The food here has been great and the staff are all very friendly and accommodating. We had the steak which was cooked perfectly and the chicken schnitzel which was actually a chicken breast with a nice crumb. The pepper sauce was also really good. The oysters are really nice and fresh, we have had them a few times now. The cocktails are good and well priced.

We had a great night! It was our little grand daughter's 2nd birthday and everyone was so lovely and kind. Both our grand daughters were given balloons (which is enough to make any kid's day!!) The food was delicious with a great menu and all the staff were friendly and caring. Playground was a plus (with a camera so you can keep an eye on your little people!) Only slight downside was that drinks are pricey.

Nice little pub great sports bar and restaurant plus little kids area yummy food good menu.

Had lunch today at the Coomera Tavern - my wife had entree size garlic prawns, which was a very generous serve, and I had the Maroons Burger, which was huge, and very good value for money - and delicious!! It's our 'go to' tavern for great service (thankyou Melissa!!) and great food. Check out the photo of the Burger!!!

Excellent food, steak was cooked to perfection. The staff were very friendly and went the extra mile by moving us to a more quiet table and also giving us sweets with our coffee. The venue was clean tidy and well lit. Awesome experience thank you to the staff

Another wonderful meal last night at the Coomera Tavern. Staff can often make the destination worthwhile and cannot fault the tavern staff , particularly Kim the chef & Sandy & Naomi. Always a pleasure.

I came in with my family last night for dinner, the staff we nice and friendly it was a good atmosphere. Then we ordered dinner and I missed one order, I had no idea what to do, so I went to the counter and explained my mistake, the manager and another member of staff put in an urgent nuggets and chips order for my hungry little man and his dinner was served in under 5 minutes. Thank you so much to the chef and all the staff for your quick resolution, I greatly appreciate it and I will definitely be coming back

Caitlin and the staff here are amazing. The food and staff here are great. I had the Rump steak and it was beautiful and vegetables and mash were worth the drive from Brisbane. I don’t normally leave reviews but this was so good I decided to login and do it !!!

Can’t recommend this place more. Celebrated a family members birthday at Coomera Tavern tonight. Big shout out to Kim, Trent and Ben in the kitchen for the extra attention when it came to the food. All meals were amazing. They really do pay attention to the details. We were so delighted when they brought out the cake and all the staff sang happy birthday along with us. They were busy in there with a full restaurant but Sandy our waitress & managers on duty made the effort to sing along and make our celebration just that bit better. Thank you Coomera Tavern, you guys did a great job tonight, we will definitely be back!

I had the rib fillet and hands down one of the best steaks/ pub feeds I have ever had. I’ve been to trendy steak houses that couldn’t cook a steak half as good as this. Compliments to the chef. You now have a regular customer.

I had the worst experience ever dining at this tavern tonight. The food was fantastic but the appalling customer service just ruined it completely. A woman named Lisa needs to learn how to respect and build the company up not tear it to shreds. Absolutely disgusted !

Service was great , atmosphere was great . Although food was over priced and under tasted . Not to mention under presented . I’ve attached a meal that was worth $60 plus it wasn’t cooked properly , the potato was just slopped up and mush and pretty poorly presented . I walked out feeling hungry and disappointed Our local is hope island tavern . You can get a far better meal . Cooked , presented and value for money there

We went here for lunch with our family. I ordered stuffed mushrooms and buffalo wings. Both were absolutely delicious. Food came out quickly and service was fantastic. All the steaks for the rest of the table were cooked perfectly. Would definitely recommend. A great pub feed.

Disgusting. AVOID. Probably THE worst tavern food I’ve had on the GC (and I’ve been to many). Turned me off chicken schnitzel it was that bad. The service was friendly, but the place inside is so small and you’re literally in eaves dropping distance to hear someone’s conversation with the table seating arrangements. Um no, not feeling the ambience. We ordered the Parmi, Schnitty and two kids meals, the calamari for starters and the garlic bread with cheese and it was around $120 (overcharged). The Parmi had a frozen chip amongst the cooked ones - FAIL. The chicken for both schnitty and Parmi is like a fake processed chicken (as well as the kids chicken nuggets) and looks like it was bought from Coles. The Salad was the most saddest thing I’ve ever seen and tasted disgusting (OLD lettuce leaves 🤢). They got our order wrong and overcharged us, but I politely corrected the order on arrival of the food and they gave me a refund. Honestly THE worst schnitzel I’ve ever tasted probs in my life lol as in bought from a bistro. The food is not made with love and the prices are ridiculous for small little plate of calamari ($16?!) for a handful - rip off. Service is quite good, but the food is not great, don’t recommend at all.

