A girlfriend of mine booked Gemini for dinner last night to attend after a clay workshop at a local retailer. Such a cute little hole in the wall with a very underground vibe. If you’re looking for somewhere quiet - this is not the place for you. A hive of activity with patrons and staff going about their business makes for a buzzing atmosphere. Ordered easily with food coming out quite quickly. Hot fresh and pretty tasty. I had the ravioli bacio minus mushrooms - sauce was quite overpowering and all I could taste was the tomato base. Was able to get a takeaway for leftovers. Had a delightful bottle of 2016 Little William Montepciano. Easily split the bill - was the last table to leave.

I will say this pizza looks absolutely delicious. I was very much looking forward to this pizza on my birthday, unfortunately it did not live up to my expectations. The only thing I enjoyed was the prosciutto. Asked the waiter to make sure my pizza could come out a few minutes earlier so it wouldn’t get burnt. As you can see in the photo the pizza did get a bit crispy. I suppose this would be normal but for me the crust was very dry and burnt underneath and had a burnt taste. I went to Vapiano a few nights later, ordered basically the same thing and it was so much nicer.

We had the pleasure of dining here and the food truly feeds the soul. From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with warm hospitality and a cozy atmosphere. The menu offered a wide range of classic Italian dishes, all made with the freshest ingredients and a true love for the craft. The seafood marinara was one of the best i ever had. It was a delightful combination of fresh prawns, juicy calamari, fish and tender mussels all cooked to perfection in a rich napoli sauce with just the right amount of spice. The seafood was cooked just right, and the sauce had a perfect balance of flavors - not too tangy, not too sweet. But what really set this dish apart was the freshness of the ingredients. You could tell that the seafood was of high quality and the sauce was made with care and attention to detail. The pizza margherita was delicious. The toppings were simple but perfect - fresh tomato sauce, mozzarella cheese, and a sprinkle of basil. It was a perfect balance of flavors, with the sweetness of the tomato sauce and cheese. Each bite was so satisfying. We highly recommend the pistachio creme brulee and tiramisu for dessert, and it was the perfect way to end my meal. The creamy mascarpone filling was perfectly balanced with the coffee-soaked ladyfingers and dusted with cocoa powder. But what truly made this dining experience special was the atmosphere of the restaurant. From the warm lighting to the comfortable seating, everything felt like it was designed to make me feel at home. The staff were attentive and welcoming, making the experience feel like a true escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. Overall, I highly recommend this Italian restaurant to anyone looking for a meal that truly feeds the soul. The food is simply delicious, and the atmosphere is truly something special. I can't wait to come back again and try more of their wonderful dishes.

Gemellini delivers on quality on every level, connecting with their patrons and providing a gastronomic experience that is right up there!!! We’ve been regulars over the past 2 years and every experience is outstanding, never disappointing and exceeds our expectations The Gemellini team is truly brilliant!!!!

This little gem of a restaurant was such a delight to visit and the authentic flavours were outstanding. Every staff member was friendly and had cool accents. Lighnting fast service with a warm and inviting atmosphere. We’ve already booked a table for next week while we are on holidays. Book in here you won’t be disappointed.

My partner and I celebrated our anniversary here on Saturday, the food & atmosphere were amazing. We felt like we were back on holiday in Italy! The only negative thing was to find parking nearby. But that doesn’t take back from the amazing experience we had at Gemellini!

Welcoming and attentive staff, spectacular food and vino. Great range of drinks, and authentic food options. Well priced, considering the quality! 'Twas a little noisy when it the service picked up/place filled, but still very enjoyable experience!

The lamb ragu almost brought me to tears, without a doubt the best I’ve ever tasted. Service was exemplary and the general atmosphere is great. Anyone rating this less than 5 stars is an imbecile.

Staff were friendly. Food was amazing and didn’t take long despite being busy. Booked a table for two and we were sat right next to the door which was freezing when everyone was walking in and out. Very small venue but nice and intimate. Would go back and highly recommend.

I ordered a pizza this evening and was shocked to find a cockroach inside my pizza box. Writing this review now I am still shocked as I have heard so many good things about this restaurant.

Excellent authentic Italian food with great service by Italian and wait staff!

Great little Italian place that was very welcoming to us. We came in with no booking and no expectation to get a table but we asked and they gave us one ( I would definitely book though it was very busy). The waiters were great and very fast to get food out. As for the food it was very good and the pasta was cooked perfectly. I got a lamb ragu and was definitely not disappointed in the slightest, the lamb was falling apart and was so easy to eat. It was also very filling so I expected the ingredients to be of the highest quality. The atmosphere was a little hectic and loud but it was sort of part of the vibe so I get it. Definitely a worth wild meal and would recommend for anyone that's a big fan of Italian cuisine.

The wife and I Chose this place for our 17year anniversary dinner, and boy were we impressed. Happy staff, great vibe, no long wait times for food and last but not least this was the best Italian meal we have had in a long time.absolutely Delicious. Will definitely be back to try the rest of the menu options.

