When in Kano, R & K is a great place to stay within your budget. People are the best here, starting from the owner himself, and the entire staff. They are always ready to help and go an extra mile to serve you. It's so well located, you can go anywhere in Kano, within 15/20 minutes. Though I have recommended the management to upgrade their food menu to include intercontinental dishes, but I am told the food is good for local tastes. Wish the R & K team the very best in future endeavors.

The room prices are fair. The rooms are cozy. There are good cable stations on TV. WiFi quality is poor. Their laundry staff is quite efficient. Their staff in general are polite. I don't recommend their food. You can find something way better outside.

R & K Guest Palace is a hotel 4 star rated hotel based on my personal rating of hotels in Kano State. The hotel is okay to be visited with one partner only as there is no studio rooms available as singles dominated all their floors. There restaurant is okay for everyone to seat with nice looking sitting arrangements as well as their meeting rooms. They have laundry service available on demand and also maximum security is being maintained with full surveillance in all the hotel's vicinity. R & K Guest Palace has enough parking space where no guest park outside the hotel premises. The hotel is located in a Government reserved area with security and surveillance in the whole area.

The place is looking sooo beautiful and the way they build the hotel looking amazing and they have a WiFi free too and the rooms a so quit and cool 24 hour light everywhere nice foods and delicious

It was the worst hospitality experience I ever had in my life.... We took 2 bedroom apartment in the hotel and wanted to have a one on one meeting with my staff in the room. To my surprise the owner of hotel one lebanese guy came and told us to check out very rudely as we cannot meet my staff in the staff... Noone cane to tell us that is not allowed but the owner directly came out of nowhere and told us to immediately vacate the room and leave ... Probably a racist guy... He is such an egoistic guy and completely unprofessional .. The way he speak to customers is rude and completely disrespectful... This is my first time writing a review against a hotel... But him so rude and not apologetic about it is very sad for hospitality industry...

If you plan to stay here, book/reserve in advance. Do not expect discounts also (it's almost a general Kano thing). Compared to neat and affordable hotels located in the GRA, this would be my number one. The Internet isn't so strong. The facilities are modern and fully functional. Their kitchen is very slow. The front desk should be taken for a customer service course (this also is a general Kano issue). Also work on breakfast options.

Whoever runs this hotel needs to send the entire receptionist's on a Customer Care course before they run down your business. I've been trying to make advanced reservations for 8-10 rooms for a 3 day stay. And these receptionist's are some of the most unprofessional I have ever come across. For 3 days , these guys (both males & females) can't give me the info I need. Requested for the Manager, one little girl there was nonchalantly telling me he is unavailable. They are clueless, don't pay attention, full of themselves and seem not to have adequate information available. I'm here to spend money and you're the one giving me attitude and being nonchalant. People like them get sacked in serious organisations. Very disappointing & forgettable experience. I took my business elsewhere, there are other options.

This is more like a small guest inn, more than a hotel, and pricing is reasonable for what it provides. We were only here one night and had to ask for a few things on arrival but staff were quick to respond and quite polite. If going through Kano for a short time, this is one place you can stay the night. There's also a food area and a small supermarket. If you're not looking for a lot, you'll have all you'll need here for the night.

R&K is a beautiful hotel and has a conducive atmosphere. It should be upgraded to a 3 star hotel. It deserves to be one.

R and K guest place is located in a cool environment. My experience with their staff was pleasing, very polite and courteous staff across different departments (reception, restaurant and security). The hotel has a swimming pool and a gym. One feature I enjoyed is the power controlled key cards which helps to reduce unnecessary wastage of electricity.

Arrived on Sunday July 31st,2022.Starting from the potter (Mubarak) who gave me an excellent customer service to the owner.He is an ardent listener to customers.Always eavesdropping (in a good way) trying to assist in every way possible.Hotel is very neat,excellent customer service.Gave me an upgrade simply because I didn’t want to be on another side of the hotel.I highly recommend this place.Nothing but 7 stars for a Nigerian hotel.This is going to be my new temporary home.

