This hot springs is probably one of the most amazing things about Colorado. I personally love going in the winter because the pool fogs. The pool closes at 9pm. There Is a large pool that is 90° and a hot pool that is 104° Be very , very careful getting out of the hot pool if you've been in it for awhile. I have seen many people pass out after getting out too quickly. You can rent suits, the parking is free and so are the lockers. The lockers are very easy. You put your item in, shut the door and punch in whatever 4 digit code you can remember and it locks. Definitely a must see

I come here a few times a year, and I absolutely love it. But be aware that the therapy pool, which is the one that is 105° that I come here to partake in each time, it's currently being remodeled and won't reopen until the end of May. The staff told me that the newer pool on the far side with the waterfalls was 105°, but this was untrue. It was the same temperature as the main pool, which is in the upper 90s. I did not see any information that there was a remodel going on, so I'm putting it here in this review hoping that others will see this, and be informed. I went over into the Athletic Club for the first time which is adjacent to the pool, and they have an indoor mineral hot tub and a eucalyptus steam shower, as well as a wooden sauna. They let me upgrade from the pool by charging me only $18 rather than having me pay the full price after I explained that the staff gave me false info about the temperature of the new pool. This place has a really nice workout gym and 2 racquetball courts as well. Their locker rooms are a lot nicer as well. Granted, the newly renovated locker rooms in the main pool are still nice too. This is a great place to come to by yourself or to bring friends and family for a great time of relaxing and fun. Will be back to check out the newly renovated therapy pool soon!

Pool like always, is fun. However, the prices for the pool are ridiculous!! For the past 10 years I have been visiting every summer, but I don't think that I will go again. The grill is the same every year. They have not changed the menu at all. I wandered if those people will now how to cook anything else other than cheeseburger, wraps, grilled chicken. Hot dog is 9 dollars a combo, but with chips. If you want fries, you must pay 2 dollars more. The double cheeseburger is over 15 Dollars. Not even at Texas Roadhouse a cheeseburger is over 15 bucks. They're taking advantage of people. Wasn't busy like a year ago. There is no music/radio playing on the background. It will be nice to hear music while staying in the pool. There rooms are exaggerated expensive. 500 bucks a night. WOW! I thought that is the Versace's house in Miami. Nothing changed there, except the prices. Hotel Colorado is amazing! Yes, that's a good place to stay. Hotel Denver is good too. Those two hotels are historical. It is worth it. I stayed in those before. I will rate them with 10 stars if I could. I'm addition, I didn't like the way they're treating people when they are buying tickets or rechecking in. Treating people like cattle's. Take towels from home, otherwise they are asking for 4 dollars for a towel. Small, thin, flimsy towels.

Went to Glenwood Springs for my birthday in January. Boy was it freezing out! But the hot springs made it all worthwhile. Two pools: the larger one is slightly cooler, at 99 degrees I believe, whereas the smaller one is much hotter, only 15-20 minutes are recommended. Make sure you bring and drink plenty of water, I almost passed out because you get hot and dehydrated quickly but don’t want to leave the comfort and warmth of the pools. Make sure you bring flip flops or sandals for the locker rooms and a quick get around. The water at the Grill Restaurant is spectacular, it includes many beneficial minerals. Also be sure to check out the gift shop! I was impressed with their selection and prices. A must visit.

2022-August. We arrived late afternoon on a Saturday. We had difficulty finding parking. There were lots of chairs available around the pool's perimeter. The temperature in the main big pool was good, not too hot. Great for kids playing. There was a diving board at the other end where the water is 12-ft deep. Yes, there were life guards around. There was a line in the diving board, and a longer line in the tube-slide. There are few lanes for lap swimming. The smaller pool at the opposite end is a lot hotter, great for relaxing. Food from the grill was quite pricey. But good enough. Burgers, wraps, hot dogs, fries, smoothies, soft ice cream, etc, are available. The line to order moves very slowly. It took 40 minutes for us to be able to order. And additional 10 more minutes to get our fries and ice cream. It was yummy but maybe because we were so hungry by the time we got our food, lol. There were lots of showers and changing rooms. A liquid soap dispenser is placed in every shower. Lockers were available for free, but the ones I tried didn't lock. Have a great relaxation!

