What an amazing small piece of heaven 4 minutes from the heart of TLV. Stunning park with beautiful views towards Tel Aviv and the surrounding area. The plants and trees are beautifully kept and there are some very unique specimens from around the world. It's simply incredible to think that this place used to be a landfill site. Unbelievable transformation. The park has many paved hiking trails so can be great for children scooters and bikes. Beautiful and well-kept park, free admission and free parking, beautiful and amazing blooms all around, clean air, there are seating areas around, a spectacular view of Gush Dan and Tel Aviv in particular. Learning about transforming a garbage hill into a beautiful park, is a worthwhile experience!

I can only say good things about a park :-) This park is currently being extended to include different ecosystems and terrain. Right now the park has orderly walkways and a winter pond. They are planning an area for birds and small, local wildlife. It also has a children’s playground. My friend and I walked around quite a bit, as you can see from the pics. We also had a bite at one of the picnic tables that the park offers. All in all - a wonderful experience.

Beautiful parc! Lots of places for picnick, beautiful views, nature is fabulous. May be hot in summer, shadow is not everywhere, but it's so amazing here!

Very nice park with lots of grass and picnic areas. The park has many paved hiking trails so can be great for children scooters and bikes. The park is lacking playing grounds and there are not so many shaded areas. The park contains a small kiosk, great for coffee, ice-cream and some snacks.

Very nice park. Very quite (no fire allowed), nice ponds and viewes. Does lack shade so better arrive early to get a good spot. Also parking gets crowded very fast. There's an observation post nearby with great views to Gush Dan. I just wish they had a large playground for the kids.

We take our kids to visit this park at least twice a year. Each time we could see some new development. Always a great place for kids on the weekend to learn and to relax.

Stunning park with beautiful views towards Tel Aviv and the surrounding area. The plants and trees are beautifully kept and there are some very unique specimens from around the world. It's simply incredible to think that this place used to be a landfill site. Unbelievable transformation. There is also a small coffee shop in the middle of the park by the lake and plenty of toilets around the park. This is a beautiful park with some really unique viewing areas.

We have been twice recently. Once during the day and we wandered around in the lovely gardens and paths. We then took a group on Twilight Tour with a guide. It was a great success. We saw the sunset over Tel Aviv from the lookout and saw all the lights coming on - magical. The open area below the hill, out to Tel Aviv, is not yet developed but is great for walks, runs and cycling. The plan is to lay it out with paths, shaded areas and 2 lakes.

Nice and well groomed park. The best thing about it is the fact that it is on a hill with only flat land in each direction, offering views of the Tel Aviv metro area. There are places with great views, but most of the high ground is covered by an uninviting gravel parking lot. The park itself is in a lower area with no open views. There is a building that looks like a restaurant, but nothing was active there, which is a shame. Well also benefit from more shade (there are trees, but it could be better)

On the top of a man-made hill which is actually made of millions of tons of home garbage from central Israel, they have built a beautiful park which is a temple of recycling. Beautiful place with observation on Tel Aviv

Lovely lovely place!! The kids playground is really nice!! Too bad there’s not enough shadow there.. Try to come early since it’s gets crowded on weekends and the parking lot is really small

We were there watching a live show. Very nice location. Get there before sunset to see a great view. The venue is very nice and convenient, and a show on top of a hill always has that little extra something

Ariel Sharon Park, located in Israel, is a remarkable testament to environmental transformation. Covering approximately 2,000 acres, this former landfill site has been revitalized into a captivating urban park, showcasing the power of sustainability and rejuvenation. The park pays homage to its namesake, the late Prime Minister Ariel Sharon, by embodying his commitment to preserving nature. Visitors are greeted with lush green spaces, recreational facilities, and scenic walking paths that wind through the park's diverse ecosystems. The park's design successfully balances modern amenities with nature conservation, offering a serene escape from the urban hustle. The highlight is undoubtedly the "Mount Atzmon," a man-made hill offering panoramic views of Tel Aviv's skyline and the Mediterranean Sea. Ariel Sharon Park's commitment to ecological preservation is evident through its extensive recycling efforts, waste management practices, and the protection of indigenous flora and fauna. It stands as a model for repurposing disused spaces, transforming them into invaluable assets for communities and the environment. While not without its challenges, including the intricate balance between recreational and ecological needs, Ariel Sharon Park serves as an inspiration for sustainable urban planning worldwide. Its story is one of rejuvenation, reminding us of the potential to heal and harmonize with our surroundings.

On top of an old garbage mountain there is a great place used for concerts, an awesome location with cool wind for a great summer evening concert. This is also a recycling plant and power station that makes power from the garbage that decompose there.

We visited here on Saturday morning and if was very fun. Take into consideration that there are 2 gates to Ariel Sharon Park. This one you will not find playgrounds for kids. However, the vegetation, trees 🌳, flowers 💐 and grass are very nice.

Really nice and well treated place. Considering the fact it was previously a waste dump it is remarkable how the managed to turn it to this ecological beauty. The only problem is that there isn't enough shade. Might get real hot in the summer. Also, it seems like you cannot BBQ here so please make note of that. Make sure to check the tel Aviv panoramic view at the western side of the park.

Beautiful park, green and shady corners. On Saturdays, disabled people are not allowed to enter to inner parking lot with their vehicle. On a day with good visibility, a very beautiful view of Tel Aviv.
