This place stunk like a toilet, music is outdated also repetitive and I've seen younger people at a retirement home. Not worth the overpriced drinks......

Dirtiest filthiest venue I have seen! The toilets were putrid! I would think twice before going let alone ordering a drink from this venue!

I was there last Friday night and honestly can’t believe how the obnoxious and rude women at the bar get away with it. They treat you like they’re doing you a favour and you’re disturbing them for getting a drink. Clearly they don’t understand if it wasn’t for us spending money they wouldn’t have a job. Poor management.

Better go to your grandparents and have dinner. Trust me

Seldomly travel southside, but pleasantly surprised by this venue. Good amount of mirrorballs, lasers and a nice vantage point on the top level. The crowd energy from the Infected Mushroom and Megapixel sets was just dripping, throbbing bliss. Don't know what the vibe is on any other given night, but if it's more psy, I could be made a believer.

They need to clean this place up, it is dirty and outdated. It is hot and stuffy in there also ... some air conditioning would help ... It's not still the 80s ffs ?

I did have a great night at Chasers but I do have some feedback that I think would make the venue even better: each time I have gone to see a show here they open the doors 30 mins after they say they will. I'm recovering from a knee injury so having to stand around that much longer ment that I was in pain. The venue could definitely do with some more wheelchair accessibility (lift to balcony/ramp to bar) my friend was in a chair and couldn't get around very well. Also another way of exiting the venue would be great. Took us 15 minutes to get out to door because of the crowd - I can't believe that this would pass a fire safety check...

I’ve never had a problem here before and have had many a good night but last time I went a young girl exited the club and then lay unconscious and choking on her own vomit directly outside the club the bouncers looked on and did nothing… I had to clear her airway and put her in the recovery position and she continued to vomit out onto the pavement (still unconscious) the bouncers then threatened me and told me to walk away as I called 000 and they (3 of them) physically lifted her limp body, legs dragging on the ground, and tried to push her into a cab (which refused her). I was then verbally abused and physically threatened again by a bouncer as I made sure her friends got her water and ordered an Uber home. As I finally walked away the bouncer continued to scream at me from outside the club until I turned the corner … Absolutely disgusting. EDIT: after asking me for a follow up they hung up on me.

Firstly, it's a great venue, I always enjoy myself here. I do have an issue though, the smokers area is basically inside and the smoke carries and the venue has a nasty smell. Really wish the smokers were further away.

It was an amazing experience, the security there was amazing and cared a lot about their guests. Only problem was that they didn’t check ids properly other than that it was an excellent experience. The music was good and the design of the place was good and everything around was easily accessible.

After all the bad things I've heard about this place I decided to go there anyway since nothing else was open. The drinks were so overpriced and staff members were a little rude. Not to mention the heavy-handed security guard I saw practically strangling some poor guy to death on the ground. He literally wasn't even moving 😢. Total downer. Won't be going back. Bad vibes

An outdated, sticky, sweaty and smelly hole that either needs total refurbishment or to just be closed down. Some very rude bar and security staff. Terrible ventilation means that the smell from the smoking area fills the venue. So if you want to walk out smelling like an ashtray then this is the dive for you. It is only good for the ITD events, otherwise I would NEVER go there. I would not recommend this place to anyone.

Iconic venue that’s stood the test of time. Always at the forefront of reinventing nights! Excellent function rooms for hire. Had my 50th at the Moser Room and I highly recommend..

Good venue, it has been around for a long time, unfortunately the crowd that Chapel street attracts is not the best. Great for the more commercial club nights and crowd.

The venue smelt like urine apon first entering; You're able to tell how the rest of the night went. Would not recommend.

Went to see Elyssa Edwards, paid for a meet and greet. Ticket said starts at 7 so we arrived and wasn't told where to go to meet her. So we thought maybe there would be some signs since no one was directing us but there wasn't. We figured out that the meet and greet was upstairs which was cool since the view upstairs was much better but we were asked to leave and moments later the upper level was then opened to the general public we paid more, we should have gotten to atleast stay. Sound system was awful and the Dj played the same 3 songs for an hour or so. Sticky floors with parts of the flooring coming up near the bar. Bar girl that served us was more interested in chatting to her colleague instead of returning our card when paying for drinks. Shot experience.

The best sound system I've experienced in Melbourne so far. Be prepared to inhale second-hand smoke for the entire duration inside. Security are extremely rude and man-handled my passport when checking my ID. At least the bartenders are good.

Scammers! They quoted $20 and charged each of our group $40. Don't trust this place. Avoid!

Overrated place ! The girl at the desk forgot the kindness and she is a liar about the prices and screwed us all, charging us 40 instead of the advertised 20$. Avoid this masquerade !

This place is soon closing down, thanks to the self entitled physical security staff for their lack of respect for patrons and their rudeness. Keep your feet grounded fellas, see you again NOT! The bartenders are fantastic and is the only upside to the overall experience!

Worst place ever !!!! Been to many clubs and this, by far is the worst !! Bouncers were so rude and disrespectful and kept swearing us. They even Shoved us off the entrance. Will never go back to this place ever again!

This is one of those places that isn't a destination in itself - Chasers is the type of venue that's visited for the artist performing there...with patrons tending to depart at the completion of the set.

Not a good venue. Feet stick to the floor throughout the place. Wasnt clean at all. Paid extra for a meet & greet for one of the performers to then be told to go down stairs.. they then opened upstairs and general admission holders were then given the best views. No direction from the staff. Sound system is awful and the dj kept playing over the top of the performer. Same songs on repeat for over an hour.. Tickets said show was from 7pm to 10pm. Lucky we called ahead as we were then told they open at 8. Show didnt end up starting until 10pm. Won't be going back here.

Saw Alyssa Edwards, amazing performance and great venue. Felt it was over capacity though. If there were a fire it wouldn’t have been good.

I had a terrible experience at this club. Not only did they overcharge me by $20, but the music was absolutely awful. I paid $40 to listen to what sounded like a dying cat being run over by a garbage truck. It was so bad that I left after only a few minutes. The atmosphere was dingy and uninviting, and the drinks were overpriced. I would not recommend this club to anyone looking for a fun night out. Save your money and go somewhere else where you can actually enjoy yourself.

This place is by far the best club, lost my phone and they found it and called me it was the best experience like I honestly nearly cried. Such good staff and owners fr 💓💓💓
