What a great place. Clean friendly efficient courteous and more like that. We came here for a conference with about 400 others. All had dinner together and the food was served fast and hot. Amazing effort and worthy of much cred. The views are incredible. The facilities are great. Good gym and pool with kids at empress to play. Restaurants- Italian and Japanese all amazing. The rooms are everything you would expect from a hotel like this. Incredible set up. Highly recommended

The rooms are really beautiful, the service is amazing. The unfortunate thing is that if you’re staying at a busy time, there is zero parking. Security do their best trying to find parks for everyone, however there are way more rooms than car spaces. For the price it costs to stay here, you shouldn’t have to walk 10 minutes from your car to the lobby.

I stayed for 3 nights for a work conference. As I'm not a golfer and the resort is quite far from anything within walking distance, I thought it might be a tad boring. However there were a number of restaurants to try as well as an on-site beauty spa and a pool. The breakfast buffet was delicious. The room had a beautiful view of the golf course and beyond. It was a great stay. It's just a shame it's not near anything.

OUTSTANDING resort! Exceptional service and always greeted with a smile! We took our little ones on their first holiday, and RACV Royal Pines was the perfect location! The facilities are suitable for everyone, young and old, and there are so many options! Rooms are clean, service is second to none, and staff genuinely care about the guests! I specifically want to thank Andrew, the night manager, for helping with my car... I approached the night counter to ask who to approach, RACV/RACQ for a minor issue with the car I was driving, and Andrew offered all the help I needed immediately. He was professional, friendly, gave perfect advice, and despite it not being his job, went above and beyond, just to look after his guest. We'll definitely be back! Thank you again! :)

Value for money if you are after a spacious room and good service. The housekeeping staff did an excellent job. We tried out the spa and went for massage - it was wonderful and very clean. Buffet breakfast had awesome options and we were spoilt with too many choices.

Had an excellent three day stay. Our spa room was spacious, comfortable and clean, with great views. Only quibble is the archaic movie system requiring payment of 15 bucks to watch a movie. Most people have Netflix or similar these days. Better to have TVs you can link to with your own device. Breakfast buffet was excellent. Lots of choice and continually being topped up. Lots of amenities. Great pool, tennis courts and the spa area. And the golf courses that we didn't use. Staff were excellent, especially the young guy on concierge duty during our stay. Really helpful, friendly guy.

Amazing staff, gorgeous location and amenities. Special thank you to staff Nick & Chloe. After a very stressful night where our flights were cancelled they were so kind and helpful and even upgraded us. What amazing staff, appreciate the kind gesture. The room is gorgeous and has a beautiful view. Highly recommend this accomodation for anyone and happily stay again.

I stayed here for a conference for four nights and it was a great spot. There was plenty to do in the off-times, food options were aplenty (although, make sure you make reservations), rooms were great (all with views), and staff were very friendly.

Stayed here overnight while cycling through this area, heading to Brisbane. Very nice and spacious guest room. Well maintained and clean. Love the showers and the brightly lit toilet. Comfortable mattress, which allowed a very restful sleep readied for next morning’s ride. Had dinner at the hotel’s restaurant too. The calamari starter and prawn pasta were so delicious!

Our room was newly renovated and on the 16th floor with a great view. The gym was well maintained and equipped. The restaurants were really impressive as well, particularly the view from Videre. Really enjoyed all the activities available with golf, tennis, the arcade, the pools. Couldn’t recommend more. One tiny note: consider providing some cover on the driving range. It’s wicked hot on sunny days, of which I’m guessing there are a lot in Queensland.

Great place for family as well as workers traveling to GC. The two restaurants were excellent. There is an Italian one, serving fine cuisine, and a Japanese one, which blew my mind thanks to its authenticity. Pools, golf, spa and more. The staff is also really helpful, kind and respectful.

