Excellent pool facility but what a shame the spas are only available to elite sports, the public are just as important. I'm a disability support worker & would bring many more clients if they could use the spa. A sauna would also be great.

Great facilities here and is good for competition. A little more shade for spectators would be nice. It has a good cafe/restaurant attached.

Love this place! Always nice to see my grandkids enjoying swimming lessons, the bar should have more healthy options but the ambience is so good! Always birds and their chooks around

Lovely swimming to come for a swim. My children come here for swimming classes and the instructors are great/ friendly/ skilled/ professional. I highly recommend this GC aquatic centre in Southport to parents who are looking for a swim school for their kids. We have been coming since October 2019.

What a beautiful complex… best place to be on a hot coast day! Only downside parking makes the day more expensive than it needs to be!

Adequate numbers of disability accessible shower/ Change room. It is the biggest swimming pool in Gold Coast ( I think).

Family friendly, have more than one pool & you have the option to free swim or swim laps. Cheap entry fee & discounts for pensioners. I recommend calling up before arriving to see if there are any school swimming carnivals or sport on first. Only negative is that the diving boards are never open.

First class swimming venue. There are numerous pools for all swimming deciplines. There is an indoor and outdoor pool facility for "learn to swim" a rehabilitation. In both pools are wheelchair ramps into the water. Plenty lifeguards in each area. There is a small coffee bar and retail swimming shop at the entrance. If you are looking for a substantial meal and a drink, there is a food area at the back of the pool areas called Cafe Catalina. Showers, toilets, and lockers are available. There are floodlights across the pools. Yes, and a toddlers splash pool area too. No alcohol on the premises. Don't forget sunblock and a hat. Please check website for membership and of special events to avoid disappointment.

Great pool especially outdoor when the sun comes out.kids have so much fun here. Caution notices everywhere and lifeguards really do their jobs. Staffs are friendly and parents can relax here.

Love this place. Awesome location, cool vibe, super clean and pools are fantastic especially deep dive pool. Little cafe is great too.

Huge olympic level facility. Multiple outdoor pools with different speed lanes, including a wheelchair ramp. Learn to swim pool available, indoor as well. Small shop by reception with essentials for swimming and a few snacks (swimsuits, goggles, fins, caps, water bottles etc.) Lovely staff ready to help, plenty of engaged lifeguards. Can get busy with school and community programs during after school hours, but never cramped. Changing and toilet facilities clean and big, with lots of showers. Parking free for two hours for members. Fitness centre also great, good spread of group lessons for every level and taste (yoga, stretching, weights, aerobics etc.) New and well-maintained machines, lots of options and double ups. Free weights areas with padded flooring, variety of other props to use and plenty of sanitizing wipes and bins for them next to machines. Priced as well or less then most similar level facilities, especially in a combined membership.

I don't understand why management decided to limit public access to the indoor pool during peak hours between 8 and 11 am and 4 to 6 pm and reserve those hours for swimming lessons even if the indoor pool is only halfway full and has lots of open space during the lessons, we still can't use them. The weather is turning chilly and rainy, but management won't free up the time. Stupid management decisions It appears that persons who make such foolish decisions are completely mentally disabled.

The aquatic centre received a make over for the commonwealth games in 2018 and was already a pretty good facility but now it’s very spectacular! We attended the 2023 Australian swimming championships and we really like it! They offer swimming classes for babies and children and have a good swimming program for older children and they have a good gym facility both indoor and outdoor. Just beautiful!

The center is excellent and the staff there are so professional and friendly. A lot thanks to Ms Taty, a very experienced teacher of Learn to swim program, who always got the most beautiful smile on her face.

Mum and I both wanted a warm hydro therapy pool for limbs exercise. We both have Arthritis, mum's is quite acute. We enjoyed the 32 degrees warm pool but as the season changed, we found 32 degrees not as warm as the shower water,! We decided to skip it for the winter as we are sensitive and catch cold easily. Warm hydrotherapy and spas do require 33 degrees to 36 degrees max.

The choice of swimming pools means that there is always one where you can get a few laps in. The gym is open and spacious. On the rare occasion a piece of equipment is broken it gets fixed quickly. Great place to stay in shape.

At least twice a week I separate a time to go swimming in this local. Warm water, kind staff. Go for it.

Great facilities. That is if you can use them. Indoor heated pool available times outside of lesson hours are sometimes booked without notification before entry. Really inconvenience if you have small children needing to use the heated pool and it's not available when you have already paid entry. Poor management.

I take my son to the 3-6 month old swimming lessons. They are amazing, it’s my favourite day of the week. Miss Cheryl is fantastic, builds such a special rapport with all the babies and their parents. Highly recommend classes with Miss Cheryl.

My little one has just started swimming lessons within the last month Gold Coast Aquatic Center’s admin Lucy and Evie have made the transition and start up super easy. We love having a joke with Evie at the end of our lessons as she has a great sense of humour- all the front desk girls are so easy to get along with We have both private lessons and group lessons with Grace and Julie and both swim instructors are patient, knowledgeable and friendly with my little one. The facility itself is super affordable and very family friendly- in a great location if we want to grab breakky or explore the parklands in Southport. Highly recommend

If you want to see fantastic blue water with a lively weekend atmosphere then visit this place. All typical features and amenities are here. Plus overall, very friendly staff. This place is cashless so bring your plastic cards. Kids will also need a spriggy card for eg.

We come to Aquatic center for my son lesson ( Aquaheart )with another little kid 5 years old every week. Many time’s ago , receptionists also accepted and gave us a red or yellow papers to wear on my kids’ hand . Today, another reception ( first time I saw at reception. She looked like a public cleaner that I saw in the pool ) stopped me to take my kids inside . We are not happy with the way she did and the agreement of working of all staffs in the reception desk .

Great pool for an evening swim after 6:00pm.

Decent facilities and friendly staff at the front desk, we used the indoor learn to swim pool for our 10 month old to have a splash in as our hotel had no pool! The family rooms are a bit cramped and don't have anywhere to out down dry clothing, but aside from that, a good experience.

👍👍 Great gym with lots of new machines and heaps of natural light coming in! I love it! The staff there are all very friendly and provide really good customer service. The owner is always there too, which is very rare these days. He seems to take a lot of pride in his gym and always ensures members are...

🫤 I cannot understand how this place has a 4 star rating. This is the dirtiest, most unorganised gym I've ever worked out in. It's a dark smelly dungeon without a staff member to be seen once you get inside. If you enjoy picking up after other people, working out on dirty equipment and dodging the res...

😐 World Gym Burleigh has the potential to be a great gym. Good array of equipment although some are a little run down and the floor is a little tight on space and gets hell busy at times. However as a long term (5yr) member I have never felt welcome and struggled to get a hello or a smile from staff m...

🫤 Visiting family on the Gold Coast from Toowoomba. Came here today for a casual visit. I assumed that because I have a current membership at World Gym Toowoomba I would be granted free entry or be subjected a small fee. They charged me $20 for a single visit which I thought was excessive. I was reall...

😠 This gym has good equipment and a large space but besides that it’s horrible to train here. People are extremely inconsiderate, they will use multiple machines at once without towels. They do not put their weights back. People are loud and aggressive here, many bikies and other such degenerates. No...
