Best of Asian fusion foods in GC, in my opinion. The taste of the foods we tried was just yummy and presentation was pitch perfect. The ambience was of a hawker market street food. Service was fantastic and staffs were very friendly. Highly recommended.

Sorry to say we won't be back. We have enjoyed previous meals and I was looking forward to the sticky beef. I enjoyed that but the fried rice was the worst we've ever had, the gyozas were stodgy, the chow mean oily and tasteless. Really disappointing

One of my fave Asian fusion plaxea. Super tasty food, and to die for cocktails - highly recommend the two signatures as they are spectacular. Everything is well cooked and comes out in a timely manner, decent prices too. The dessert platter is excellent, perfect for an indecisive person like myself. Definitely a go-to in Broadbeach!

We had two bowls of rice (enough for 3 people) the steamed fish main (fresh cod?), beef entree covered in Cantonese sauce and sesame seeds (spicy), the other photo is of the beef fillet main (tender more on rare side), we also had chicken karaage and 2x pork skewers (sweet) both highly recommended ate too quick hence no photo. Overall 10/10 for atmosphere, food service and for the food. Will go back for sure.

I’m usually not into “Asian fusion” food but this place is not like others. It was our second time here, so we must have tried almost a dozen of their menu - I must admit all of them are amazing. Great taste, generous, fantastic take of Asian street food! Every staff we dealt with was really friendly and helpful if you need them to explain the menu. Booking is highly recommended especially for dinner. They have indoor and outdoor (covered) area, great vibes for dine in. Definitely a favourite!

Recently dined here with my partner to this place off the Gold Coast highway. We didn’t book on this Friday night, but luckily they could fit us in. We ordered a bunch of small plates and mie goreng as a large to share between us. The food was fairly good!! We were happy with all the dish apart from the xiao long bao which had an unusual taste. The staff were friendly and checked on us a couple times during our dining! Would happily visit again the next time I’m on the Gold Coast .

Nice place to eat with an awesome selection of Asian Street food from which to choose. The atmosphere was abuzz with everyone enjoying themselves. The outdoor room at the back was very inviting and comfortable with great visual appeal. The food was a little expensive but very tasty. All up a nice night out to dinner with the family.

There are three certainties in life - death, taxes and Hideaway giving you disappointing experience. It’s hard to write a review because we have had great experiences in the past that have kept us coming back. For what was once a lustrous and indulgent feast (leaving us full and often taking extras home), we have left tonight feeling disappointed and underwhelmed. Service was excellent, however the food was staggered for long periods, in small portions (compared to the portions previously given) and we missed a lot of dishes despite ordering the banquet ‘street feast’. Suffice to say, we won’t be coming back and would suggest to other fan favourites that this isn’t the place it used to be.

Maybe Asian fusion just doesn’t work for me, or it’s because I’m a Taiwanese? The fish is not fresh, and the seasoning not only doesn’t make sense, but didn’t marinate in the fish too. The fry rice is stiff, not well cooked. The fry noodles are too sweet. Fried beef is too salty and too dry to the point it’s jerky liked. Fried chicken and dumplings are ok, but not special. The easiest way to make this place work is to get drunk first and fast, so you don’t know what you are actually eating, then it’s all good.

Delicious shareable plates and yummy drinks! Server was very attentive and prompt. We sat outside in August and there were blankets and heat lamps! Quite comfortable. We really enjoyed this place!

Always enjoy coming to Hideaway. This time we had guests from overseas. I couldn't fault a thing. I wish I had more photos but we were enjoying to food too much to stop and take more! We'll be back!

Honestly hard to fault. Staff were so welcoming from moment we got there. Food was sensational. Was very busy but didn't feel cramped in there. Food comes out ad-hoc as it's ready so gets a bit staggered so you can have a slow trickle of food. Worked for us but sure if you asked they'd accommodate if you had specific requests Would go back again for sure! Was fantastic

Came for my birthday! There were 25 of us. The food is good, but that's it. The manager and owner of the restaurant were not nice at all and didn't do anything to help. The service was really bad; wrong food was brought to our table several times. We told our waitress that it wasn't for us, and no one had ordered those dishes, but we were charged for them regardless. The employees are drinking during service and getting drunk while working. Please don't try to pay your bill in cash, as the staff will steal the money you gave them! And as we all know, cash can disappear easily. It was an AWFUL night; I will NEVER come back. Hideaway Kitchen & Bar CAN'T HANDLE A BIG GROUP booking!!! Honestly, there are 100 restaurants on the Gold Coast; just go elsewhere. You won't miss anything."

Great vibes, would be amazing place for a night out with big crew. The ladies serving were very lovely! Taste, though, wasn't quite there for me as Asian fusion.

Excellent food - a good variety of really tasty dishes. We just had a few of the small share dishes which was such a good way to go for just the two of us. Probably one of the best places we’ve been to as far as offering gluten free dishes - basically everything is gluten free unless the menu specifically says it contains gluten. Very reasonably priced and great atmosphere. Will be going back there again soon.

Our experience wasn't great, maybe we ordered the wrong things. The prawns in jalapeno mayo we had to send back by being virtually un edible due to being way to salty. The nasi goreng is boring with thick chunks of veg that are virtually raw. Noodles where thick and gluggly. Only good thing was the cocktails in my opinion.

The employees are very welcoming and sympathetic, the place is very pretty and cozy and the food is incredibly good (congrats to the cool). It was not the first time and it will not be the last.

I’d give this place a 2.5 stars, it’s value for money sure but not the highest quality... Been here twice, last was around 3 yrs ago & I’m convinced the owner/management has changed. The LED lights make you feel like you’re dining in a food court.. so atmosphere is a no. Last time was brilliant but this weekend wasn’t the same. had the street feast and Some dishes were nice, the crispy prawns, bang bang chicken, bug rolls & beef teriyaki pretty tasty & good. Not outstanding but good. Pad Thai not good at all, butter chicken & Apple spring rolls average. Our waitress was kind but the rest of the service was not good. The staff weren’t friendly Or thanked us for dining there, no smiles etc. I won’t be back but I wish you guys well with a few needed adjustments.

Food was a bit hit and miss, the beef tataki was the stand out dish. The setting and atmosphere outside is great.

We got the banquet where we got more than our bang for our buck. The staff did forget our xiang long bao but we had so much to eat that we couldn’t have finished anyway. The portions sizes are quite generous, pina colada a must have. Highly recommend the beef tataki, beef noodle salad, massaman curry and the fried rice. Peking duck was a bit dry though in my opinion but my partner liked it.

A really fun and good vibe place! Staff are really great and accommodating! Bartender really was interested and took the time to find out what we liked and made us a drink accordingly! Once at the table food came out quickly and was really tasted! Highly recommend this place!
