Recently
moved
to
the
area
and
signed
up
here
due
to
it
being
the
closest
gym
available,
it’s
well
equipped
in
terms
of
stations
and
machines
but
lacking
in
terms
of
specialty
bars
(this
may
be
a
gripe
more
specific
to
me)
the
larger
gripe
is
that
I
was
told
off
for
having
my
bag
on
me,
albeit
after
later
inspection
I
found
out
this
was
part
of
PureGym
rules,
the
woman
explained
I’m
allowed
to
effectively
carry
all
the
contents
of
my
bag
however
actual
possession
of
the
bag
is
against
the
rules.
I
feel
that
I
can’t
stress
enough
how
frustrating
this
is
and
I
believe
it’s
part
of
what
gives
PureGym
it’s
beginner
and
antienthusiast
reputation.
I
feel
like
I
can’t
iterate
enough
how
annoying
it
is
that
I
am
allowed
to
carry:
lifting
shoes,
knee
sleeves,
wrist
wraps,
liquid
chalk,
smelling
salts,
a
grippy
bench
mat
to
counteract
PureGyms
notoriously
slidey
benches
(seriously
if
you
have
any
aspirations
of
a
big
bench
and
you
workout
here
I
reccomend
buying
one
from
howmuchyabench),
water
bottle,
lifting
straps,
weightlifting
belt
and
resistance
bands,
all
on
my
person
but
as
soon
as
it’s
in
a
bag
there’s
an
issue.
This
gym
is
so
close
to
being
enthusiast
friendly
rather
than
just
a
stepping
stone
for
beginners,
a
bag
specific
area
in
the
free
weights
area
(as
I
understand
laying
bags
around
can
cause
clutter)
and
a
honestly
a
deadlift
bar
(with
some
way
of
making
it
clear
to
people
this
is
specifically
for
deadlifts)
would
make
this
one
of
the
best
gyms
in
Scotland
