Casual footpath cafe right on the front at Coolangatta beach. Friendly staff who care. Had the tostee and my wife has bacon and eggs with sourdough bread. The coffee was excellent. Could be a bit hot if your are having a late breakfast in summer but coming into the cooler months will be excellent.

Coffee was perfect, all of our meals were also amazing! Friendly staff that knew the menu well. Nice and cool inside too.

This is a great little street level cafe and restaurant across the road from the beach. We didn't book but they worked it out quickly. The service was excellent. Both polite and fast. The food was great, as was the coffee too. A great place to sit and watch the beach area and enjoy the sea breeze.

Have been frequenting Bellakai when on holidays on the Gold Coast for several years now. This place was one of the first I ever gave a personal 10 out of 10 for their "Bellakai" Benedict and the same is true of the rest of their menu. Bellakai has been consistently excellent for breakfast and lunch no matter what food faith you follow. It's more than highly recommended, it would be a sin not to check it out when you are in the area. Recent experience of further amazing service and wonderful food, thanks Kruze for being a great host, really made our holiday.

Drove down from Mermaid after finding this place on Instagram and was 100% worth the drive, the most amazing staff, accommodating chefs and wonderful location. The food was superb and I literally have no complaints! 10/10 would recommend!!

Drove down from Southport to drop some dosh near the border and saw this lovely alfresco place across the road. Great decision! Sat outside under the umbrellas opposite the beach. The vibe was great hut brunch was fantastic. Build you'd own brekkie is a great idea but everything was brilliantly cooked. Can't wait to go back again.

Sunday morning this place is usually full this morning a bit quite this was my first experience at Bellakai, wait to be seated of my choice good staff with water and took by coffee order while I checked the menu big breakfast. Good coffee and every thing on the plate was a taste sensation this is a high end cafe well done I will go back

Absolutely fantastic restaurant situated across from the beautiful Coolangatta beach. The food is always tasty plentiful and presentation plus! The owner should be extremely proud of her restaurant and staff . A well oiled machine. The chefs are amazing. We were there for breakfast but lunch and dinner is amazing too. Can't wait to return.

Booked for Father’s Day an outside table for x3 adults. With predicted rain the manager organised for seating inside. I have been to many cafés, restaurants and eateries and this establishment is one of the ‘best’ that I have encountered. The service from the manager and staff was so professional. The young Staff were cheerful, helpful and a pleasure to deal with and it wasn’t just with our table. The food was perfect. Good selection for meat and vegan customers. Service/Orders were insanely quick… and ‘no’ mistakes. A big congrats to manager Anna who greeted customers warmly and seemed to have a good handle/management of her Staff. To top it all off, we were given a Father’s Day Gift voucher for our next visit. I have NO qualms about the reasonable cost for the excellent food and service. Well done Bellakai. I will be spreading the good word.

Took the family to breakfast recently on the recommendation of my daughter. The menu was extensive and varied. Anna was very flexible in accommodating us with our food selections. The food was great, with generous portions and it came fairly quickly. We all thoroughly enjoyed the meal. The staff were friendly and helpful and the meals were reasonably priced. BTW the coffee was really good. We will be back.

New Champion! Anna the Owner is awesome. Every staff member is bringing good energy. I can hear and see the ocean . The food was incredible, and the coffee was grand. I got a $15 special that had been on the board menu for two days. I added bacon, because “bacon is life” per owner’s recommendation. Honestly. Best ever.

An absolute gem 💎 Choosing this place for breakfast was one of the best decisions that I have made in a long time. The service and food are incredible. We will be returning again when we visit the area. I would recommend booking a table if you have a bigger group as available tables may be limited, due to how popular this place is.

Best brunch place on the Goldy! We Have been going to BELLAKAI for years now and make sure we take all our friends and extended family here whenever we stay in Coolangatta. The food and portion sizes are awesome and affordable! The service is first class. The staff are jovial and so kind.

Good location right opposite the beach, service was friendly, efficient and polite. Food was quite good, juice fresh and cold. Worth a visit if you’re looking for a reasonable breakfast.

Decent breakfast with a view of the ocean and beach. Halloumi avocado toast was good, eggs perfect, not a huge portion.

After going to Bellakai while staying in Coolangatta on a holiday this is now a must go place every time I visit the area. The staff are always friendly and provide great service. The food is absolutely delicious and the drinks are spot on every time. Could not recommend enough!

Food is quite good. However unfortunately the service let the place down on a quiet Sunday morning we came. Very inattentive wait staff, every table looking around trying to get one of the five waitresses attention who were standing around the cashier. Will suit well if you’ve got all morning to sit

We went there for breakfast, one of the best customer service and good food. The lady who served me was the most friendliest person I have ever met and also the food was so good especially the brekky bun. The ingredients were so fresh !I would definitely come back again. One of the best breakfasts I've had in ages. I had the special which was french toast with fruit and whipped icecream. Beautiful light fluffy toast and a great portion size. Some places bulk up with too much food but this was perfect. Hubby had mushrooms on toast, also great portion size and full of flavour. Throw in great coffee and a spectacular view and you couldn't want for more.
