We went here for our anniversary dinner. We ordered the brushetta, gamberi and the mushroom prosciutto pizza. It was delicious and had really nice flavours. The service was awesome and really lovely staff. The atmosphere was lovely and we were seated next to a heater, in a private spot away from children, which made it comfortable on a cold night. For our dessert they put Happy Anniversary around our plate with a sparkler. Really made our night having our dinner here 😊 recommend to anyone for a lovely date night.

Highly recommend booking!!! You will otherwise wait some time for a table or even be turned away. It’s popular every night. Our family (inc two children, aged 4 & 1) enjoyed an early dinner here during the week. Currently they are understaffed and training new people on the floor. Taking that into account, meaning service was a little slower than perhaps you’d hope, we had a lovely early evening. The staff were accommodating and made sure that the children’s meals were ordered quickly and high chairs were available. Garlic bread was authentic (loads of garlic pieces) and the penne and gnocchi were both cooked well and presented well.

Finally we found a restaurant in Gold Coast that cares about their food, service and customers. Alfresco definitely lives up to its rating with their delicious authentic Italian menu. Service was great, even when it was very busy the staff managed to find time to check if everything was ok. Highly recommend if visiting here, it is also family friendly and caters to big groups.

This place seems very popular so book in advance. We had a chicken/prawn dish and a creamy pasta dish (I can not remember the dish names) the chicken was amazing (pictured) however, the cream pasta tasted floury, which was unfortunate. It was like when you make cream based pastas at home and don't cook off the flour to thicken the cream sauce. The service was fast and the meals came out very quickly though. We where seated, served and out in 45 minutes.

Saw this place about a year ago on a very quick trip - finally back! And had to try it. Night 1 was brilliant! Real fresh, delicious food with awesome customer service. Quickly followed by Night 2 with another top experience - so many options to choose from! Highly recommended.

Booked ahead from Melbourne for St. Valentine’s Day. Service was quick, very friendly and the food was amazing! We all had pasta. It was so soft. The sauces did not taste processed like some places do. The mango panacotta which was a special on the menu, was the best panacotta I have ever had. Most panacottas have a great texture, but lack flavour. This one actually tasted like vanilla. It was like eating vanilla bean ice cream. Creamy & intense flavour. They should make this a permanent on the menu. The mango purée was also to die for.

Sensational food. Tasty, authentic and well portioned. We had the bolgnese w/ tortellini and the protein to pasta ratio was simply perfect. Pizza dough was super fresh, crunchy on the outside and soft inside. Friendly staff and great and vibrant feel to the venue. Highly recommend.

Alfresco in Surfers Paradise is a delightful Italian restaurant that's certainly worth a visit. The culinary experience here is truly remarkable. The food boasts authentic Italian flavors that leave a lasting impression on the taste buds. From pasta to pizza, each dish is crafted with precision, and the quality shines through in every bite. The restaurant's selection of imported Italian wines is a definite highlight. The carefully curated wine list enhances the dining experience, perfectly complementing the exquisite dishes. One can't help but appreciate the attentive staff that goes above and beyond to ensure a pleasant evening. Their knowledge of the menu and willingness to provide recommendations enhance the overall dining experience. However, it's important to note that booking a reservation is a must. Even on a seemingly quiet Tuesday night, the restaurant was bustling with patrons, highlighting its popularity. The only minor downside was the need for reservations due to the consistently high demand. This speaks volumes about the establishment's reputation and the quality of its offerings. In conclusion, Alfresco offers a delectable journey through Italian cuisine, elevated by the genuine care of the staff. Whether you're a local or a visitor, this restaurant promises an unforgettable dining experience.

Super friendly staff. The owner? I think that was the owner, super friendly and approachable guy. The food, was fantastic, delicious and very fair priced considering this is Gold Coast. The wait wasn't long either and it was a chill place to sit and relax after a long day at the beach.

