I’m giving Rhapsody a 3 star even though it very well could have been a two for me. The location was great and the view was spectacular. I really enjoyed the fact that the rooms were basically apartments. The cafe down stairs was also pretty darn good. That’s basically where it ends for me. The room was honestly pretty bad. Our dishwasher smelled horrible, the dryer didn’t turn off even when you set the time. It didn’t really dry well and at one point it stopped turning on. The couch seemed like it was about to fall apart. Cigarette butts in the couch, burns all over the carpet. Dead bugs in the light cover above the bed which wasn’t okay. The room quality was closer to a 2 star motel not a 4 star hotel.

We stayed here for 7 nights. The rooms were clean and the bed was super comfy. We had ocean and city views which was nice. The kitchen had everything we needed. We always managed to get a car park even after returning to the hotel late at night, huge bonus as street parking was never available. My only complaint would be requesting toilet paper (2 rolls provided) and never receiving it.

Likes - free on site parking - friendly staff - restaurant on site - gym at level 27 = can run and enjoy the view! - nice rooftop garden at level 41 with breath taking views - ocean view directly facing surfers paradise beach - the room was generally quite clean - the included kitchen comes fully equipped! - they even provide washing and cleaning detergent - the master bedroom has its own walk in closet and spacious toilet! - complimentary bath towels if you were to use their swimming pool, jacuzzi and sauna - walking distance from surfers paradise beach Dislikes - I asked if it was possible to do early check in at 1030am instead of 2pm and all they said was “oh I’ll expedite it for you and contact you via email”… after asking a few times I ended up getting checked in at 2pm (the designated time) - anyway small matter, I’m not gonna deducts stars because it’s states in their policy - but at least tell me straight up so I don’t have to sit around waiting.

“Unfortunately, my recent stay here was far from satisfactory. The service quality was subpar across the board. The check-in process was disorganized and slow, and the staff appeared indifferent to guests’ needs . Throughout my stay, there were repeated instances of unresponsiveness from the hotel staff when I requested assistance or information and there was so rude !! . Basic amenities promised were either missing or in poor condition, and the room cleanliness was below standard. Overall, the experience fell short of even the most basic expectations of hospitality. I hope the management takes serious steps to improve their service quality for future guests. or never choose this bad hotel at all thanks.

What can I say? Views views views! Conveniently located in Surfers but far enough away from Cavill Ave to be quiet. 5 minute walk to convenience store & bottle-o. Staff were pleasant and engaging and the apartment was clean and well appointed. Even though it rained the whole five nights we were there it was still an amazing getaway and I'll definitely be returning. Do yourself a favour and get to the rooftop garden!

Loved the room and the view. So handy to, and much better value than the hotel where our conference was being held. The rooftop is amazing, and it's a great location for getting around anywhere without having to be in the heart of Surfers. Only thing we didn't love was the small Queen bed that was very lumpy, but everything else was great.

The check in was hassle free. Free parking was really great! It is gated after a certain time, and accessible by keycard, so it felt really safe. The one room apartment is amazing. Bed is comfty. The kitchen is fully equipped with oven, stove, microwave, plates, cutleries, etc. The washing machine and dryer was very handy. Water pressure from shower is good, good temp adjustment too. They also had a cute door tag, if you would like to request for a later room clean up timing. You must go to the roof top for the amazing view of the beach! I really enjoyed my stay there! Very close to the beach as well. My only minus point, would be that the aircon is a bit noisy. It gives off a high-pitch sound (i'm quite sound sensitive). I just slept on a different side of the bed. But otherwise i enjoyed my stay.

It's a totally amazing view. And the apartment was spotless clean. That's the most important part of our stay. The staff were very friendly and helpful. We had an amazing anniversary. They set up the room as per requested. Roses and beautifully set up. 😍

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at this hotel. The reception staff was very helpful, and the ocean view from my room was truly stunning! However, I have a minor complaint about housekeeping, they didn’t do enough cleaning the room just simply make a bed and done. Also the bed blanket was too thin not that comfortable and had some spots in the couch but anyway I think I gonna back here next time I come back to surfers paradise!

The 1 bedroom unit was absolutely comfortable and perfect size, Location. And perfect amenities. However the House cleaning option is just not feasible, or worth it. In my 5 day stay, I only saw it done once and that's after I had to call for it.

We booked a two-bedroom apartment, complete with amenities, kitchenware, laundry, and so on. Staff was nice and helpful. You can request for chromecast if you need it. We have daily housekeeping which is good. The best thing of all is the view from our room. Also, the pool and spa are open until 10pm so you can swim at night and relax in the spa. Overall, we loved it there.