This place is amazing. It was so much fun. Family friendly - they dont even allow thongs, which is a great relief for parents who prefer their children and husbands not to look at naked butts all day. There is great fun for all ages and relaxation to the max! The food looked great. Ice cream. Lots of lounge chairs are available, and if you arrive early enough, a whole line of chairs is in shade. The town is really neat as well and the hike to Doc Holiday's cemetery. Go out of your way to visit Glenwood Springs!

Visiting the world's largest hot springs pool was so fun. We went on a Friday and it was not overly busy, which made it even more enjoyable. If you have an extra 90.00 rent a cabana. The chairs are more comfortable, covered and relaxing. Overall, the experience was really enjoyable and i would recommend it to anyone coming to the Glenwood Springs area.

Fun activity. We came on a hot sunny day (75 degrees) and it was so hot (btw - there is very little shade to be had). The kids loved the Shoshone Chutes (where kids who are at least 36” tall can float down the man made roaring river on a tube). The kids pool was also a hit, with its little open air water slides and slash pad. I loved that the water was on cooler side in this section.

Very fun and unique experience. Oversized warm pool and largest hot tub ever with water slides and diving boards too! Restaurant on site, ice cream, walking distance to downtown food and shops. More expensive than I would like to spend swimming but do not regret trying this place out!

Fantastic experience and fun for the whole family. We liked the size of the various pools as well as the variety in temperatures. Also, lots of things to do...from just floating/chilling in the pool, to playing in the splash pad and kiddie pool area, to jumping off the diving board, to rushing down the rapids in a 1- or 2-person tube! There are bathrooms, showers, free lockers, and a decent "grill" with reasonable pricing and variety of food options.

My first hot springs experience - won’t be my last. This was lovely and the price is right. There is easy parking close to the entrance. Towels are available to rent. They have free lockers. There is plenty of seating on deck. There were two pools available - one 104 degrees and one 99 degrees. I split my three hours there between them. It was not very crowded on the 30 degree late afternoon I visited, but they have room for hundreds of swimmers. The staff were all friendly and welcoming. As a lifelong lifeguard, pool operator, and water safety educator, I was pleased to see the lifeguards appeared to be engaged, efficient, and vigilant. This was a highlight of my trip. Thanks!

The Glenwood Hot Springs appeared to be a bit pricey considering its value. It features three pools with natural springs and offers massage services. I had a great time diving into the 12-inch pool, which also provided a beautiful view on one side. Overall, the experience was decent, but I found it to be quite expensive for what it offered.

Awesome! Two large pools where they pump the water from the hot spring and control the temperature on both, one hotter than the other for you to relax. Good view from the pools. It gets busy after 9am but you can still enjoy your visit. Fees are not too bad. Take your towel and bathing suit so you don’t have to rent it. You can change and leave your belongings in a, free, provided lockers where you put your own code where they also have showers. I’ll be coming back for sure!

Glenwood Hot springs is the ultimate in Hot springs!!! The big pool is so much fun! It's huge with lots of space for everyone to swim, play, float or just walk around. The hot pool is amazing! The minute your toes hit the water all your cares float away. Included in the hot pool are power showers for massaging muscles and very relaxing spa "chairs" with lots of bubbles! We love the Glenwood Hot Springs Pool because it is consistent with remaining a traditional hot springs, they are family-friendly and also a great place for a romantic day! Although, it has become way overpriced it is a much better hot springs experience than any competitors. Our hope is that we are not priced out of being able to enjoy such a beautiful pool.

This has been my family’s go to places since the early 90’s. The views are incredible, the town is quaint, but the hoards of tourists is enraging. They’ve raised prices quite significantly, about $50 per person per day. I don’t mind so much because hopefully that will deter people from crowding here. The hot pool reno was great! They did a fantastic job. Excited to see the rest of that changes that they’re working on.

It’s been over 20 years since I last visited the pool, and I enjoyed it just as much now as I enjoyed it then. So relaxing and therapeutic. I wish pricing were more family friendly. It cost over $100 for me to visit for three hours with my two teenage daughters. It still gets 5 stars though!

