The best Greek souvlaki in Melbourne, maybe even Australia. You must try this place if you like souvlaki! Even if you don't, you still need to try it 😎 The meat was so tender and Juicy! Not fatty and no chunks of gristle at all. We had the mixed gyros & chicken gyros plates. Both were absolutely delicious and very generous servings. We also had the Halloumi chips W tirokafteri which were amazing! We'll be coming back to try the pita wraps next. Service by the young waitress on the evening was on point too. A hole in the wall greek street food in the heart of Hawthorn. Had the platter of mkxed gyros and calamari. Both were very nice; the calamari were perfectly cooked and the gyros meat were not overly salty either. Service is prompt enough. The place is very small and hence they can’t seat many. Sister restaurant to Kolonaki in Malvern I believe as their menu are pretty much identical.

Food is amazing! The mixed gryo with chips and a small salad is really well with it, full of flavor and succulent. All expertly packed for a great takeaway experience. Service is great, quick and efficient. There is also a dining area if you want sit down and enjoy. The orange cake was sweet, moist and a really awesome desert. I guess at almost $8 for the cake its kinda a once in a while treat. I would definitely give the place a try! Enjoy!

Plaka's is one of my favourite spots to take loved ones to eat. They never disappoint with their quality. My go to is the lamb platter with the grain salad and spicy sauce, mouth is watering thinking about. Make sure you try this place out!

oh. my. god. the veggie souvlaki is amazing. The fries, the fritters, spicy feta dip, it all tastes amazing, very filling! Will definitely go back again and make it a regular treat-yourself thing. 🥰

Super delicious Gyros, I’ve ever had!!! Also super friendly owner and hard working wonderful staff!! I had lamb Gyros with halloumi cheese, sweet potato chips and their delicious sweets, my husband had Chicken Gyros and chips. Everything tastes on spot,super fresh, meat was flavourful!! I’m super happy that they opened the shop close to my place!! Can’t wait to have another ones!! Strongly recommend!!

amazing little greek store, it is a shame it isn’t on the main strip, the lunchbox mixed gyro was perfection, good portions super tasty and succulent meat.