A lovely and cosy restaurant. The staff were really nice and very helpful. The mains were so good. However, the garlic bread was more oily than garlicky. The prices are reasonable for an Italian restaurant. Highly recommended 👌

We just had a beautiful evening at Gemellini, extremely professional and friendly staff and Divine food and wine! Special thank you to Anna the manager on duty for treating us so well and the Chef Diego and all kitchen staff for the amazing food. Pizza was delicious don’t forget to order the dessert! Amazing little Italian restaurant with quality meals. Although I haven’t tried the pasta, the pizza was cooked to perfection and tasted as though it was made with the highest quality ingredients. The staff were kind and very helpful, and the food came quite quickly despite the busyness. Overall brilliant food, service, and atmosphere.

This is our second visit and second review. We were instantly greeted by the friendly and efficient staff. Drinks were organised promptly which is very important to my husband!!! Our meals were absolutely delicious!! If you are a fan of authentic flavours and Italian cooking this place is a little gem. They are quite busy and it is a small restaurant so you need to book. The restaurant dies a lot if take away meals too. The menu offers vegan and vegetarian options. It also has gluten free option for pizza bases that are cooked to perfection in the stone oven! The only tiny hiccough for us was no dairy milk alternative for coffee, but this was really no buggy and the rest of the night over-shone the mark so much.

I was very disappointed with this place You looked in the Google so many good reviews and we went there for a dinner me and my partner We asked for arrancini and 2 pizzas And all with so much oil in the pizza and the special in the arrancini. For the price and for the all reviews I expected a better food with less oil.

Stopped here randomly with my hungry dad on the way back from the airport. I had pizza and my dad had veal. Food was delicious and servings were pretty generous. My dad is an extremely fussy diner but he was impressed. His only complaint was he thought the wine was a bit on the expensive side for what was on offer.

It was amazing. We had the ravioli della casa, tagliatelle ai funghi and a margherita. Everyone loved their food. And the service was great as well. We’ll definitely be back. Can’t recommend enough. Thank you guys!

AMAZING! I went there for dinner to celebrate my birthday and everything was impeccable! The staff is very friendly and they did everything to make sure we’re 100% satisfied with our experience. The food is sooo tasty! I find it very hard to find tasty food like I did at Gemellini, unfortunately most of the restaurants serve dishes basically plain. Thank you, I’m a big fan now!

This is a genuinely fantastic Italian restaurant. We all feel that we are so lucky to experience the venue. The staff are excellent and very knowledgeable, wine list is perfect for the menu, and the food is amazing. Make sure you book, you won’t be disappointed. I feel it is inexpensive for the quality of the food and staff.

Nice spot on the Gold Coast for some good Italian. Vibe was cool and the staff were super accommodating with our number changes & split bill. I tried the funghi pizza & Beef Ragu pasta. Pizza was a solid 9/10 but the pasta was average. IMO too rich & some bits were undercooked of the actual pasta. Ordered a gin cocktail and it was amazing. Thanks team!

Just remember that while not all of your customers may be Uber drivers others like myself are. Good business/services people don't pick and choose who their customers are. While your food is amazing your staff's customer service is disgusting and in my opinion something that should be addressed.

First time here abs booked for a family celebration.. did not disappoint! Pizza - Margherita… my measurement… perfect! Wait staff wonderful… stole some of my husband’s fish… and potato… so good! Great vibe…

We love Gemellini it’s our favourite Italian restaurant we went for dinner again on Saturday night. The place was bustling and the atmosphere was great. The food is always delicious at Gemellini. I had the mussels to start which were so tasty followed by calamari with crunchy walnut salad. It was the best calamari ever! Taste sensation. My husband had the gnocchi which he loved. For desert he ordered gorgeous freshly baked mini donuts with Nutella dipping sauce. The portion was so huge we took a lot home for our children plenty for 3/4 people. Loved the Marcarini red wine. Also the cocktails are delicious. The staff are so friendly attentive and have great knowledge of all the extensive wine on offer. They have gluten free, dairy free and vegan options too. We will go back often to Gemellini.

My partner and I decided to give this restaurant a go for our 2 year anniversary. We were thrilled with our experience! The atmosphere is cozy and intimate. The restaurant is small so I'm glad we made a reservation because it was packed- even on a Sunday night. The service was wonderful- never had to ask for anything, they were on top of it. I'd give their homemade ravioli a million stars! Can't wait to come back again!

The food here is one of the best I've tasted in a long time ! The only niggle I had is that we had a dinner reservation for 4 people at 8:15 and we weren't seated until 8:40. Understandably the restaurant was busy and rightly so ! Just something to keep in mind for future patrons. I will be sure to return ;)

Very nice food, and very very nice service of Anna! Must try the special entree! Seafood pasta is good but if have more seafood will be better. Need booking.