Was there last night for dinner. Extremely friendly staff waiting tables. Prompt service. Better yet was the food. The chef did an amazing job on my rump steak. Makes my list of top 5 steaks I have had! Cooked to perfection (med-rare) and good cut of meat

I have always loved going to the Coomera Tavern. Food is fantastic and the atmosphere WAS friendly and vibrant. I say was... Because last night I took the family in for dinner. No menu, no friendly waiter/waitress. Just scan the Q code on the table number, order your meals and drinks from the digital menu and pay for it. No need to leave the table to even pay for it. Yes, it's convenient, but removes all the friendly atmosphere and I didn't enjoy it one bit. I've been in there in the past with large groups and one of us would pay for it all. What are we suppose to do? Pass the mobile phone around for each person to select what they want? My partner has a disability and has difficulty with comprehension. It's much easier for her to have a real menu that she can view and take her time to select. Sorry, but if this is the future of dining out, then I may as well order uber eats and dine at home.

I had dinner there tonight and usually the customer service is very grim a bit like a graveyard, although there was a new gentleman there his name was Andrew, his customer service was fantastic!!!!! Welcomed us in with a smile, made conversation ( doesn’t normally happen here ) had a laugh and made for a very enjoyable experience. Definitely need more employees like this I hope he gets acknowledged for his great customer service tonight

Firstly, the staff are so friendly and appear genuinely happy which gives this place a great vibe. Then the food. My partner ordered the 400gr rump and it came out perfect. He polished it off saying it was the best steak he’s had in a long time (I cant cook steak) then ate the rest of my pasta. I’m impressed all round

Came in for a beautiful lunch with the family. No faults on any of the food, it was all amazing! Incredible food from Kim and Ben in the kitchen and great vibes from Mel, Tim, Nadyne and Ash in the bistro 10/10!

Dined at the Bistro/Cafe here tonight Ordered the beer battered fish with chips and salad and 2 x salad with added chicken pieces The beer battered fish was actually battered fish pieces that interestingly looked like all identical pieces, just like what you would get straight from a box of frozen pre manufactured fish pieces . "Fish fingers" more like it . The salad served with this fish was very uninteresting ,very very ordinary . The same can be said for the 2 x salad meals with added chicken pieces that my wife and son ordered Very ordinary salads without any flair or much expertise required to put this together This kind of food presented needs no cook or chef expertise in my opinion Cannot recommend this cafe food and wont be returning .

This is the only tavern I recommend to family and friends. Not only because of the great food every visit, but also the flawless customer service received every single time. We are always offered a suitable place to sit with our toddler, as they are usually quite busy but are more than accommodating even with last minute arrivals. We have received service from a lady named ‘Candice’ on near every occasion and is nothing short of a positive experience every time. The atmosphere here between staff and customers is almost like family, refreshing to see.

Food has been awesome every time the family & I have gone. Service is fantastic, atmosphere is great, good play area for the kiddies. Candice is absolutely amazing. She also makes a lovely cocktail. The customer service is great & keeps us coming back again & again

What a hidden gem! Great place to eat! Fabulous menu & really tasty dishes catering for everyone. My favourite is always the roast turkey which the friendly staff will swap the gravy for cranberry sauce! It is so delicious! Love the family atmosphere and everyone is made to feel very comfortable. Thanks Coomera Tavern I love coming to meet up with friends and family here!

2/2/2022. That was a good steak. I was a bit worried about the price of the steak at a Tav'. But it was perfect. Looked small for a Graziers Eye Fillet 200g, but it was deceivingly thick. Staff were lovely. I'll be back.

Came in for dinner tonight and had an amazing experience as always. We got starters to share and everything was delicious- Fish tacos, bread & dips, bacon & cheese garlic bread, BBQ chicken wings and chips- thank you Chef Kimmy! I also have to mention the beautiful Candice, if you’re ever in need of a cocktail she is 100% your girl! She made her new specialty off-menu cocktail that is delectable and dangerous- it tastes like candy, which is incredibly fitting, and is so easy to drink. You should definitely see Candice for her specialty signature cocktail next time you’re in!
