First tried for this Traditional Greek restaurant for four adults: White bait good for starter. Ordered mix grill for 2 and plus Greek salad. Good experience and yummy dinner. Definitely will visit them again 😎

Had the meat platter for 4 and was impressive to look at. But kind of disappointed it didn’t come with a side of salad, considering the place next door does it as standard. The portions were generous. Some meats were a little dry, particularly the skewers and the meat patty. The chips were a bit soggy and lacking some crunch. Some great beer options though, highly recommend Fix beer.

I ordered a Mixed Gyro Plate and a Meat Me Berger and Chips. I love Meat Me Bergers🍔 The patties are juicy and the combination with the bun is amazing. The Mixed Gyro Plate is also fantastic, but I feel that the amount of Greek salad is small compared to the amount of meat. I had a happy lunch with a friend.

Came here as a family and we had a wonderful time. Great food (even though I'm a vegetarian, the burger was nice along with the size dishes). Great and prompt service. The waiters greeted us and showed appreciation for our little daughter. Portion sizes are good for the price. The only downside is the music is quite loud, but understandable for a casual dining area. We would probably come back again for Greek food!

Yum!! Everything was delish!! Great place to come with friends... Next time we'll definitely share these plates as the servings are huge... so will halve the food bill and double the cocktail bill as the daiquiris were also ssoooo good! 👍

Have had the pleasure of both dining in and takeaway experiences with Meat Me. Their food is beautiful and tender, smoked to perfection and plenty generous on the pita bread. A very popular establishment with the Oakleigh locals and outsiders alike.

Meat Me Souvlakeri are one of the places we had to go back multiple times. Large variety of meats to choose from, all cooked to perfection. Everything is juicy, tender and full of flavour. Also love the chargrill type of taste. Chips are amazing and it will definitely fill up your stomach.

First time here. Came on the recommendation of a mate. Lunch on a Tuesday. Service was pleasant, but no conversation. Not much atmosphere, but still ok. Ordered the Mixed gyro plate. Meat was very tasty, pita bread soft and fresh, salad a little small, for me to add something to each piece of bread. The chips were pretty good, crisp, not soggy. Over all a very good meal. $30 with a order of coke. Definitely be back.

Nice atmosphere and good service. Food was great. It took them some time to get the food but I guess they are busy. We found a table with no bre booking, that was a Tuesday night !

A beautiful meal here and well worthwhile when in Oakleigh for Greek meat at its best. This is a third time here and the other two times I forgot to review as, well I was hungry. We had a group of 12 and chose the right place for this. Right in the heart of the Oakleigh dining area, Meat Me is the best at Greek style cooking of all meat being chicken, pork, and lamb. The atmosphere is lively and the place is humming with sites, people watching and the aroma of bbq and great Greek cuisine. We were seated with a wonderful street view and served by Laura (I hope that’s right) and Manny. Both friendly, quick to serve and went out of their way to make our evening perfect. We ordered the saganaki, grilled octopus, zucchini as entree. For mains we ordered two of the two person platters and one three person platter. Not a fault for the lot from the size (proper Greek sizes so if you’re a big eater it’s perfect), drink accompaniments, the venue and service. All up a great experience and most definitely a place to eat when in Oakleigh. Big shout out to our hosts/servers in Manny and Laura who were great with the whole group and us.

Delicious 😋 We ordered mix grill for 3. The dish gives a mix of chicken, pork and lamb grill plus pita bread, chips and dips. The food portion was great too. Friendly guys and environment.

Sadly we won't be back. Ordered the Mixed Gyros Platter. Overpriced for what you get. With the undersized portion of meat on the platter, the lamb was flavoured with what seemed to be only salt and the chicken was full of fatty pieces. The Greek salad was very small and consisted of a lot of onion, with a bit of cucumber and tomato and a tiny cube of feta. The service was quick and the space was clean, but unfortunately the food was worth the visit.

The food was amazing and was filling. However, their service was poor. They didn't ask about how are food was one served or if we required anything else, so I found that quite rude. Great as fast food, not so much as a restaurant.

I have tried many many Greek restaurants, I rate this one on the mid to high end range of the 3 ⭐️ rating, I have been coming here for years and in the early days they had a lot of improvement and they have been working on it this time round we came was good and standard Greek food, coming here was nice and we enjoyed as much as we could I was definitely impressed by the quality at this recent visit :)

Loved it. Felt like I was in food heaven. Everything was perfect. Service was top-notch. Had saganaki, mixed gyro plate, calamari, and mixed dips. Meat was so tender and flavourful. The dips were amazing and had so much flavor. Saganaki was like heaven on a plate. We will be back.