Rhapsody Resort Gold Coast is an exceptional destination that truly exceeded my expectations. From the moment I arrived, I was captivated by the impressive new building and its modern design. The staff at the resort are incredibly friendly, knowledgeable, and dedicated to providing a memorable experience for every guest. One of the standout features of this resort is its prime location right in front of the ocean. Waking up to breathtaking views of the sea was a delight every single day. But what truly took my breath away were the two rooftop areas offering panoramic vistas of the entire city. Watching the sunset from there was an experience I'll cherish forever. The rooms at Rhapsody Resort are simply outstanding. They are not only modern and stylish but also impeccably clean. The attention to detail in the design and furnishings is evident, making me feel like I was staying in a luxurious five-star hotel. The rooms are equipped with all the amenities one could possibly need, ensuring a comfortable and convenient stay. Beyond the aesthetics, the resort truly shines in its service. The staff's dedication to ensuring the guests' satisfaction is commendable. From helpful recommendations for local attractions to going above and beyond to accommodate any special requests, the team at Rhapsody Resort made me feel valued and well taken care of throughout my stay. In conclusion, Rhapsody Resort Gold Coast is a gem among resorts. Its stunning new building, knowledgeable and friendly staff, and unbeatable location in front of the ocean set it apart from the rest. The two rooftop areas with breathtaking city views, modern and clean rooms with top-notch amenities, and exceptional service make this resort a true five-star experience. I can't wait to return and create more lasting memories at Rhapsody Resort.

Rhapsody Resort is probably the best hotel in Surfers Paradise, regardless of which level or direction your windows are. You're guaranteed an amazing view. The beach is literally at your doorstep with tram and bus services, too. The shops, restaurants, and other attractions are about a 7 minute walk, give or take. You have the option of either walking alongside the beach, walking alongside the tramlines, or hopping onto the tram for a short 2-3 minute ride to the city centre. All of which are amazing. Since the tram and bus services are close, you have easy access to all 3 theme parks if you're interested in visiting those. The room we booked is very spacious with all the necessary amenities provided. We are 110% rebooking when we revisit the Gold Coast in the future. DON'T let those silly reviewers, those who complain about the distance to Surfers Paradise, make you think twice about booking here. This location is perfect and will forever be perfect!!

Beautiful view from our room. Excellent service from the staff, they even gave us an extra pan when we asked for it. Very accomodating to requests when asked for a cot and a spare bed. Would recommend and would stay here again.

We stayed for 3 nights, first night noticed cockroaches in the bathroom. When we emailed re the problem all they ever said was I will let the reception team know, no further communication by reception team. Second day when we went out they sprayed the insect killer leaving same towels in the bathroom. They didn’t came back to check it afterwards so there were few dead cockroaches on the floor. We complained to the reception, and asked for new room, they stated fully booked tonight and offered to send the staff to clean the bathroom and will call later. They never called that night. We also noticed lots of stains in the blind of both room and reported that. On final day they call us saying staff with put more spray in the drain. Our whole stay there was terrible, where we didn’t even unpack our clothes fearing we would bring cockroaches with us. We thought about leaving, however finding another place was more hassle and expensive so we stayed. This was worst place for us to stay

It's a worst attitude from reception. I called up to asking about my bonding from April, she said "go check with your bank to make yourself happy" So I tried to tell her nicely that I remember I paid cash, but she kept saying go check with your bank. I told her that I am understand what she saying but I paid cash Nope, she was like fighting me over the phone, not letting me explain, she kept saying whatever she wants then end up the call when I started explain. She didn't let me talk. I couldn't get her name but that was so bad, and i hope if the management can read this review they should get back and train that LADY probably, check the call 2:42pm 08/06 I hope whoever seeing this review will be careful with your bonding, be clear with them before you leaving the hotel

Always an amazing experience at this hotel. The PERFECT location to view the GC500 race, with the track circling directly around the building. The parking is absolutely incredible, like no other hotel on the gold coast! They have 4 levels of underground decent car parking spaces. The building has 3 lifts, which usually take around 3-5 minutes at the peak times during the day, other than that they’re very quick! The rooms are beautiful and modern, clean & well kept. The views are breathtaking. From your room & Especially from the rooftop, which is such a great asset to the building, it is incredible up there. The pool area is great, you have a heated spa & regular pool..The steam room is a cool experience too! Only a short walk over to the beach. Lime bikes to hire straight outside the hotel, for easy convenient access to anywhere nearby. Overall it is probably one of the BEST places to stay here in Surfers Paradise. I’ll always choose to come back!

