurant are very nice and the service was great. Highly recommend this Mexican restaurant. My family and I are coming back. Thanks a bunch!

This is a small but lovely taco restaurant and we were impressed by the quality of the food and the atmosphere. The tacos were freshly made and packed with flavor, and the staff was also friendly and attentive. Overall, I highly recommend this restaurant for anyone looking for delicious and authentic tacos.

I was feeling nostalgic for home and this really hit the spot. Really great Mexican food, we tried almost everything on the menu and ate so much. Everything tasted amazing, I especially liked the chicken tinga quesadilla and the Cochinita pibil tacos. The horchata was just okay but they also have jarritos. The couple that owns the restaurant is really sweet as well and it made me smile to here them singing along to the songs, and they’re very friendly. Definitely call ahead to reserve because there isn’t a lot of space.

Best place in the city!! 🤩 Cluj is definitely missing some authentic places with specific cuisines and Bodega del Taco is exactly what a big city with lots of people and tourists and foreigners needs! Food is always incredible and keeping the quality high all the time! My friends and I made a ritual and go there every Saturday to enjoy the good authentic Mexican experience - food, music and colours 💛

I was here yesterday with a friend - we had a reservation, and as soon as we walked in, we were shown the table where they even wrote my name - very cute! The atmosphere is like a taqueria, very intimate, with 3-4 tables and Spanish music. We were told about the daily special and explained what is in each taco - impecable service, really. Once the food was served, we were told which sauce goes on which taco - again, really good. Now, I am absolutely not a food expert, and since I've been to Mexico once, I have no claim to know how any food should be served, but, what I saw in local taquerias in Mexico is that they have more veggies - either pico de gallo, more diced onions, tomatoes etc that one can choose from. The street taverns actually have big bowls of that to add as you wish. If the owners would accept a suggestion, it would be this: maybe offer more veggies, as the meat ratio was too much for us (it was delicious, nevertheless, and we ate everything), and we would have loved more onions, some pico de gallo maybe. I am aware of how wasteful some people can be (especially in our country) so I also understand why there's no bowl of pico de gallo to just dig in. That aside, I loved the experience and I would go back and even recommend it to friends and family, as the taste really is authentic.

It's a small place in Cluj-Napoca, a wonderful family buissness with an authentic Mexican vibe. They have only three tables so if you're planning to have this wonderful experience I recommend you book it beforehand. Their tequila is authentic like nothing you've had before and it pairs perfectly with their tacos and homemade salsa. The Mexican chef is the owner and his wife is the most lovely woman that greets and serves you that beautiful food. The Spanish music that plays is delightful and sometimes you can hear the chef sing. They offer you recommendations for food and salsa pairing and even tell you the story behind food. It's a cosy atmosphere perfect for that comfort food. 🥰

I wanted to try something different so I went in when going home and I must tell you I regret nothing. The atmosphere is pleasant: Simple place with "family owned" vibes. The waitress and chef were singing in Spanish, and I begun to smile because it was funny to see how relaxed they were. I've ordered the below dishes (couldn't decide between them so I took both) and right away the waitress told me how should I eat, mix and match everything and explained to me what the sauces contained. The food was of course delicious, albeit smaller in portion, but definitely erring on the qualitative spectrum. Very good and well made. I will come back here when I want to try different tastes again! Best of luck to this place in future

We went there very spontaneous at Lunch time so we had to wait a few minutes and it was definitely 100% worth it. Little cute Taco restaurant with a singing mexican Chef 🎶 and a very lovely Lady which is doing the service💃 We had in total 3 different Tacos and each of them was delicious. Served with tasty red and green salsa. Too bad we only had the chance to go there once. I would be a weekly regular customer If I would live in Cluj. Bodega del Taco is the only authentic taqueria that tastes like home. If you live in Cluj or are just visiting, like me, there will be no better place to fill your belly with tacos and more. The owners are wonderful people who speak Romanian, Spanish, and English. You can not go wrong ordering a Cochinita Pibil taco or the homenade chorizo that is served in multiple ways. It was a fantastic gastic experience that could only be given by a half Mexican half Romanian family, and it was given with love. You will not be disappointed. Go. And enjoy a little taste of Mexico.

Wow wow wow this place is a hidden gem in cluj that must be discovered if you are in cluj. The taste of the tacos are 100 percent authentic this place is literally mexico in cluj if you're looking for the best tacos hands down in Romania this is the place the quesadillas are also amazing!!! The flavors just burst in your mouth the sauces are also amazing!!! The chef has great energy you can clearly tell he is passionate about his cooking his singing just makes you feel so happy and as if you were in Mexico.It is a small family owned business by him and his wife she is so sweet and attentive they are just amazing people to come across I came here as a stranger and left with two new friends I will always come back here given the opportunity. YOU HAVE TO EAT HERE!!!

Very good authentic mexican tacos. They also made me vegetarian ones! The mexican cook & his wife make a really nice athmosphere, are really kind and you listen to latino music!

A good place to get acquainted with Mexican cuisine. I tried tacos for the first time, so I have nothing to compare with. I would say that they are tasty enough, but not enough to eat them regularly. I also tried hibiscus juice, it reminded me of cherries. The atmosphere in the cafe is pleasant and friendly, there are three tables, you can also take away food.