What a lovely hotel to stay in. I attended a 3 day conference and had room service on 2 days. So delicious! The staff are very friendly, and the amenities are clean and modern. The food over the 3 days has been fresh, innovative and yummy. I had a day spa hour and omg it was the absolute best. I highly recommend this hotel.

Hi, I am writing on behalf of my father, who stayed here for the weekend. It is the first time he has asked me to write some reviews. Please take it seriously. It is the review of 70 years old Man. He told me everything was good, including hospitality, ambience, and food. However, he was surprised to see that in such a good place, bullies do exist. He said that during the breakfast buffet on Friday, there were two chefs, one tall dark colour man(he wasn't able to get his name) and female chef DK as per her name mentioned on tag. He overheard their conversation while taking food. Male Chef was rude to her and said mean words, bulling her. She was so humble and asked him to show how to do the right thing. During the entire buffet time (he was there for over an hour), she served the food with a smile and a happy face. He feels sorry for her and wants to offer her job, but he wasn't able to get her on Saturday or Sunday. I hope this message reaches her. The work environment needs to be healthy.

We stayed at this resort for one night. It's a great resort with lots to do for adults and kids. Great pool area with lots of space and enough chairs, kids play area with jumping pillow and games room. It's a pretty big resort so you can go for walks, play golf, go to the spa or just chill. Location is also great being just 18min from Surfers Paradise and around 30min to the theme parks. There's a Coles and fast food shops just down the road.

Recently have done a three day work experience to gain more knowledge about the tourism/hospitality industry. All staff had the most friendly manners you can imagine and our rooms were always re-done far before our day was finished after working. The food was very tasty and filling, Perfect! Seeing the background scenes made me further realise how hard working chefs, baristas and all other type of staff truly are so that you as a customer can have a wonderful experience. Thank you very much RACV Royal Pines Resort for giving myself and the others this opportunity! Highly recommended to do it!

The executive rooms and service was amazing overall! There was an arcade section which was free to play, many restaurants with great food, 2 pools one of which had 3 small water slides and on top of all that It was probably the best hotel I've been to ever! I would recommend this hotel to everyone. Go check it out as soon as possible.

We come here when we just want to get away without going too far from civilisation. The staff are very friendly, welcoming and well trained. Breakfast buffet is decent —eggs your way. The floors and rooms have been freshened up since we last came and only very few hints of the 1990s remain. The pool is great. Kids will love the water park. The location is really cool, if you don't need to be near the beach. It means there's no other task buildings around so the hotel enjoys 360° views. You don't have to leave during your stay if you don't want to. We stayed on the executive level. Drinks and canapes included 5:30 daily, nicer rooms and a child other inclusions.

Was ok even for a short stay. Room was average, kind of out dated with an old small fridge, didn't use the kettle as you had to grab water from the bathroom to fill, shower over bath tub. Paid for less at other places and with better amenities in the room. Has a great gym, laundry room needed a clean. Breakfast buffet not bad, free arcade room for kids and massive pool so at least the kids enjoyed it. Staff were very attentive and helpful.

Absolutely fabulous Very thing was perfect . The bed was amazing, the meals were delicious Even the wild birds like human foods which I found distressing I’d prefer if this wasn’t encouraged in my personal opinion My only after thought was, if I had known the distances over two days between wedding venues I had to walk with a wheelie walker I would have hired a wheelchair

Our experience at RACV Royal Pines are fantastic! We spent extra to upgrade our room into the spa room, and it worth the money. What also comes with upgrading is the fantastic view of the golf course, a living room area to chill with the red wine. Staff and concierge are very helpful and shows us around places to visit. Parham - the concierge staff - was very helpful, nice and ensure us having the best experience we can get from the resort. Overall, worth the upgrade and experience if you are looking for a get away or vacation here.

As a work/conference venue, it’s hard to fault & easy to see it would be great for golfers. Possibly a little too far away from the ‘action’ & beaches if you have young or older kids. But as a conference venue - great! Staff were plentiful and attentive, with food quality & variety a standout!.. from morning & afternoon tea’s, lunches and dinners - something for everyone and a dedicated vegan alternative service area. Well served by large and small conference and breakout rooms, with bedrooms that overlook the golf course - that’s just begging for a quick 9 holes.