This is the best Italian restaurant we've had in Gold Coast. The service was unbeatable, staff were so friendly and attentive. The food is way beyond our expectations and great value for money. Both the pizzas and pastas were delicious and a good portion. Highly recommended if you like Italian food. :)

What a great restaurant! The staff are very friendly. That is the biggest draw. The girls were so helpful and welcoming. Even the seating staff made sure we got a seat. The food is freshly prepared. A lot of Italian Nonna's approve so you can rest assured it will be good food. Every dish is simple and perfect. The restaurant is full 7 days a week and rightfully so. The risotto was succulent and the meatballs juicy. No desserts sadly. The ambience is so good. The other restaurants it are nowhere in this restaurants league. A national favourite.

The best Italian food in Australia. Have been 10+ times and have never had an issue. Great, authentic Italian. Just under the Wyndham hotel. Highly recommend if your on the Gold Coast. You won’t regret.

Surfers Paradise Italian This is an alfresco restaurant in touristy Surfers Paradise and unfortunately we happened to visit during a heat wave so it wasn't a comfortable dining experience. The staff were very friendly and attentive and our meals arrived quite quickly. My husband and I shared a garden salad, lasagne and boscaiola. The food was okay but not remarkable, but it was reasonably priced and BYO wine was a plus.

I would love to give it 6 stars because it was beyond my expectations. Great service and friendly staff. It is worth trying the Creme Carmel. 😍 We had margarita pizza, add some tomato and olives 😋 simple but delicious.

Loved the food. More than that, loved the customer service. It's hard to find such great service in a city that is rushing to accommodate one tourist after another. Fab and Hannah, a great appreciation to your service. Fab was literally fabulous, living up to his name. Thanks guys for letting us in at the last hour and still providing the 5 star service.

I decided to give it a try after reading your review, and it turned out to be an average Italian restaurant with reasonable prices. The food was neither good nor bad, and I couldn't really distinguish the difference between their pizza and frozen supermarket pizza. The creamy pasta was generously sauced, but the tongs they used to serve the pasta weren't properly cleaned.

Excellence food, service and atmosphere. Ordered cheesy garlic bread, x2 meatball fettuccine and a creme caramel. I can’t fault anything. Staff were lovely and those meatballs were fantastic. Will definitely be coming again when we’re down on the Gold Coast.

We dined at Alfrescos in a large group and whilst we had to wait awhile for our table they were pretty decent about allowing us to split the bill. The venue itself is kind of split across two buildings and where we were situated was very dark. I enjoyed the food though, a yummy pink sauce prawn fettuccine pasta for main and some delicious pizza bread for entree. A classic Italian family run restaurant

Been here so many times now, we come all the way from Brisbane to Surfers just for their food. Delicious and fresh ingredients, amazing service, and reasonable prices. I do wish the carbonara was egg not cream but probably to cater to the Aussie taste buds - still yum! Approved by an Italian!

What are the best pizza I’ve ever had. So much going on in such a small pizza but everything worked out perfectly. The service could be better, one of the waitress bumped my head and turned around, however, completely ignored what happened. The pastas were tasty but the fettuccine was a little overcooked in the source wasn’t particularly outstanding. Overall, had a good experience dining here.

Friendly staff and great Italian food. Will go again next time in here! Arrived without a booking midweek bout 6:30pm and was accommodated. Indoor or outdoor seating for those cool summer evenings. Grazie!

The atmosphere of the restaurant was so good and the service was great. The restaurant was really busy when we visited. Maybe that's why the steak is a little more cooked than we ordered. And the garlic bread came out too late. The food was delicious and we could have a good time.😁

Fell in love with this place years ago, it still holds up today as some of the best italian i've had. Food was fresh and tasty. Drinks are nice too. Will be coming back often.

The tiramisu alone deserves 5+ stars. I’m sick of restaurants that boast a homemade tiramisu and it’s disappointing…Alfresco hands down has one of the best tiramisu’s I’ve had in Australia. Queue seemed long when we arrived but the line moved quickly. Restaurant is family friendly and value for money in a place where many restaurants can be overpriced. Delicious sauces and pasta, friendly staff who were more than happy to help and a great place to celebrate a special occasion! Photos do not do the dishes justice. You have to come here and try it yourself