I had a fantastic stay at Rhapsody Resort. I booked a room last minute on Wotif and got a fantastic deal on a great room. Room has a kitchenette and laundry facilities and was turned over daily. It hotel is about a 10 minute walk from the main drag of Surfers and is very quiet at night, but has a beautiful beach across the road away from the hustle and bustle. I'll happily stay again.

Great hotel. Awesome location, close to everything, but still chilled & relaxing. Clean, tidy, great service, great amenities. Fantastic views from the sky levels & rooftop is great! The gym was clean with great view. Pool & Spa lovely. They provide towels for the pool & the beach, which is really convenient. All in all a wonderful hotel & recommend to everyone.

Clean, well appointed and spacious room. Incredible views. Great place to stay if you want to avoid the noise and bustle of Surfers Paradise but still want to be within close proximity to attractions, beach and restaurants. Beautiful views. Would stay again.

Did not stay long so you cannot say much in regards to service and room accommodation. I can say that it has absolutely stunning views. The location is absolutely perfect, close to the beach and with plenty of free car parking around. In a bit of a quiet area which is very much appreciated.

First time in this resort, and loved it from day one. Awesome customer service, I spent one week with my family in 2 bedroom ocean view apartment and there was absolutely nothing to complain about. Can’t wait to go back again.

Amazing location and view. 1 bed apartment needed every thing required for a convenient stay. Polite staff and provided great service fixing an issue we had. Pool, spa and rooftop access was a great bonus. There’s construction going on right in front of the hotel, although didn’t bother us but can get noisy early morning and through out the day. Would highly recommend anyone visiting Gold Coast.

The customer service was wonderful, nice clean rooms, beautiful views and close to Cavil Ave. Tram station was super close so you could walk right out the door and just straight onto a tram if needed. Only a few things that were a slight con, the beds weren’t the most comfortable, also had a couple of stains on the rugs and the couch was slightly ripped. Would also hope that there were something to stop the whistling sound that would come under the doors when it was a windy day. Overall great experience and would recommend.

We stayed in room 502, and had views from the balcony of both the ocean and the city side which we enjoyed. Balcony is a good size too! We included house keeping so it is nice coming back to a clean room with a tidy bed and fresh towels. The staff were all friendly to us and the pool/spa was of good size. The rooftop terrace is amazing! We enjoyed the 10-15 min walk to caville avenue as it was our exercise. The room was new, stylish, clean and designed well.

A nice hotel in a pretty good location close to the beach and North Surfers paradise tram station. Studio room is small but acceptable and the bed is very low to the ground. Lots of amenities in the room including washing machine, dryer, oven, dishwasher, fridge etc. everything a family would need on a longer holiday. It would have been nice if the staff told us where the pool was, how to get towels, what time check out was and that house keeping wouldn’t come to replenish towels and soap until 3pm. Otherwise everything was good.

5 Star Service all round! Had a weekend away with friends and room was magic!! Pool was amazing and breakfast too! Will definitely recommend. I’d also like to thank reception who looked after my friend and I when her vehicle wouldn’t start and as we were waiting for roadside to arrive they allowed us to use the facilities. Thank you!

Love this hotel. Nice spacious rooms with incredible views. Conveniently located (away from the action, but close enough to walk or drive easily). Get an Ocean View apartment and revel in the views. Could do with a real deep clean and an update of tech etc. but no serious issues.

Stayed here for 4-5 nights and it was the most pleasant experience ever! Enjoyed the stunning view of the coastline/ocean from our balcony and room. The washing machine and dryer came really handy too. Would highly recommend this place over any other in Gold Coast :)

Third time we have stayed here we absolutely love it! The rooms have stunning views no matter which direction you are facing and it’s the perfect location - not too close to the hustle and bustle of surfers paradise, but just close enough for a lovely walk somewhere nice for dinner. The roof top has the perfect setting for an evening bbq and sunset view. We felt very well looked after during our stay and we will definitely be coming back again. Thank you rhapsody 💕

Location , trams and buses to take you everywhere but I preferred to walk. The staff was so nice and helpful!.Great room with an amazing view. The swimming pool and the fabulous beach just across the road. I had the most wonderful time there. Highly recommended. Thank you

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The apartment is tidy and clean, with BOTH ocean and river views from the balcony although we only paid for the standard room. The location is close to centre of surfers paradise, but not close enough to hear all the commotions.

Stayed for a work trip so didn't utilize pool, sauna or anything fun. Room was very clean, had a kitchen and laundry facilities. Great view of the beach. Gym was decently equipped for a hotel. Cafe downstairs was good. Overall a pleasant experience.