Had an amazing experience here. We are from South Carolina and went here in the month of December. Temperature was around 26F, it was pretty windy too. We had an wonderful time in the hot springs, they have 2 separate pools with different temperatures one which is hot and other one is milder/warm. Ticketing is pretty easy, we didn’t reserve it earlier too. They have lockers which are absolutely free! where you can store your belongings and take a bath too. We spent around 2 hrs in the pool before it got dark. It is worth every penny. The place is very clean and organized. It’s in an awesome location where mountains are visible on each side of the pool. Will definitely visit again and recommend it to others.

This place was on my list of travels for a while. Was driving back from TX and went through CO just to stop by. Was definitely a very beautiful place. The different pool temperatures was really cool especially if you stoping with kiddos. They also have bed jets of hot mineral water. Pretty neat. Overall was a great experience, clean, welcoming, relaxing, and sleepy after lol. The only negative I’d say is super busy, lots of people everywhere and couldn’t even find a chair to put your belongings on and really expensive. For adult price was over 50 dollars entry fee.

Loved it more than I thought I would. This was my first hot spring experience and I didn't really understand the hype. Once inside I was like "ok this is the best part of vacation". We went on a weekday so it wasn't crowded. The large pool is comfortable and warm, Perfect temp for me. The small pool is pretty hot. Took some time to slide in comfortably. There were a lot more people in this pool.

Glenwood Hotsprings is excellent and worth the stop if you are in the area. They have an athletic club- I've not ever used that but seems cool. I've come here a few times when traveling through the area and it's not disappointing. They have large pools and one is hotter than the other - so you can definitely maintain whatever you need. They have some built in concrete like lawn chairs at one part with bubbling, and then these powerful water spots you can go in. There are swim lanes at one end too if you are into that. The towels are small - bring your own if you want a good towel! No food or drinks there. Very relaxing. As with any hot spring in this area you won't full escape the highway, sounds of traffic - you are basically right next to it. But it's not that bad. Worth going!

Nice place, the small pool is definitely hotter than the big one, bathroom/changing rooms need some updating. Pool was very nice, not too crowded. It was great for a 40 degree day. A little on the pricey side if you only stay a few hours

Higher-priced activity, but well worth it. I think the $40/day for adult is more financially worth it if you spend longer there; ie, go in the morning for a bit, leave, come back, etc. As it was we arrived around 4-4:30 prior to sunset to get some gorgeous pictures with the mountains in the background. We ended up staying until nearly 7, which allowed us to capture the beauty at night as well. The facilities were clean and well maintained. The larger pool was plenty spacious, although not quite warm enough to want to stay in too long during the colder winter days. The smaller, hotter pool was exactly as expected and extremely relaxing after a long day. We included this in our day trip from Denver as part of a longer trip, and we were glad we did. Kids got a kick out of swimming in hot springs. Memorable and worth it for sure.

Great place to visit! Pool was awesome! Felt like a nice vacation being in the 104° waters! Pool was clean, staff was friendly, other visitors were friendly as well just enjoying the natural hot springs. Felt rejuvenating!! We want to go back when the therapy pool is finished! Plenty of seating for everyone and showers were clean and bathrooms were well kept. Kids enjoyed the lazy river and tubing. Overall a great time! The food wasn't that bad. A little pricey but the double cheeseburger was made fresh and was juicy. The ice cream was huge!

Wow! The water was so warm and cleansing. The smell of sulfur was strong, but it’s easy to look past once you soak in the hot, mineral water. The therapy pool was closed, but we had a great time exploring the other pools! I would recommend to anyone, just spend a day relaxing in the springs!

Giant hot springs swimming pool ranging in temperature from very hot to cool. Has a diving board and deep end. The hot area has jet seats and fast flowing fountains to stand at. There is a kiddie area splash pad and water slide. There is also a tubing slide which was a blast! Nice healing soak getaway!

What a great place to spend a day!!! The large pool was just the right temperature to swim in. The hot pool was great for relaxing. My kids loved the diving board and we all had fun on the Shoshone Chutes tube ride. We splurged and got a cabana for part of the day and it was totally worth it:)
