We stayed at the hotel (Culture Hotel Villa Capodimonte) from 17 to 18/10/22. They asked us to leave the car key so that they could move our car to their very small car park if necessary. During the night, the car was indeed moved. On 18.10. we got our keys back and found damage that was not present when we arrived at the accommodation. The key was with the hotel staff throughout our stay. As expected, no one felt responsible for the damage. We were told to please contact them afterwards. We were told that the management would take care of it. Several telephone calls and e-mails went unanswered. We were therefore left with all the damage. nothing was offered to us. Because of this disloyalty towards the guest, I cannot recommend this hotel.

Really kind staff and such. There is a free shuttle service to the city center. From which you can visit Napoli in all its beauty. The rooms are a bit dated , but it’s clean which is the most important factor. There is a restaurant inside the hotel in which you can eat a la carte , they have a good inventory of wine and a more than generous menu in the restaurant. The view on the fifth floor is amazing as you can see.

This hotel has definitely seen better days. It has a good location and nice grounds. Unfortunately it’s a little dated and the AC doesn’t really keep the room properly cool. It badly needs some rennovation in every aspect. The solarium rooftop terrace is definitely a nice addition and worth to see. Most likely the highlight of the hotel.

Fantastic view over Napoli. The hotel itself is not new but its taken care of pretty well. Room was cleaned really good and parking on the hotel parking lot is a nice extra. While Napoli is mostly not that nice, the view from the hotel roof is great.

Rooms were slightly outdated, but the room has everything that one might need. Service was great. The location has an amazing view from the top of the mountain. It is a 20 minute walk down the mountain to the city centre, which was fine for me. But keep that in mind if you plan on walking from the hotel to the city multiple times a day. The fitness area, like the rooms, was outdated and not very practical. It could benefit from some separate weights instead of only cardio

Terrible experience, terrible hospitality. We stayed 2 days, I've never seen anything like this in my life! the room is dusty, Insects are constantly coming in from outside, a few staff are rude, specially breakfast was very cold i was shocked, eggs look like they've been taken out of the freezer we couldn’t eat with my husband, cheese is not like cheese. There are too many sweets, the only thing we could eat was eggs and that was ice cold. The carpet in the hallway made me sneeze all the time i don’t think it’s clean absolutely… The hotel does not deserve price. I was happy to see the beauty of the garden, but unfortunately the service is terrible. I never recommend.

Good experience for short time stays! Rooms are spacious, clean and modern. Beds and showers were great but the rest of the hotel is in need of a facelift. Bear in mind that the hotel is located on top of a hill so you will need to climb the stairs or take a taxi from downtown. Service isn’t great but we didn’t mind as we stayed for one night only!

Bed quilt with large stains (blood?). Floor lamp and desk lamp did not work. Waiter at in-house restaurant stunk like cigarettes/nicotine while taking orders and carrying food to the tables. Credit card transactions are automatically converted from euros into US$, at their own arbitrary rate, plus 3.36% mark up, without any notice whatsoever. When questioned, the person at the reception who ran the transaction, G______i, had the audacity to state “you are making a big deal for just a few extra euros”. I guess he is missing the concept of professionalism, hospitality, transparency, and honesty.

Clean pretty nice rooms. Kind of like rooms in general, but the bath room is fairly 80s style. Moderately fancy but a bit worn. Adjustable air conditioner. Pretty cool roof terrace where you can bring drinks and enjoy the view. Location is pretty cool on top of a mountain; that has some upsides and downsides. Pretty quiet, except for the occasional air plane from the near by airport. Great view over the central city with Vesuvius in the background. For being so close to the center, it's fairly remote. Can be hard to get a taxi from the hotel at times and also find a taxi willing to go to the hotel. Arrived on a Saturday, and saw a tour of Pompeii and Vesuvius that we wanted to go on. They couldn't get us that tour. Told them we wanted to go after we had dinner Saturday, so too late to book for Saturday, so Monday it is. Checked in how it was going with the tour after dinner on Saturday and only got a "they have not gotten back to us". Monday morning still had no response on we asked how about tomorrow (Tuesday)? After dinner and still no response. I assumed that they could make the tours they have in the reception happen but they failed with that. We managed to get a tour of Pompeii online ourselves, but missed out on Vesuvius. On top of that experience, we couldn't get a taxi to the Centrale for the train to Pompeii for our tour. Also they don't have power plug conversion to the common European plugs for laptop. Other than that, the staff was friendly and seemingly tried their best to give good service.