It was a lot cozier than expected. Spacious rooms and bathroom. They have a swimming pool and a big restaurant. Room service is quick and the receptionists are friendly. It is located in a serene place so there is not much activity going on outside the hotel save for an Astro turf and go kart centre right opposite the hotel.

Serene environment. With basic facilities. Room is ok. The cleaning people would need to be a bit thorough as I discovered a bottle under the bathroom sink, which was left by a previous occupant who had checked out before I entered. Talking of bathroom! Itwas really stuffy, I guess out mold from humidity. Food service: Don't rely on their kitchen if you are hungry. They have a record for not delivering meals on time. While waiting for my food to be served, a lady stormed in furiously complaining how her meal request for rice could take more than 1 hour. As for me, after 30 minutes of waiting for my poundo and egusi, I decided to look for a distraction and went back to my room to make an update call, only to come back and be told that my order was given to someone else as they did not have my room details😬 and that I should wait😡. I could not wait. So had to go out of hotel to look for food. No complementary breakfast. Travel: plan your travel if you don't have a vehicle. They are some private transport service providers that usually hang arround but these may not be available until 7:30am. So if you have an engagement that requires you leaving earlier.. make sure you make early arrangements.

The place is quite and clean. It also has a fridge. The only setback is the rooms are tiny (maybe where I lodged). The corridors too are very tiny. There are things I will like to bring to their attention, but not on a public review.

Beautiful hotel, nice location. You may need to book ahead as the hotel is always swamped -unconcerned & rude kitchen staff, be mindful of your food as my dinner looked like a mix of leftover and fresh soup. - Push a chair or furniture against your door as you might be barged into by an unknown person.

The standard room is so tiny feels like a box, ac doesn’t cool well, and the bathroom design is horrible. Food is good though.

One major thing I enjoyed throughout my stay was the very strong Internet, it didn't fail for one second, I didn't have to use my mobile data throughout my one week stay, which is rare in most hotels. Their meals are quite great except that the complimentary breakfast doesn't have so much options to offer and you get tired if you're spending a couple of days. The rooms are neat and tidy. Different meeting rooms of different sizes. Their staff are quite efficient as well.

Building construction done with real quality. Layout of the rooms not quite thoughtful. By design, no single light bulb apart from the three at the entrance line. The whole bed area has no lighting, by design, so you can't read or work in bed. Only one socket to plug 2 phones, wifi, laptops and other gadgets. 2 very flattened pillows can't even make up for the size of one. TV selection is awesome though, for those who dijt have work to do. As I wrote, build quality is fantastic, but guest convenience is obviously secondary. Sad, expensive for the price then.

The unit I stayed in had thin doors and so many people moving around the corridors. Sleeping was hard. Then also a leaking AC Other than that every thing seemed good. Location is central. Customer service ratings 5/10.

The my fellow Muslims, there's a the Qiblah direction notice in the rooms and also a designated room to observe solats. Their canteen/restaurant also serves all kinds of meals and drinks. Very good hotel in Kano G. R. A. Quite, clean, and above all, an excellent value for money. The only flaws are: 1) the wardrobe has no provision for hanging clothes. So i was unable to hang my suites. 2) there was no soap holder in the shower which turns the simple task of taking a bath into a cumbersome exercise.

It's an amazing hotel in GRA, Nassarawa LGA in Kano. They have good facilities though they have a swimming pool that no body can use . But they have good services. I recommend it for visitors in Kano. The hotel is usually fully booked on weekends so booking on time is an added advantage.

From my experience. 1.The receptionist are very bad in terms customer care and manners. 2. The staff are nice but they actually need more orientation on customer relationship. 3. The Kitchen is very slow, the taste and texture of the food, so literally not recommendable. 4.The hotel ambience and looks are good. 5. Some rooms are quite good some are so small and stuffed. 6. The rooms and toilet smells, and also some insects roaming all around. In general, if you are looking for a good reception, comfortability and luxury, I don't recommend you come here.
