This is one of the best burgers in all of Colorado. You definitely get your money’s worth here. This is a low key, no frills drive thru with great food with an old school feel. I highly recommend this place. Come out and support your local businesses and avoid chains.

Small whole in the wall spot! It's a must try if you're in town or driving through glenwood springs. The burgers are made fresh to order, The cheese curds are a wonder! Got the # 1 with American cheese. My wife for the #5 also with American cheese. We both split a single order of cheese curds. Can't wait to come back to try more items.

Holy cow. This burger is worth the wait, the money, the trouble. I was worried it was over hyped to me but it more than delivered!! Maybe the best burger of my life. 100% would recommend. A local treasure👌💍.

Nice little stop in the mountains with a wide variety of American fare. They offer a veggie patty as well for those that don’t eat meat, which can be hard to find on the road! The place has a very cute vintage aesthetic and there’s room to sit and eat if you feel like stopping, as well as bathrooms. I wasn’t crazy about my burger, but the pictures others posted look better so it could have been an off day. Would stop by again!

Great tasting food, very poor customer service : / Wish I had a better review : / We were gifted 2 burgers through Locals Supporting Locals and decided to use the digital vouchers for a portion of our family Sunday lunch. We were super excited to try out this well woken off burger joint! Outside of the 2 free burger vouchers, we purchased some soft drinks, an over priced corn dog for our son, and a $9 single burger only cheese for our young daughter.. fries to split. Happily paid and pulled into a parking spot very ready to eat this much anticipated meal! Open the bag to find that there were only 2 burgers, a corn dog and large fry - our daughters plain cheese burger was missing. No big deal right? Just take our receipt up to the window and kindly let them know we were missing that part of our order, right? Wrong. The receipt only prints off the total purchase price (not our fault they don't produce detailed receipts that don't breakdown each item in the order) and despite the lady seeing us literally moments before in the drive-thru, they decided it best to charge us another $9 for a SINGLE burger with a SINGLE piece of cheese. Blows my mind. I can get twice the burger in a meal for that price and with MUCH BETTER customer service 30 seconds down the road. Let down for sure.

Expensive for a couple of just ok burgers. The real issue is the breakfast, really bad unedible, why put enchilada sauce on a breakfast burrito. Image my shock when I got back to the room this king I'm getting a nice sausage gravy over my breakfast burrito, nope it's enchilada sauce. I like Mexican food combo doesn't work. Gross.

We’ve been stopping here since the 70s for great grilled, smoky-tasting burgers! The service will be slow during peak hours. It’s great that they’ve added a cute log cabin in back and a shady seating area under big cottonwood trees, because the tented area becomes super-hot in summer—why it’s not ventilated is a mystery. Adequate counter service inside. Get a burger with their original smoke sauce, so good!

I’d prefer the price from literally just a year ago. I get inflation but than there’s robbing people, plus the food is cookout grade triple the price tho. Understand why I never see a line. Don’t trust the prices online. If you want the best burger you ever had go to belly up in town for 3$ more, if that.

Repeated the experience after an initial visit during our previous visit to Glenwood.... simply due to how good the food tasted that time and the convenience. They hit a home run again. Was as good as -if not slightly better- than the first time. Burgers this delicious are unusual to find in my experience. And it's easy to customize for size and toppings (read: customize for your specific appetite and desire for saucy-messy-goodness). The fries are really good too. Loved the caramel malt for desert. Will definitely be repeating again. Soon.

Holy moly what an experience!! Our hamburgers were absolutely delicious and we've never had better onion rings! My mouth is watering just thinking about it. Not only are the flavors spot-on but the burgers and onion rings were cooked to perfection. Kudos Chef! The parking lot was full so we found a beautiful place to park along the river. The color of the trees were absolutely beautiful! Divine food and a beautiful setting with my sweetheart. Life doesn't get much better than that! 😋

When I ate my burger I legit thought I had covid because I could not taste anything. Season your meat and don’t freeze it !! The quality does not match the price. Also, your patio is pretty stuffy with everything all zipped up and no fans on.

Saw the sign from the highway while on a road trip. Pleasantly surprised I had the elk burger, wife had veggie burger, shared fries and a black raspberry shake. We both thought the food was great, burger was really good, nice char. Fries were fresh far crinkle cut , shake was delicious and thick

This drive-in was fantastic. As a group we ordered a lot to sample. The cheese curds, the fried mushrooms, the green chili fries, a chocolate malt, cherry Cokes, burgers.. ALL SO VERY GOOD. Made to order and the decor make the establishment with old gas pumps and drive up order stations. Loved this place!!

Great food. Onion rings are especially great. Was as busy as I usually see it when I pass by. Unfortunately 1 of us didn't get his food until after the rest of us finished our meals, but we all ordered the same time. I come for the good though. And bathrooms were clean.

The burgers here seem to be previously frozen. The flavor is masked by the flame grilling. Be prepared to spend about $20 per person as it is also a very expensive eatery as well. Their credit card system also appears to have overcharged my card by about a $1.50. If you want to eat outside, bring your own towels. Bathrooms are from the 1940s to the 1950s outside in the back of the building. People taking orders were nice. My take, I'm not into expensive burgers that do not supply an expensive taste.

Intercom not very efficient. Cook was very attentive to my burger great meal. Forgot items overall I suggest this place but I would make sure to review your order before leaving and make sure to clarify your order when ordering.

Big meaty burger, just like the kind you make at home in the backyard! Munchers were good too! Gave it 4 instead of 5 because my order wasn't quite right, it seemed like the server was having a hard time hearing me at the drive thru. But it all tasted good so no biggy!

A cool old 1950's diner with walkup window to order. The chili cheese dog was delicious, and they have beef, Buffalo, Elk, and Turkey burgers! The peanut butter milkshake was the perfect desert. Definitely recommend.

The burgers are awesome! We ordered single elk (#3) and double beef (#3 + ketchup) and they are grilled to perfection. For the burger, you can taste the unique flavor of charbroiled patty. To help with the flavor note, they remind you of Five Guys burgers. The potato wedges are crispy and good too.

Very very yummy! Not quite a drive in as advertised though. Expect to either drive thru or get out and order at a window. There is outside seating as well as tented in seating. 5 starts for the food, but one off for the misnomer and dirty bathrooms. The food is worth the stop.

Was there a few weeks ago as a stop on our way on a longer road trip. Ordered the #3 burger with two elk patties and fries. The burger bun was a standard run-off-the-mill bun which they however had nicely toasted. The patties were quite good, but the seasoning was not very balanced. The fries were quite bland and seemed a little bit undercooked. There were quite a few classic cars there which were really nice to look at while we sat outside and ate. The staff was furthermore friendly and the view of the mountain is beautiful. If you just quickly want to grab a bite to eat, this is not a bad place.

Being a husky sorta man, I never thought I would have a legit charburger before. They have elk, bison, and hamburger, and chicken. I got the elk burger to try something new and it was the best burger I've had hands down. If you have a moment, please go in. The atmosphere is so classic and retro and makes it feel cozy. Service was quick to respond and the food was only thee biggest quality. I will be back for more. WITH family and friends!