Beautiful hotel. Helpful staff. Nice rooms with great views of the Gold Coast skyline and the golf course below. Dinner at the Japanese restaurant was good too. I'm happy to recommend this hotel.

This place is amazing. Stayed for 1 night with family. Rooms are very clean and good sizes. The gym is better than any gym I've ever been to and it's HUGE! Breakfast buffet was awesome with so much variety. Loved the mango smoothies. Great pool area as well. A hidden secret of the GC. Up there with some of the best accommodation in the GC. Will definitely stay again and a bit longer.

Stayed here for a week. Loved the newly renovated rooms. Maggie on the reception desk was wonderful…..very professional and friendly. Our housekeeper, Lolita was wonderful….and did a great job. And being a housekeeper must be one of the hardest jobs…..she was great. We went to the Italian restaurant tonight, John was our waiter …was just wonderful. So professional and you could tell he had worked in top restaurants Very impressed with the staff. Thank you

I would sincerely like to compliment Mike for his great patience and outstanding customer service! We had to change a few pillows before I could find the right one for me and my wife! He delivered the pillows promptly and is always smiley and very understanding! We are embarrassed to trouble him so much but really glad that he ensured good sleep for tonight and the next 3 nights to come! Keep it up mate!

We had a nine day stay here, staff were outstanding, especially Suzy on the front desk, very helpful, nothing was to much trouble for Suzy, thank you Suzy. Room service was also very good every day. The only thing for us, was having to pay for movies, and or Netflix, which generally comes with staying in such a resort. This was disappointing based on our global travels and staying at resorts like this. Our room was wonderful, plenty of room, great bed too and awesome shower as well. Great location on the Gold Coast, close to everything really, loved the swimming pool area, the gym, and the coffee shop where we caught up for a meeting. We would stay again.

We enjoyed a High Tea Celebration for a birthday. The atmosphere was perfect - we felt spoilt from the start. Attention to detail was everywhere, and the whole experience was stunning. The food was luscious and made more so when the Chef came personally to talk to us. Just GO - take some girlfriends. You know you deserve it!

What can I say, this is a 5-star hotel. Stayed for 10 nights during the school holiday Easter break with my family of 4. Upon arrival, and daily make-up of the room...Everything was exceptionally clean...from the reception, lounge area and indoor restrooms. Free car park and excellent customer service experience throughout our stay. The pool + small water park was wonderful for the kids. We've been here before, we'll definitely be coming back! Keep up the great work, RACV!

A last minute decision but worthwhile! Friendly staff at check-in, rooms were clean and tidy, some things were a bit dated and showed signs of age but overall condition was good. We don’t play golf but went for a walk through the grounds and they were very well maintained. Breakfast in the morning was amazing! The pool level restaurant was closed for refurbishment at the time (it’s open again now) so we were upgraded to the restaurant on level 21. The pool and bouncing pillow outside are great to keep the kids entertained. We will be back!

  • 5/5 Kelly R. 2 years ago on Google
This was by far the best family friendly hotel I’ve stayed at! I cannot fault any of the staff members as they were all so welcoming and helpful! This hotel had everything for kids to keep them entertained and even had child minding facilities at the buffet breakfast! Everything was so simple from check in to check out. We asked for a high chair to be brought up to our room and it was there in a matter of minutes. The only thing I can fault was the quality of food at the breakfast as it went cold so quickly being in such a huge room and air con was freezing. But all in all I would highly recommend this resort and we will be coming back! The staff made it so enjoyable and the city skyline views were amazing!!! Well done!

We really enjoyed our stay in Royal Pines. Staff were really nice. Room was clean. The water playground and shallow pools are perfect for kids. Don’t miss out their restaurants! Food is really nice and prices are reasonable.

