Reflecting on past experiences at Murrumbeena Wine Bar, I can't help but feel a sense of nostalgia as the unfortunate news of its closure sinks in. From the moment I stepped in, I was always met with spectacular service and a carefully curated selection of wines, spirits, cocktails, and delicious menu items. One distinctive aspect that set Murrumbeena Wine Bar apart was its commitment to accommodating various dietary requirements. Whether you were a vegetarian, vegan, or had specific food allergies, the staff went above and beyond to ensure everyone could partake in a memorable dining experience. In the face of closure, it's disheartening to think this inclusive haven will no longer be available. Notably, Murrumbeena Wine Bar embraced a dog-friendly policy, adding an extra layer of warmth to the atmosphere. It was heartening to witness not only the camaraderie among patrons but also the friendly interactions between the staff and our four-legged companions. As the doors close, the absence of this pet-friendly retreat is a loss to the community. The interior of Murrumbeena Wine Bar radiated a beautiful vibe, creating a warm, cozy, and inviting ambiance. It served as a haven for both intimate evenings and relaxed gatherings with friends. The melancholy realization that this charming space will soon be just a memory adds a bittersweet tinge to the nostalgia. On a lighter note, the staff, not only for their professionalism but also for their striking handsomeness, added a unique charm to the place. Their charisma and warmth were as much a part of the experience as the carefully selected wines. It's a testament to the dedication of the team that made each visit a memorable one. As I reminisce about the sunny days in the wine garden and the comfort of blankets and heaters during colder spells, the imminent closure feels like bidding farewell to a dear friend. The mulled wine during winter seasons and the unbeatable value of Pinot Night on Wednesdays were cherished traditions that made Murrumbeena Wine Bar a standout establishment. In conclusion, as Murrumbeena Wine Bar closes its doors, I can't help but express gratitude for the remarkable experiences it provided. Beyond the stars Google allows, this establishment, with its outstanding service, cozy ambiance, curated wine selection, and yes, the handsomeness of its staff, will be dearly missed. Farewell to a gem in Murrumbeena that holds a special place in the hearts of many.

First time here to support my friend playing an acoustic set tonight. There are suburbia bars, and then there are the ones that gets it right, like this place. Let's start with, and the highlight of this experience.... ERICA !! What a delight of a human being. Top host from greetings to service and everything in between. Thank u. Food are delicious and well price and portioned. Their support of live music will always be all that I need to push them from a 4 to 5 star. I'll be back for sure.

Loved it! The website was extensive which made it easier to make a decision to go. Lovely, cosy and intimate inside tables, outside courtyard cool for bigger groups and more casual vibe. Plenty of seating. Great bar list which includes mostly local and craft/independent/smaller brewers/wine makers. Supporting local; Perfect! We had grazing board, bread with dukkah, spring rolls and French fries. All really tasty food and fabulous with our beverages. Good service too. Would recommend.

Great atmosphere and cute local bar. But that is where my compliments end. I travelled 30 minutes on public transport in the rain to catch up with my best friend for a wine. As a walk in we were quickly shown a table and offered a "white or red" before being shown the menu. Speaking of the menu, we admired the many delicious drink and pizza options. We had picked the same pizza, how quaint. But for 30 minutes we could not order. We couldn't catch the waitress attention, we couldn't get the bar to notice us. We saw the table next to us served with such a friendly tone while being blatantly ignored. We finished our delicious wine and crossed the road to be served immediately. Wouldn't recommend if you actually want to spend money or drink their delicious wine. 2 stars for the asthetic.

Awesome place, tasty drinks, great service. Hope to visit more frequently. Would be even better and more comfortable if the music were quieter and smoother, like vocal pop or instrumental jazz, which suits more to the ambiance.

Fantastic. Exactly what I needed for the end of the year. A friendly space to drink and chat, not too loud. Easy flowing, good snacks and dinner on standby. Very friendly staff and and outdoor space that's ok with well-behaved pets. Sad it seems to be closing.

I organised a Hens party at the Murrumbeena Wine Bar recently. I liaised with Ericka for all the pre-event arrangements and she was amazing to deal with, accommodating all our requests and suggested some great ideas as well. She made sure everything was perfect for us on the day and the event was a huge success. It was a great venue, it offered a picture perfect private indoor space and a really relaxed outdoor wine garden. The cocktail selection and finger food options were a huge hit too. I can't recommend this venue more highly for your next event!

My fav local bar by a long shot. Awesome wine list, snacks menu, service and ambience. They also run regular book clubs, trivia, live music and Sunday events. Make sure to check it out if you're in the hood πŸ’ž

I recently had a birthday party at the Murrumbeena Wine Bar and it was a huge success, due to the wonderful hospitality and service of Ericka and her staff. Seriously, this is a perfect place to host your special occasion. Great wine, beverages, platters! Fantastic atmosphere. Ericka made it so easy to cater for my guests within my budget. 5 Stars!

Would 100% recommend for functions, no hire fee just a minimum spend required. Responsive staff, very easy and positive experience arranging the function. Organised a pre-order of food. The staff and service were wonderful, quality wines and drinks, everyone had a great time. Will definitely be coming again.

Trying Murrumbeena Wine Bar for the first time... I don't believe I will ever come back. The place itself is quite nice and I like the dark green and black tones with the black small tables. It looks like it could be a lovely and chilled, maybe a little refined sort of place. Then they pump out loud, rubbish, beat heavy (not actual drums) commercial soapy music, it's a bit atrocious and makes me feel like I'm in any random commercial bar with no soul. I thought I'd sit, enjoy a beer while reading my book. I wish... ugh.

I adore this quaint little venue for it's location, wines and craft beers. The grazing platters are delicious and careful hand-picked for quality. The owner is hands-on and welcoming, staff are friendly. I love this place now that summer is in full-swing, hop off the train after work and walk into happy hour! I'll be back over for sure!

Popped into this new local wine bar last weekend, didn't really know what to expect! I was really pleasantly surprised to find a really cozy, and modern bar. Really friendly service, with a great selection of food and wine, and also some really great beers.

This is a cosy, popular hideaway seconds from Murrumbeena Station. With plenty of space for drinks for two or groups in the on street seating, the square dimly lit main room to the long but secluded out the back seeing you are sure to find a space to drink the afternoon and evening away. The bar staff are knowledgeable and offer everything thing when it come to wine but don't overlook the cocktail menu or happy hour with a $5 House red there is plenty on offer. It would be my local if I loved closer and I will be making the trek back.

So lucky that this is my local! With the winter weather rapidly encroaching Murrumbeena Wine Bar really comes into its own. The decor is cosy, comfortable and invites patrons to linger. Wine and cocktails list is varied enough without being overwhelming AND there is $5 Pinot night on Wednesdays. Food can be ordered in from local (& yummy) pizza restaurant or kitchen can whip up a mean cheese platter & a few other small plates. Great place to have a few wines with friends.

My partner and I had the most amazing picnic courtesy of Ericka and her team at Murrumbeena Wine Bar. I purchased a medium sized grazing platter that came with a beautiful bottle of Riesling (can choose from other options). The produce was of great quality and very good value for money. It was so easy to purchase online and organise either pick up or delivery locally and I can not recommend it enough.

Celebrated my 30th here and could not have asked for a more perfect night! The food and drinks were fantastic. The atmosphere was a great balance between cosy and lively but nothing compares to the absolutely brilliant service that makes you feel like you're part of the MWB family and ensures a fun night! Highly recommend for all events!
