Sadly after about 3 years of supporting Nosh, I've to say that their food is not worth paying for. I've always ordered their Peking duck slices because of how delicious it is, even after they removed the pre-made bowls from their menu resulting in having to $3-6 more for the same thing. But yesterday, I went back to Nosh and ordered pan seared duck but when I went home in Melbourne's lockdown to eat (time from restaurant to meal was < 10min), I got hardened duck bits that were dry and tasteless, as if they had re-refrigerated food they could not sell and warmed it up in a microwave. Sauce was scanty and barely enough. Salad portion was dismal. Even I could make better food than this. Wanted to email nosh to seek an explanation but no contact form is available. Hoping Nosh can compensate for this. Edit: in my email correspondence with Nosh, they have made it a point to clarify that I had not asked for a base, and the salad amount was reasonable due to my not adding on another salad/rice/other base. For the sake of transparency, I am stating this and readers can decide if what looks like the empty half of my bowl should be justified with a base. Secondly, Nosh also stated that "(they) entirely trust your judgement on the duck", which begets my concern about what they recognise to be adequate standards of food. Readers can again decide if looking at this bowl of duck if you would find palatable to eat, regardless of the amount. Finally, Nosh also made it point to state their opinion about how customers should be posting reviews, and that we would need to "agree to disagree.. (on) how to approach providing constructive feedback", almost as if to insinuate that constructive feedback cannot be achieved if it rates them 1-star on a public forum. Safe to say, Nosh has definitely lost a customer.

Short trip to Melbourne over the holiday period - Lunch at @noshaustralia on Little Collins St! Always reliable for a good feed ☺️. . Salmon aburi poke bowl - Flame-seared Tasmanian salmon on coconut turmeric rice, locally-grown baby spinach with roasted sweet potato, charred capsicum and creamy roasted sesame sauce: I loved the aburi salmon! It was very nicely torched and was super tender 😍😍. . Nori tacos: such nice crispy nori tacos! Such yummy fillings ☺️☺️. - Spicy mayo salmon taco - Tamarind prawn taco - Creamy chicken taco . Eggplant bites: you just can't go wrong with fried eggplant! The dipping sauce was slightly on the sweet side but good.

ORDERED: 🍛 Sashimi Poke Party (small): Fresh Tasmanian salmon sashimi on coconut turmeric rice, locally grown baby spinach with roasted sweet potato, charred capsicum and creamy roasted sesame sauce ($15.05) REVIEW: Nosh's brand of sashimi poke bowl is delicious, compared to their very close competitor outside on the main street *cough 🐟🍚*. Both have their pros and cons, but for the sashimi, Nosh is the winner. Thoughtfully fragrance coconut turmeric rice adds more dimension to an otherwise typically lacklustre dish. It's elevated with a creamy roasted sesame sauce - adding some nice earthy nutty flavours without taking away from the freshness of the spinach and sashimi. 🩷 Unfortunately I couldn't taste much of the roasted sweet potato, but I did really enjoy the savoury onion-esque flavour from the shallots. Inside Collins quater, the Nosh staff are an efficient machine churning out orders during weekday lunches. Although they're fast, you'll benefit from getting there slightly before 12 where all the office workers come down and the insane queue starts. Also very sad that they charge credit card surcharge 🥹.

It's a nice place for healthy bowls. You can pick your bowl from a range of suggested recipes or you can simply make your own bowl, choosing the ingredients from its rich open bar. I also tried wagyu beef taco, it is very very good. Duck bowl is a bit spicy though. Price performance is fair. Overall, I'd recommend this place.

Ordered some tacos which arrived over 20mins late. Additionally, the wagyu nori taco I ordered was all fat. I wouldn't recommend Nosh as their menu items are highly overpriced, delivery time can be longer and at times food quality consistency can vary (as evidenced by the all fat wagyu nori taco I received - very hard to chew so didn't end up swallowing the meat). Pretty disgusting. Couldn't even swallow the meat and didn't want to as it was all fat...it's probably best to stay away from the wagyu beef but other items might be ok.

If you're in Melbourne and looking for a truly special dining experience, I highly recommend checking out Nosh. This contemporary Japanese restaurant offers something truly unique. They expertly combine Japanese-inspired flavors with fresh, locally sourced produce to create dishes that are bursting with deliciousness. What sets Nosh apart is their dedication to using the freshest ingredients and preparing everything from scratch. You can taste the difference in every bite. The menu at Nosh is a delight for any food lover. They have carefully crafted a range of Japanese-inspired dishes that cater to various tastes. One dish that really stands out is their healthy Tofu bowl. It's filled with nutritious ingredients and accompanied by an array of fresh vegetables that add a burst of flavor and texture. It's a wholesome and satisfying choice for those who appreciate both taste and wellness. One of the things that makes dining at Nosh truly enjoyable is their exceptional staff. The team is friendly, attentive, and genuinely cares about ensuring you have a memorable dining experience. Their warm hospitality creates a positive and inviting atmosphere that makes you feel right at home. So, if you're craving a modern Japanese dining experience in Melbourne, I urge you to give Nosh a try. With their focus on fresh ingredients, scratch-made dishes, and an outstanding menu, it's a restaurant that promises to impress your taste buds and leave you with a lasting impression.

Ordered the sashimi lovers. Salmon and tuna were fresh and delicious. Generous serving of green beans which felt nice and healthy. All around great quality and healthy meal! Well done nosh galleria!!