Attending a conference. Had lunch before it started in lounge near reception. Great friendly, helpful staff. I had the caesar salad with chicken as an extra. Really nice. We had an awards ceremony in evening with drinks and food. Have to say the service and the food was exemplary. Would recommend.

I got engaged this last Saturday and when I informed the staff of that at check in, they upgraded our room immediately. That was a very sweet and nice gesture and aww it made me feel special, so thank you. The room we were upgraded to was exquisite- breath taking views of surfers paradise from afar whilst overlooking the golf course. Staff were very warm, friendly and professional from check in to check out. The resort is very beautiful so my fiancé and I took amazing photos and we have so many lovely memories to cherish. The resort has lovely restaurants in it and food was very tasty. I love pastries, sweet things and some tea so panorama cafe was a lovely place to enjoy and just relax. Thank you for making my engagement weekend enjoyable. We shall definitely be back!

Great accomodation and friendly staff. Facilities are fantastic, lots to do around the resort. We stayed in the Superior Spa Suite which was very spacious and clean. Only 4 stars because a little outdated and TV didn’t work very well.

  • 5/5 Nicolas D. 1 year ago on Google
Great rooms but more importantly, outstanding service from the staff. We spent 4 nights at Marriott in Gold Coast where the room had a cheap design and the mattress killed our back. When Jetstar cancelled our flight we spent an extra night at the Royal Pines, and we wished we had spent all our stay there. The rooms have a premium feel and the mattress are soft. The staff was proactive in helping us in every aspect of stay and our trouble. We felt their care demonstrated a superior level of service than Marriott.

Very welcoming, friendly, helpful and professional staff who went out of their way to make my friend’s 70th birthday celebration a memorable one. We were able to use and enjoy the wonderful facilities on offer during our 3 night stay. There was a sense of tranquility the moment we set foot in the resort with water features and beautiful gardens all around. In all a most relaxing and enjoyable holiday. We would particularly like to commend the concierge Sam for his warm and friendly welcome on arrival.

  • 4/5 Dale C. 1 year ago on Google
Had a last minute stay on the coast and very impressed with our choice. The staff are exceptional. The facilities live up to expectations. One small hiccup was in house dining. Great fast service but at the expense of under cooked pizza and raw beef in the burger. I would defiantly stay again and even recommend it to family and friends.

  • 4/5 Liting Y. 1 year ago on Google
Overall our family had a relaxing holiday there. A few points I think worth mentioning, which can probably be improved in the future to match the five star criteria. The toilet door was in a very poor condition. It's very hard to open when closed and it cannot lock. And it makes a very loud noise every time we tried to close it. The shower screen was leaking. So after the shower the toilet floor was very wet. The signs in the resort was not clear. We didn't find the closest carpark the first time so had to drag our luggage all the way to the reception. It was tough road with no footpath. Would have been easier if the carparks were better labelled. Other than that the room was quiet and had a nice view. Breakfast buffet had limited options but food were of good quality.

  • 5/5 Dwayne C. 1 year ago on Google
Came here for a work conference and the facilities and staff were fantastic. Great multi use spaces for conferences. Our conference was 600 people, but it could have probably handled even more. Staff were wonderful, nice and green. Enjoyed my stay. The room was clean and tidy, room staff were incredible. I'd return in a heartbeat.

Went to High Tea on Sunday and I can't speak highly enough of the service from when you arrive to when you leave. The food was delicious with a good variety of savoury and sweet treats. Array of teas to choose from, or a plunger of coffee if you prefer. The ladies running the place were all very friendly and professional. Will definitely be going back.

This venue is so clean and presents itself at an excellent level. The cafe has amazing coffee and staff are very hospitable. I found it very family friendly and easy to access all areas of the resort.

