    I wish I could leave less stars. They promised to not charge tax as I'm on a student visa (volunteering teaching Israeli kids since you asked). But if there's one thing I know about Israeli car rental places it's that they're always looking to screw you. So they charged us, despite our protests and evidence! 0/10 would not recommend to my worst enemy.

    On-site service. I wanted to take a car with Mo 118 for 8 days, no one answers at the Petach-Tikva branch. Good luck with such a service.

    Excellent service, amazing car. Rented a Ford Fiesta and got a free upgrade to a Seat Leon. The staff were really nice and everything went smooth. Will rent from them again whenever necessary.

    If you want to ruin your vacation this is the place to go Forgive me for the lengthy review but you need to beware. Planned to visit Israel for Passover 2022, not many tourists there after the pandemic. Booked an SUV range car from Europcar Israel website two months ahead. Europcar and Albar both seemed reputable companies. All the insurances (CDW,LDW,THW,LIA) were included in the quote. Same day I also called Europcar Israel to make sure the order is in place. When we arrived, there is no car for us. The half asleep clerk tells us it happened because of global car shortage and there is nothing they can do. Their best answer is “sorry I can't help you”. Well that's the whole point of reserving a car in advance isn't it? They offered us a Kia Picanto which is not big enough for all the family and our luggage. After lots of arguing with all the employees there including the manager they agree to give us a very old station wagon for which we had to wait to arrive. After another hour and a half of waiting, as we don't have any other choice and all other rental agencies were already pre-booked, we take the filthy car with duck tape on the windshield. I have double checked with the manager that the price stays as booked. 10 days later when we returned the car at the same place, the clerk says your price didn't include any insurance and we have to pay almost twice the price. When I showed them the booking they just ignore and say they don't care. I asked for a printed Tax Invoice, they say their computer system is down so they can't charge me and give me one. As they still hold my credit card details they will charge me some time later and they will call me. I disagree but as usually their best answer is “Sorry I can't help you”. I continued overseas and waited for their call 24/7 for a few days, which never happened. Instead my card was charged the increased amount (almost double). When I called them I heard the same answer as usual "sorry I can't help you". And of course I never got the tax invoice which is totally illegal in Israel. They very well understand that visitors from overseas don't have the time or the power to fight them, so they can do whatever they want.

They didn't answer, belittled, mixed up, didn't pay attention. But I try not to get dirty, so I didn't respond. Now it turns out that what the sales representative promised us, that the vehicle will receive all the conditions given by an official importer, in particular the battery warranty extension. We told him explicitly that it is very important to us and without the option to extend the warranty we are not interested in buying, that is why we also gave up on a certain vehicle that he offered us, but for the vehicle in question, he said that we would have a battery warranty. explicitly Then we looked for them to understand why we don't have a car book, and they rejected us back and forth, and that's your problem, you'll get it right (that's it! We bought a product for NIS 140,000, yes? Treated like we bought chewing gum). Now it turns out that he simply lied to us. There is no possibility to extend the warranty on the vehicle or the battery. The company disavows the whole matter and denies any such promise, but we have WhatsApp recordings that assured us of the above promises... In short, don't get too close. And by the way, Alber's "customer service". So there is no such thing. It is important that you know before you make a deal with Alber, that they do not have human customer service. Only by email. So called another level of... customer service. disgrace
