If you’re looking for quality, excellent service and a unique culinary experience……don’t go any further ,Aquaterra has these attributes which have been made possible by an eager management wanting to raise the bar and keep it there. Difficult to recommend any particular dish as they all have a unique taste…..all outstanding. From the art of cutting and the presentation of hams to their selection seafoods and hand picked meats, they will not disappoint……and the appropriate wines to accompany them. Highly recommended!

A lovely, yet different place for lunch. Would 100% go back when next in Gibraltar. Staff are incredibly friendly, and the food was flavourful and fresh. Not a massive menu, but that doesn't take away from what is on offer. Great selection of cheeses and cured meat to take away, almost like a deli within the cafe, which had a lot of people coming in to take things home. It's always a great sign for a place. Small amount of seating outside, and not the biggest inside, but enough to ensure you're not sat on top of each other. Excellent coffee for after any meal!!

While planning with my girlfriend to visit Gibraltar, we wanted a lovely restaurant to go to. After searching on the Internet we found a top rated one @aquaterra. We were not disappointed. Jon Jon and Mario really helped me make a special date for my wedding proposal. The food, cocktails and wine with their excellent service made it a special evening to remember. Thank you 😊

Amazing experience. went for dinner last night and came back today for lunch. it was so good i only took photos of the menu because of how fast we eat everything. we tried the ham croquettes, terra salad, a bao bun of pulled pork, iberian ham and selection of cheeses. for dessert, the cheesecake. everything was heavenly!!! it was one of the best experiences i’ve had so far. today, we had the terra salad, a favorite, salmon (excellent!!) and duck in cherry wine sauce. this place has the best menu perfect price for the quality :) the service and atmosphere is also chilled but elegant.

First time visitors to Gibraltar and saw reviews on Trip Advisor. Aqua Terra is a cosy restaurant. The food was great. We had the rib eye and pork cheeks both very well cooked. We were served by Florian who was really attentive. Would definitely recommend to anyone.

Food was delicious. This was the best steak I had during my short stay in Gibraltar. The embryo carrots were delicious but could be better. Felt like they were an after thought and not originally part of the meal. Overall, I had a great time and would recommend them

A must visit if you enjoy some nicely cut jamon! Really friendly service and the place is just outside of a taxi stand so it’s the perfect dinner spot when it’s raining. We didn’t really enjoy the sides to the steak (esp the potatoes and the padron peppers) as much but all the other dishes we ordered were pretty good.

We waited for the girl, who never gave us menus. She disappeared for over 10 minutes, then when she returned, she looked directly at us, and then took the order of a family that entered long after we did. She knew we wanted to order but she turned and walked away. We walked out. We don't know if this was a factor, but we spoke English while the girl and the family spoke Spanish. I have had rude servers before and not written a bad review, but I have never had one be so deliberately rude. If the owner is reading this, we were there on Oct. 30 at 12:00. The girls very pretty, but if you don't want to lose more business, fire her!!!! (PS: We are two 60+ professionals, not rowdy kids.)

I had the pleasure of dining at this restaurant, and my overall experience was fantastic, earning a well-deserved 5 out of 5 rating. However, there are some aspects that could use improvement. The dessert called Banofi was absolutely delicious, a real highlight of the meal. The coffee, unfortunately, fell short of my expectations and could be described as rather weak. When it came to the main dishes, the octopus could have been cleaner, but it was still enjoyable. The goat cheese salad was simply explosive in flavor - a bomb of taste! The Iberico Ham was absolutely sensational and lived up to its reputation. The beef was also satisfying, although I would appreciate more depth in flavor or maybe a unique twist to make it stand out more. The sugar-free Mojito was exceptional and a great complement to the meal. While the staff was friendly, the service could have been a tad faster. One downside was the lack of internet connection, which might be important for some guests. In conclusion, this restaurant offers an excellent dining experience, but there are areas, particularly the coffee and internet service, where improvements could enhance the overall experience even further. I wholeheartedly recommend a visit, and I can’t wait to return myself.

Small cozy restaurant with great steak and good cocktails. Cocktails come in attractive forms. Goat cheese salad was perfectly seasoned, steaks were delicious and perfectly cooked. Starter-wise I recommend the prawns. Nice place for dinner and drinks but I didn’t dig the atmosphere too much, the place being something between a deli corner and a restaurant.

Food: Generally good but the octopus was rubbery. 4 of the dishes I ordered was not available, the Pork Cheeks, Duck, Picaña and Cheese Cake. Service: Poor, had to ask for dishes, pudding, bill two or three times. It must have been hard work as there was two occupied tables. Atmosphere: Right on the square so it was generally noisy.

Called in earlier for lunch, and luckily it wasn’t too busy. We both opted for the rib eye steak, and it was extremely tasty. The service was a little slow, considering that it wasn’t that busy. Cannot fault the food, and would happily return.

Incredible restaurant. The cocktails are amazing, you can get them in really fun glasses, monkey heads, bird nests etc. I had a steak dish and it was hands down one of the best steaks I've ever had. Even better is the prices, so cheap for the quality! Would 100% recommend. Nice staff aswell!

Amazing food and well worth a visit. Small restaurant so recommend booking a table. Croquettes are super delicious, wish we ordered more! Some communication issues with staff but overall an amazing meal and would come back.

Told us one of the best food in Gibraltar… and it was real. Great Spanish ham, nice tapas, fresh food overall. And the best service from the Spanish waiters :)

The steak was cooked to perfection and seasoned with large flakes of salt which is the way I prefer. The vegetables were also given the same attention as the meat and were done just right. The steak itself was exceptionally tender and juicy, but not at all oily. I wish we'd come back on our last day in Gibraltar as there shop side of the restaurant sold what looks like incredible cured meats that I would have loved to take home with us. Maybe next time!

We found this place during a week long trip in Gibraltar. Hands down the best food and drinks. Once we discovered it we had the rest of our meals here. Reasonable prices and really friendly staff!

A breakfast, coffee and an orange juice should not be served like a starter, main, and then dessert. However this is what we got. The toasted baguette with tomato and ham was very nice but service was slow. It was very busy and so needed more than just one waitress in order to satisfy customers.

This little restaurant offers an amazing delicious breakfast we were coming here every morning while our short stay. Pata Negra - is perfect breakfast with good quality coffee- was highlight of our mornings. Highly recommended!

The food is amazing - we love the iberico abanico (pork steak). But we did have a slight problem with one of the waiters. He was so pushy on selling us the cocktails (it was midday!), and we don't even drink alcohol. Kind of put us off a little bit. But other than that, the food, the ambience - we love it. Can recommend if you'd like a good iberico steak. 👍

Unique restaurant inside a ham/cheese store! Great quality, excellent service. Prices were mid-range, and be sure to make reservations for the weekend, they had to turn away people on Friday night!

Overall a pretty good visit here tonight, the food was cooked to perfection, their take on a meatloaf was very different but all the same nice, the only thing that let this restraunt down was the cheese board there was no blue cheese and some of the cheese presented was a little dry as if it had been exposed to sun light too long. What I will sey is this place is well worth a visit very good staff and decent price for the food.

👍👍 It's hard to find really good food in Gibraltar, but this place can be recommended. Traditional fish and chips very good, fish fresh and juicy. The coating is not hard as stone and doesn’t smell of old oil. The portion isn't cheap but it's huge so no one should go hungry. Local beer good but it's no...
