This casual unassuming restaurant happened to the be very few places open so we stepped in and ordered some very light Vegetarian food. Sweet corn soup and garlic snap peas. Both items were simple and delicious! I'll definitely be coming back there. Also the service was very friendly. Ambience is casual, so not ideal if you want something fancy.

Surprisingly good! Walked in when I was hanging out at St Kilda and craved for some fried rice all of a sudden. Normally I will have a very low expectation or no expectation on a random Chinese restaurant that I walk in cuz having a fussy stomach spoiled by best grandma cookings growing up. However, the fried rice and beef dishes we ordered are pretty good that we wiped out all plates in no time. Authentic and homely. But The Dumplings skin is too thick, and pancake is a bit doughy. Still tasty. Will recommend if you want nice homely Chinese dishes.

One of my favourite restaurants in Melbourne! it’s really authentic Chinese food with great value 💯 This place has a stylish interior design, perfect for friends to come together and experience Chinese food, the food is beautifully prepared and exceptionally clean, the customer service are patient and amazing! I love pan-fried dumplings and stir fried scallops those are incredibly tasty, certainly unique and best compared to anything I’ve tried before. Highly recommend!! 👍

Sensational. We went on Tuesday night and it was busy! Plenty of walk-ins, plenty of people who seemed like the might be regulars and plenty of takeaway orders flying out the door. What does that tell you? Dumplings are great but the squid and fried rice were super excellent. I could be wrong, but I got an impression from the food that it might be somewhat Taiwanese. Service fast, drinks great.... Really good night out and I've really been hoping Fitzroy street would spring to life. Perhaps places like this will help draw or at least sustain crowds long term. Worth eating out at. Well done

The dumplings are excellent. That's not why I'm leaving this review though. I think these guys may hold the key to the energy crisis threatening our world as we know it. The amount of prawn crackers per serve, and the low cost, could potentially serve as a replacement to our standard insulation techniques. There are so many. SO MANY. They are delicious but I'd willingly forfeit them if it meant an end to the threat of global warming.

This place was a nice surprise on a scorching hot day. After a long and exhausted walk, we wandered into this restaurant and were treated with yummy food, from dumplings to buns and fried rice. Service was great, and staff was very quick and responsive.

Good value for money! The regular dumpmings were really good, so were the spicy beans (not too spicy tbh, which was great) Recommend for a fairly affordable dinner, nothing too fancy but good service!

Great Service!! Went there one late rainy night and asked for serval restaurants around, it all said not taking anymore orders. Glad you let us in :) Love the food although a little little bit pricey. I know that's trade off for the environment and location so totally acceptable. Have to say that the fried prawn balls are not made of a whole prawn tho. It's made of minced prawn. We will definitely come back. Love you guys:)

Exceeded our expectations in quality of food and affordability. Great custard buns, good dumplings, ok drinks. Service was lovely, nice ambiance. We don't understand why this place doesn't get more attention! We will be back with friends :) Edit: Came back and tried some non-dumpling dishes. Got an absolutely massive sechuan fish soup. If you just come here for dumplings you're missing out.

What a great unexpected experience, its been a long time since I've been to stkilda with fond memories of the last time I was here . The food is reasonably priced , the service from staff was a pleasure and the food was tasty, fresh, and exotic, I love the pineapple pieces added to my fried rice with prawns, 😋 Will definitely be back.

I will never eat here again. Dumplings were only just warm and the spicy prawns were not as described or how they visually appeared on the menu. They came out deep fried and were shown as not fried. When asked for them to be returned we were told it was not possible.

Pork dumplings delicious and their Sichuan chilli sauce on the side for $1 is brilliant! Biggest issue was that we ordered the Chicken and Corn dumplings, and they came labelled Chicken and Corn, but were actually Chicken and Prawn. My partner is deathly allergic to prawns and we're very lucky I tried first.

Best dumplings i have ever had around Melbourne and geelong. Good portions. Great presentation and lighting. Table positioning very apt. Chairs are very comfortable. Very calm and zen vibe. Great location as it is very close to st kilda beach. I highly recommend it.

We ordered via Uber food, and we had got wrong order. Instead seafood dumplings we had pork dumplings and we are not eating pork at all. So when we write to Uber they sent us notification that they will not return us money for that order and to call restaurant. So we called them and they told us that they can not do anything about that. We were very disapointed since we paid that and it is not our falt at all.

I totally love this place. They are open until 22pm during the weeks, which it saved my life last Monday when I was craving for some dumplings and scallops. Staff is so nice and helpful. We arrive at 21:30pm and they let us dinner and stay until we finished. Food is delicious. It comes to your table super fast and taste so fresh and good. You have to try it!

Visiting from NSW and travelling with someone not adventurous with food but loved the sound of a the black pepper steak. It was all devoured. Dumplings were delicious as was the mushroom soup. Honey chicken was delicious as well. Our group enjoyed our visit here and should we come back, we will be stopping in again

I love this place very much! The environment is very cozy, servants are hospitable and the food is also delicious. Such an amazing local Chinese restaurant to either eat in or takeaway. I come here periodically and it never disappoints! Highly recommend to people who want to try Chinese dumplings and local food of China.
