Second time here, Dine in and absolutely fantastic food. Great staff and customer service. Will be regulars. Kudos to the chefs. Ambience is awesome. We are hooked now. Keep up the great work 👍

Friend has a severe nut allergy and made it very clear to the waiter. One of the entrees had pesto/nuts and she had to be rushed to the emergency department at Robina hospital. She clearly stated she was severely allergic and pesto was NOT written on the menu under the dish. Even if there was pesto it should have been removed and she should have been catered for. Staff and owner were careless and kept saying “there are no nuts in that dish” meanwhile my friend is dying. Bad customer service and disappointed and will not be going again. More care should be taken

Some starter items had odd serving sizes but overall the food and drinks were fantastic! Would definitely dine here again.

Rang and ordered one hour in advance. Hubby turned up right on time yet pizza and entree not even started. Food below average. Pizza base thick and tough. Used to be our go to restaurant as we live nearby. Go to no more. Super disappointed

Just had an awesome and delicious meal at jfk woodfire. The service was very fast, the staff friendly and attentive. The food was delicious and well presented , portions were large , and we left feeling happy and content. I would highly recommend this gem in Burleigh heads. Five star food

Lovely ambience. Staff pleasant. Cold beer. Unfortunately we got very sick from the 'gluten free' pizzas. Poor wife vomited like the girl from the exocist as soon as she got home. We both had terrible joint pain. Clearly cross contamination. Pity as lovely joint. Edit: To the owner, thanks for responding. Putting a gluten free pizza base on wheat flour on the oven floor will certainly make the pizza base not gluten free so using the tray sounds like better practice if someone orders a gluten free pizza as we did. My wife is not a coeliac and neither am I.

New to the area we popped down for some take away pizza… three hours later, several cocktails, then deciding to eat in was the best decision! Best food and people. Loved it.

Great service, hot and fresh delivery and most importantly delicious! Had a large order for a function and Everything was so smooth and easy, everyone enjoyed it so much and all dietary requirements were catered for.

I really wanted to like this place but this was hands down the worst dining experience I have ever had. My steak tasted like fish (obviously spoiled), and the bruschetta was simply a bunch of salad on stale bread. To be fair, the rest of the group had pizzas which they enjoyed. The restaurant team refunded me for the steak and bruschetta, but they weren’t overly apologetic, and looked at my like I was making it up. Actually, I’m not particularly fussy and it was the first meal I have ever turned away in 40 years.

Food is great, have had both the Italian Sausage Pizza and Pork Belly Pizza. Both delicious! My wife has had two pastas and also rates them very highly. Awesome little spot with a great outdoor area. Would 100% recommend!

I fell in love as soon as I walked in the door! Beautiful, soft atmosphere, and the smell of the food cooking hits your soul like a warm hug! The staff are helpful and incredibly friendly. Absolutely delicious food and reasonably priced. We will absolutely be back!! Thank you for a wonderful night!

Your food was absolutely amazing. We ordered the scallops & pork belly, the garlic prawns & for my main, I ordered the Basil, Pesto & Cheese pizza. The garlic prawns melted in my mouth & we ate the whole pot of garlic sauce that the prawns came in. The service was beautiful, thorough & accurate. If there were any issues, you guys made your best efforts to attend to us despite how busy you were (Saturday night). The atmosphere outside was peaceful & there were heaters for the winter weather. My partner & I love exploring new places to eat & I can confidently say, we will be back! Thank you so much :) <3

Beware if you have allergies! Honest review, staff worked off their feet, trying their guts out and great food although we made it clear time and time again that my wife has allergies. First up she orders a steak with red wine due and it comes with mushroom sauce, they then take it back and it comes with no sauce as they have no due, therefore to “compensate” they offer a free beans and we accepted, they come out with nuts (almonds) on them. This was not “traces of, this was sliced almonds and clear lack of care. If my wife didn’t look hard she would be getting an epipen or dead (yes my wife carry’s one although these are not a life saver, they assist only). An “oops” doesn’t cut it but I didn’t make a scene for my family. We then got offer a free moose after having dry steak with no sauce, then try serve my wife nuts, sure a moose with smooth it over…🙄 We ordered two more deserts with this, they come and after 25 mins I ask for the other moose and get it with little apology. I feel for them being short staffed BUT not taking life or death allergy’s seriously and offering a free $12 moose doesn’t add up for me. Take care with allergy’s. Food is good if you don’t have any.

Delicious risotto! Chocolate mousse a bit plain l and not a fan of the cookie crumble on top, but would be back for the risotto.

Had a fantastic night with friends for a Birthday, table of 14 were never left waiting, staff were amazing. Food just kept coming, delicious, hot and all dishes looking great. Table service for bar was promptly served, I had Tiger on tap and it was perfectly cold and fresh. This party was organised as a share menu and all 14 of us left full and happy. Can't ask for more than that. Thank you JFK staff and Go the mighty Sea Eagles.

Stopped in for a dinner that was close to the highway, really pleasantly surprised at this hidden gem. Could possibly be the best gnocchi I've ever had, highly recommended.

Food okay, service absolutely and unbelievably awful. I wish I could vote zero stars - will never ever be going back there and will never recommend it.

Last Saturday night my daughter arranged a surprise 80th birthday party for 60 people for me at JFK, it was an absolute success with numerous comments from guests about the food and service...I was so excited I didn’t really notice the food but I did notice how pretty it was with lights everywhere , plenty of space to mingle, we had our own bar, the service was great and very unobtrusive, I can happily recommend JFK to you for similar functions! Went there for my daughter's birthday, great place, friendly staff and great food. Had pizza with a half and half what a feed even got a take out box for left over so a win win would recommend cheers Pedro

The service was good and the food was great for the most part. Only let down was the pork belly under the scallops was very dry and over cooked. Still would recommend.

I really liked this place. It’s family run. The people are lovely and the service is really sincere. The food is good and I will happily return. This is a great neighborhood place to eat.

Fabulous restaurant, lovely food, great service. Extensive menus & a very good wine-list. Delicious thin-based pizzas straight from the wood-fired oven are hard to beat. Book ahead.