Too much sauce drizzled over my beautiful salmon ruining it. The regular size is probably misleading as I didn't see the bowl size before I ordered. The food and taste was average. Better options elsewhere in the city.

Fresh ingredients and tasty but bit disappointed with the proportion size. I ordered the Build your own large bowl with plenty of extras: edamame, charred capsicum strips, 63 degree egg (a must), avocado, cucumber and seaweed salad with 2 protein balls. As you can see in the photo it quite a big bowl but the extras are little... I had too much brown rice ratio to toppings which was disappointing. Overall good poke but for the price you pay for the extras better to go woolies and buy it there (cheaper) and add it to this.

First time trying Nosh. Paid $3 for the bigger size but guessed I got something even smaller then the small sized bowl. Just look at my friend’s and mine, and all those fill to the brim stock photos. I paid $16 for this and had to get another lunch... Oh and the staff missed out on the sauces too so the bowl was just plain...

It is a healthy option and still tasty! The combination of the sauce and base is great, service is not too bad. During busy time may need to wait, but overall a good waiting time for busy people during lunch rush (tips: searing products may take more time! I usually use Ritual to order in advance) Recommend the poke party!

If I want to have poke bowl, my first choice will be Nosh Galleria. I just like the variety they have and how they season the food and give some boring ingredients like broccoli more flavor and texture.

decent food and nice staff 😊. i usually get a bowl with salmon in it and everytime it varies in quality, usually its just so so but every once its nice and fresh and makes me wanna bbbbust. However my most recent bowl made my doodoohole run a marathon, a painful one at that, not sure if it was the salmon or something else in it...

Usually it's fine for a healthy lunch on a work day but today I received wildly inconsistent and poor quality avocado. Which, if you insist on charging extra for you should probably ensure that it isn't so oxidised it's blackened and looks like a tonsil stone Tony Abbott would suck down.

Came for the GF options, Something people really must be aware of is that the FOOD is just NOT TASTY. Felt really ripped off with the 7.50 tacos just stuffed with rice and chosen meat, with just a basic sauce. It was not anywhere close to being a complete dish - even for a taco side.

I tried the salmon bowl. It was really good but would have loved a little more sauce (I know now for next time). I did also find the regular portion on the small size so I'd size up :) Otherwise all the aspects of the bowl were great, loved the seared salmon especially!

Fusion food. At the first glance of menu looks like Japanese food but ingredients turmeric rice and tacos (seaweed). Thought rice bowl would be hot but the rice kinda lukewarm. With the money you pay and what you get - so so

Nosh did the first thing right by ensuring that customers that are looking for healthy variety can find them by googling exactly that. The restaurant's decor is simple and functional. Decorated with plain natural wooden chairs and table, with enough plants to not feel too 'fast foodish' and give a feel of "healthiness". Unfortunately, you walk in, the music is extremely loud that you have to amplify your voice a few more decibels than you might want to. The person who greets you or the lack there of, seems uninterested in, better yet bothered by your visit to their place of work Lol. We decided that we wanted to try this place and so we went to bother her a little more by asking her if we could sit where ever we liked and the procedures. Anyway, we decided what we wanted after a few minutes and by now she was having her meal, which I am assuming is why she didnt quite care when we walked in. As far as she was concerned she was going on or was on break. We proceeded to the cashier and there came a young man who was enthusiastic and all things true hospitality is meant to be; day and night were the pair. Since we wanted to have our meals and have a conversation, we kindly asked for the music volume to be slightly adjusted and it was done. Later on, she returned behind the counter and went to turn back through music up. He advised her of the guests request to which she shrugged and turned the music right back up to an uncomfortable level for patrons to have a good conversation. Note to employees - the music you plain in your establishment is not for you but the guest! The food was great; beautifully decorated with many good flavours and colours. It was delicious and worth going to the restaurant for. If you can look pass the bad attitude of someone you are paying to provide you that said service!

Really good food, even if a bit pricey. The most abysmally pathetic dash of sauce in the bowls though, probably to get you to pay extra for more sauce. I usually do but when I forget it's a very dry meal, when I do get extra it tends to be drowning. I just want a normal amount of sauce aye

(Translated by Google) Near the Royal Arcade, the restaurant has few seats but is refreshing and clean. The meal is the concept of bibimbap and risotto! I ordered the sashimi tuna cubes. The brown rice tastes too hard. The sauce is a bit salty (purely a personal diet). I always drink water at the end of the meal. I can only order cold drinks without hot soup! It’s the first meal of rice in Melbourne for three days! If you miss rice or Chinese food, try it! Loved this eatery. Came here with husband and kids of all ages and they all ate their meals without complaints! The food was full of flavours and healthy, plus very filling so we were not hungry for a long time afterwards. Salmon (raw or seared), Edamame beans , seaweed tortillas (yes), salad, chicken, fried shallots - everything was very fresh and so tasty. Not pricey, very good value. Would eat here every day! Highly recommended.

First went here a couple of years ago when it opened. Located just up from Elizabeth St in Little Collins St their wide range of bowl mixes are sure to contain the ingredients you like and choose. I tried a set item, Peek-ing Duck that was marked with three chillis but it was not all that spicy for a spice lover. Non - chilli lovers would probably say that was as hot as they would want