Three of us dined here on Friday night. We shared saganaki, spicy sausage, one lamp gyros plate and one chicken plate. The saganaki was delicious, the spicy sausage was good, though not as spicy as expected. The chips were very good however we were disappointed with the lamb as it wasn't as flavoursome as we'd hoped. It lacked the taste of being cooked over charcoal. The chicken was extremely disappointing. It too had very little flavour and it came in slices stuck together, just not appealing at all. The service was prompt, efficient and friendly despite being busy. It's a popular spot but unfortunately didn't meet our expectations.

The food was really nice, the atmosphere was pleasant. However, we asked for hot water as it was cold outside so we would like hot water to drink and got charged for it, we were not really happy about that

Its a go place for us. The best around this area or entire Melbourne🤣 Great portion of serving. Its delicious. Service is good. Efficient!! You wont go wrong here.

This food was absolutely fire cannot lie we got the 4 person pack that came with fire gryos, fire pita, fire tzatziki and more. Not only that the portions were extreme value and could probably feed 5-6 normal people. Also very reasonable price for the quality of food.

Often visit the restaurant. All good taste good and big size. Ideal for family party.

It was quite the meat fest at Meat Me. The gyros open plates were generous portions and bursting with flavour. 🤌🏻 🇬🇷 We also ordered the Chargrilled Octopus as entree - the smokiness and lemon drizzle of the dish was unbelievable.

They deliver the Greek food quality. When I feel like meat is one of my first choices, not to mention you get to immerse yourself in the European Oakleigh atmosphere while dining here. Been a few times and definitely planning to be back.

Love this restaurant, love the food here, love the staff and thier lovely sweet service. Two plate enough for three ppl, really large portion.

Always come here now and then, first time dropping a review. Gud size, no complaints on meal. The little salad is quite refreshing, sauce was really nice as well. Some of the chips though, super soft and almost soggy. Food: 4 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

I came here for late lunch around 2:30pm. We seat at outside and overall is good and clean. I ordered fried calamari and mixed pita. Both were okay nice warm and calamari is soft and crispy but chips was soggy. And pita wrap is okay too but bread was a little bit tough.

Fabulous space, great vibe, attentive staff, delicious food and refreshing drinks including a great spot for sunshine, a breeze and people watching. What more could you ask for? This should be on your list of places to visit while in Melbourne. You will not be disappointed. Portion sizes are large. Enjoy.

Hmm interesting to be honest. I was expecting a bit more I guess for the cost and also the big hype. We ordered the dolmades, chargrilled octopus and open plate gyros. The dolmades were not the best I've eaten before but don't have much to compare so it was okay I guess. The octopus was good and had the charred flavour but just overall lacked the oopmh for the cost of what we ordered. The portion sizes for both were small. The open plate was okay. The chips were actually so bad. Just dry and lacked salt or seasoning. The meat was okay but overall wasn't a stand out either. The pita bread was soft and nice. The salad that came with the dish was very bare bones but okay. The tzatziki was the redeeming factor out of everything. Overall everything was average. Probably would try other places next time to compare.

We had an excellent meal here. We got a mixed (chicken, lamb, pork) Gyros plate each and it was super delicious. The meat was seasoned and grilled perfectly, the chicken with its Crispy skin was my favourite. The Greek salad and tzatziki tasted nice and authentic, the pita bread was good. The chips were ok, i think they should have cooked a bit longer as they werent really crispy. We also had a Saganaki and it was delicious. The serving size especially the amount of meat was very generous, I think me and my partner could have shared a single portion and be satisfied. But this way we had some leftovers to take home which was nice too! We'll be back 🍽

Whether you get the great value pita or decide to splurge and get the grilled platters, you’re guaranteed to enjoy great quality food! My personal favourite is sharing the mix grill for 3 so you can share it with friends and family. One thing to keep in mind is that service varies greatly on who’s on shift. Generally it’s great but there are times where a staff member is really standoffish.

If you are a lover of meat, this is the place to go. The meat was super flavorful. Highly recommend this place. The restraunt is also situated in a greek locality with many options for greek dessert nearby. We ordered the mix grill for 2 which was plenty for our family of 4.

Had a big table of 15 for my birthday. The food was excellent, the staff were very pleasant and very welcoming. Even as it gets a bit chaotic with a large table, they didn't have any issues accommodating us and we had a great experience. Very lovely restaurant and service. Thank you !

Great foodd and value for money as always. We got a mixed grill platter for 2 and shared it 3 ways and still had left overs to take home!
