It was a great hike up BUT for some folks it would be a very steep, unpaved( mountian gravel) trail . Its an old school boothill grave yard. If you like western cemeteries don’t miss it Even if it takes all day to climb that hill it’s worth it take some water and a sandwich and enjoy walking around it’s worth it and the mountaintop scenery is top notch ……….and don’t forget to go see Kid Curry stone….. ps take a bottle of whiskey and spread across there graves they appreciate it.

Moderate hike. It was gorgeous. We followed the local trails out of Doc Holiday too and was pleased with the view. The Doc Holiday trail takes maybe 2 hours. The additional trail we took to lookout mountain right behind it took a few hours but we still couldn't complete it.

Plenty of markers through the neighborhood so you know where to go. The path is steep and no shade so take water. The Cemetery was interesting to learn the history.

American West history surrounded by beautiful scenery. The hike, the grave yard and potter's field were awesome. It is a shame that the city doesn't open the road up to the cemetery so the elderly and disabled could enjoy it. That's the reason it's only a 3 star.

Nice walk, the view is amazing on the way up. Slippery this time a year with snow getting compacted and freezing, also muddy, should bring hiking shoes.

Although this is not the final (exact) resting place of Doc Holliday, it's interesting to see the memorial and be in the cemetery where he is buried. A lot of other interesting headstones around as well.

Cool and historical! I went early just after sunrise and the weather was perfect. Great views, and can see why he'd want to be buried here. Hike is not too steep or long, but I'd go early in the morning if the weather is warm.

Spoiler. No one really knows where Doc Holiday is burried...but this is a cool monument near the likely place. Free park, short, but steep in parts uphill hike. Old cemeteries are cool to explore.

So glad there's a water fountain at the cemetery entrance. It really is quite a steep hike. I'm from flatlands (Illinois) so this really was a harder hike than expected. I brought my dog (12yo) and had to carry him from about the halfway point the rest of the way. It was worth it tho. Wear hiking shoes! My friend wore slip on tennis shoes and slipped often.

Nice little, maybe 1/2 mile round trip hike. It was so cool to see the place Doc is buried. Yes, parking is on the streets. Yes, trailhead is at the corner of the two streets next to a house.

He is laying down here somewhere so this is more like a monument for a this man. It’s quite a hike all the way up the hill to get to the graveyard, be prepared.