Stayed on level 25 for 4 nights and really enjoyed our stay. Positives: -Friendly staff -Room was neat, clean and comfortable -stunning views in the room and on the rooftop terrace -beach, shops, restaurants and bars just a stroll away -pool and spa -free guest parking Negatives: -The beds aren't the comfiest and the bedding/pillows have that plastic under layer which makes for a sweaty sleep and is comically loud if you move around

We stayed at Rhapsody Resort for 3 nights. We stayed in 1br with ocean views. The room had a great view and was a good size for 2. Was very clean. Reception and cleaning staff were friendly. Very convenient to Tram stop. Breakfast was great in hotel cafe. We plan to stay again. Highly recommend.

Perfect location just outside the bustle of Cavill Ave but only a short 10min walk away. The studio room was perfect for a single traveller, so spacious and with the kitchen amenities if you were staying for a long time. The gym was well equipped, and the rooftop was the perfect spot to have dinner. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. Would stay again.

Unfortunately did not have a good stay here. To start off with we called and requested two queen beds rather than one queen and 2 singles (two bed apartment) got up to the room at still has single beds, not that big of a deal we called down and asked for it to be remade and were told someone would be sent up straight away. Waited well over an hour and had to call a second time for the beds to be remade. Got attitude and told “we are busy and will get to you when we have time” I told them back I understand your busy but honestly don’t care, we paid a lot of money for one night and did give a few hours notice before we got here. After another 30-45 minutes we were brought up sheets finally but expected to make the bed ourselfs and they did not take the old sheets. The sheets ended up having so many stains on them including blood (yuck) had to call once again to get the bed remade (it’s almost 5pm at this point now) sheets were brought up once again but I was then expected to make the bed myself again and had 3 other sets of sheets (9 total) now sitting in my room as they were not taken. When had to chase the guy back to actually make the bed and take the old sheets with him, we explained they had stains all over them and the poor guy was completely shocked. We then had to wait for new sheets and blankets to be brought up once again. The rooms themselves also did not look very clean, found rubbish under the bed and had hand prints all over the mirror and the tin foil they wrap the oven trays with we’re not changed from when they were obviously last used. Ans last but not least. Paid extra for a ocean suit bed only to have construction and cranes blocking the view. Safe to say I did not have a relaxing time

Rooms are very nice and have fully equipped kitchen with dishwasher and oven. The room also had a washer for clothes. Beach is easily accessible. I had a south facing room which had a great view of city/beach, though the beach view may be limited once the new building across the street is completed.

Stayed at Rhapsody Resort with a friend for 4 nights/5 days and the service was amazing, the room with the ocean view was stunning and the rooftop terrace was lovely. Conveniently located next to the tram, far enough from the hustle and bustle of Cavil Ave but only two stops over from the tram which is right by the hotel. Looking forward to my next gold coast trip to stay here again! Would definitely recommend this hotel.

We returned to the US last week from a two week stay in Gold Coast, Australia at the Rhapsody Resort / Surfer’s Paradise. It was a beautiful place to stay in a great location, right at the beach, right by a Tram stop and just the right distance from the excitement of the heart of the tourist district. Easy enough to walk to, but on a slightly more peaceful part of the strip. What really stood out for us about Rhapsody Resort was the care and the customer service we received throughout our stay. (Most notably, from the lovely Danielle.) From the instant we walked through the lobby doors we felt taken care of. We were hours early due to the early arrival time of our long, grueling overnight flight. They welcomed us and very gladly held onto our luggage and made the resort facilities accessible to us while they rushed to get our room ready for us early. And all the way through our stay, we were met with warm greetings, great advice and ideas and local tips that really impacted our stay in the most positive ways. It was as if we were suddenly best friends with a local concierge, and we are so grateful for all they did as they went out of their way to make our stay special and free of hassles. You just don’t see that so much any more. I hope that the management knows what a wonderful operation they have going on at that front desk owing to Danielle and her colleagues. Especially in the changing landscape of hospitality, I think the personal touches afforded by the staff members such as we experienced, are absolutely critical, and I hope that this company recognizes that and rewards and cultivates their customer-facing staff accordingly. They are wonderful and made our stay what it was. And what it was was amazing, and beautiful and restful and fun and we would very much look forward to returning one day.

Im loving my stay here, the staff is amazing, really nice and friendly. I booked the 2 bedroom ocean view apartment and the view is really nice. (The only thing is the noise of the construction in front that is too noisy at night time) but everything else is 10/10! The view on the floor 41 is incredible, nice pool, gym and different areas. Have parking included that make it easy at the moment to park your car. (We rent a car) so the Peking included make it perfect!