The Royal Pines is quite a spectacular piece of real estate. I think Max Christmas had a lot to do with its vision,a community built around gorgeous grounds and surrounds with a palatial Golf course, many walk ways, gorgeous fig trees all over, cafes, restaurants and shops. The video below is taken from the executive 🍸 bar, free drink and nibbles for all the hard working execs. And the view, Spectacular, of all around the Gold Coast. I like the Panorama Lounge, a little cafe, where staff know your name, and have lots of deliciousness on offer. Good coffee too.

  • 2/5 Flaming M. 1 year ago on Google
Pool and surrounding grounds were nice. Staff were nice. Only 1 restaurant open for early dinner. The room decor was very outdated. Super stained curtains, cracked tiles in the bathroom, stained towels, springy uncomfortable mattresses, chipped/marked furniture. Not sure how this place is 5 star, it feels more like 3 star. I will try elsewhere next time.

We had a lovely stay and experience. All the staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Great place for families with kids..big selection for buffet breakfast....plus kids loved the amazing pool and outdoor jumping pillow. Special thanks to all staff for making our stay so enjoyable especially nick ( manager) and Marion who always greeted us and the kids with the biggest smile at breakfast .

An absolute gem! So family friendly. Lovely staff, fantastic amenities and gorgeous grounds. Food on site is very good also. This place feels like a holiday resort, provides a safe family environment and you are guaranteed a great nights sleep. It really puts other accommodation in the Gold Coast to shame considering the value you receive at Royal Pines.

  • 5/5 Loralie W. 1 year ago on Google
We love staying at Royal pines. Very family friendly and the kids love it. The newly refurbished rooms are lovely. Such a great new look. Staff are always extremely friendly and welcoming from reception, down to the restaurant and pool areas. Highly recommended. If I had to note one very minor downfall, it would be that my son gets upset that the arcade kids area isn't there all year round and only on school holidays. But as I said, it's a very minor downfall.

  • 4/5 Demethostes90 1 year ago on Google
Attended for work conference- excellent conference facilities and on site amenities, but the rooms were a bit Spartan and about due for the renovation concluding in 2023. Will look forward to attending again in the future and updating the room rating then. Customer service was a bit sporadic but overall positive. Views were spectacular and the on site restaurants and spa were to die for. Would recommend.

Loved it! From a very warm welcome to our reluctant departure, our 4 day stay at Royal Pines was absolutely fantastic! The facilities and food were great and the staff were so friendly and helpful, particularly Marion and Jameson who looked after us at the sumptuous all you can eat buffet breakfast. Our stay represented great value for money and we will definitely be back .... thank you so much for a wonderful time!

  • 3/5 Jamie B. 10 months ago on Google
This resort is really showing its age and its self rating as 5 stars is a joke. Although there is apparently a refurbishment program in place to be completed later in 2023 it is several years too late and an admission that this is really a 3 star motel at best. Unless golf is your thing this resort has little to offer, give it a miss

  • 5/5 serena n. 10 months ago on Google
Gorgeous hotel rooms good location and the biggest bonus was the massive parking facility. The pool was fabulous, heated and great for the kids and the buffet breakfast had a great variety. Looking forward to re-booking with them soon !

Overall a good experience for the 3 nights we were there. We stayed on a renovated floor and the rooms were nice. Not fantastic but good. Clean and modern. Staff were all very friendly, especially at breakfast. Lovely bunch of ladies there. The pool area is fantastic for kids. Overall an aging resort but still decent even after 35 something years. Only loses one star for its age but most families will be very happy here.

Absolutely beautiful place to stay for couples or families or even if you want to relax quietly with some friends and play a round of golf or tennis. The staff are amazingly friendly and the place is really big so plenty of places to relax in or stroll or even poolside activities for the kids. 110% going back next time I'm in Gold Coast.

I recently stayed at this resort and it exceeded my expectations in every way! The pool was fantastic, providing a refreshing oasis to relax and unwind. The buffet was truly amazing, offering a wide variety of delicious dishes. However, what truly set this resort apart was the staff. They were attentive, friendly, and went above and beyond to ensure my stay was perfect. Highly recommended!