Hotel was dirty, air conditioning did not work, shower flooded the floor every time we used it, breakfast was cold, extremely outdated motel, minimal lighting, and airplanes flew over constantly. Coffee was good. Booking. Com overcharge the advertised rate and we regret the time in Napoli at this hotel. Good luck as the people were great.

The location is a bit out of the main City, so it's also not so noisy. The view of the Rooftop is amazing. The rooms are old but ok, the service is also ok. The Restaurant is quite good with a big variety of food. But also here one not so nice thing, the breakfast. Loveless and even the scrambled eggs should be heated up in the microwave.

WiFi does not work in the ground floor rooms. The response at the reception was come to the lobby. Breakfast is cheap but low quality. Room is ok.

The hotel is the Jewel of the Capodimonte. It's great. The neighborhood around it is covered in trash, but this little gated area has a nice garden and a glorious Rooftop Solarium. Nice views from that high. AC worked well. 10 min walk to the nearest pizza place which was great and near the museum. But most other stuff is down some torture stairs and through a zip zaging cobblestone trash littered neighborhood.

Hotel is on a hill with great views and nice amenities. Hotel stuff is great front desk and Restaurant manager. Secure parking with nice garden, terraces and walking area. Ample and clean rooms. Not very modern but this is part of the charm on my point of view. Close to the airport by car and again Awesome staff very willing to help in any way the can, from calling a taxi, arranging private tours and dinner options. Thanks to Valentina at the front desk and Salvatore at the restaurant.

Please stay somewhere else. The rooms have MOLD, the air conditioning doesn’t work, the food is actually terrible. It feels like a legit horror movie. I’d give 1 star but the staff was nice.

Horrible hotel ever! Don’t stay here I had a mistake to setting the date, they reject to change the date even if i called them as soon as it happened and later Agoda also tried to help me but they rejected again. They made me waste my money. The hotel is really isolated and room is outdated. Also it wasn’t accessible at all although i rent a car. Finally i realized why they rejected to change and cancel the booking because no one cannot satisfied with this horrible hotel. They ruined my vacation either my valuable moment with my family.

The hotel has some great features- beautiful gardens, great view from the rooftop patio...etc. The location is a little inconvenient- far from the center, streets leading to the hotel not pleasant for walking or driving. The rooms wre adequate for an old building but certainly not the most comfortable. The showers , for example, are tight and water leaks on the the outside area no matter how tight you shut the door

There was a mistake in the reservation dates and the hotel refused to change our night for a week later even if they had the same room available. No refunds and no change on dates, be warned !

Lovely boutique hotel. Rooms are little tired but perfectly clean and plenty of space

Feel bad writing a bad review because the staff is genuine and friendly. The hotel however needs A LOT of work. Rooms and bathrooms are old. Visible mold in the hallways and bathrooms. The breakfast is lethal... Tried the breakfast the first day we were here and almost puked. Don’t even waste your time with it just go elsewhere. We walked into the restaurant later one night and saw the breakfast pastries already sitting out for tomorrow’s breakfast, uncovered. No wonder why it was all stale. Location is way up on a mountain with narrow roads away from the city of Napoli. No where near “4 star” standards. At best 2.

We stayed here prior to flying from Naples Airport. Immaculately clean if a little dated. Staff were excellent and we enjoyed a great meal in the restaurant

We stayed in the tower b&b behind this hotel. The views of Naples from this place are excellent.

The hotel itself is okay, perhaps 3 star will be more aligned with the amenities and overall quality. On the positive side, the rooms are spacious and tidy. On the negative side, breakfast is quite simple, and the service could be friendlier. But the worst aspect is the location, too far away from the city centre.

Friendly. Nice hotel. Private parking is a huge plus. However, AC was not functional in the slightest sense of the word. 5 degrees hotter outside than in room. No fans available for use.

Nice location. The place needs better maintenance. Not a very friendly management. Difficult access if you drive yourself.

Great beds, great pillows. One of the cleanest rooms I've been in. Very busy hotel. Oasis in a grotty area. Loved our room 322 (twin double beds with balcony) Loved being able to take our own wine onto the fabulous roof 'lounge'. View was amazing. Staff friendly (when you could find them) Restaurant (photo of the 'soup') & breakfast so-so We walked up the hill to what we thought was an independent restaurant (photo) but it turned out to be the hotel. Shuttle bus took you to centre at 10:30am but returned 8:30pm. Taxi back cost only ~9euro They park your car and move it ALOT

Enjoyed spacious, cool room. Food was delicious. Views from the roof terrace amazing. Would have given 5 stars except it felt like it was only just open for business. Seats outside were dirty. No sun shades were open. Seemed to have a shortage of ice. Local area was a little intimidating. Would recommend though.
