Stanley's restaurant is excellent, the Rodney and his wife who run the restaurant are always so welcoming and the food is really tasty There is a variety of wonderful menu options to choose from. The staff are always helpful.

Excellent service, great food with a friendly and welcoming atmosphere on arrival and throughout. The view is amazing and the venue is pet friendly; staff and management treated my dog very well. It was a Sunday and it is best to book beforehand as it can get very busy on the deck.

We had dinner there recently. The restaurant is well worth visiting, service was friendly and efficient, the food was outstanding and the portions were very generous, of course the view is amazing. The line fish was Kob and it was perfectly cooked, but their Calamari is the best around, both were delicious.

Chris is second generation owner carrying on a great legacy. I don't think anyone local need much of an introduction to the restaurant, so this review is mainly for visitors' reference. On many tourism websites they talked about why you should have a Sunday lunch at Stanley's and today that's what I am focusing. Sunday lunch starts at 1pm, but people arrive up to an hour earlier for drinks. First you'll have a choice of soups, and then everyone has the same roast meat entree, and then a choice of desserts and a cup of coffee. In all everything taste good, the value is there, and on a good day the view is spectacular. The only star lost in my opinion is that the lunch remains the same all the time - if there's some slight rotation of the main entree I would definitely visit more.

Greta local spot, serves Sunday roasts. Great wine list, and decent bar options. Highly recommended, and will be back again. Recommend booking a table for Sunday roast. Ideally outside on the deck, with the view. Bring a few friends, you’ll have a great time 🤘🏼

A must visit when in the area. The feeling of colonial frontier atmosphere is prevalent with locals filling the pub and scenic setting at tables outside.

Lovely quiet setting with beautiful views

Great view, lovely food and personalised customer service. The view is one of the best views around - it's on top of the valley which the kariega river runs through and there is a large balcony for patrons to sit on and enjoy the scenery. I had the chilli chicken burger and was glad that it had lots of flavour and sauce. My wife and grandma also enjoyed thier food too and the staff were very accommodating and helpful with my elderly grandma. If you are in Bushman's or Kenton, this is the best place around. I regret not having the seafood though as it looked even better than my burger...

Great hideaway near Kenton on Sea on the Grahamstown road about 5km out of town. Great views of the Kariega River snaking its, way to the sea. Favorite stop off for touring bikers too. Great atmosphere. Has everything from a great bar to dining, with good service. We just came for coffee. First time there but not the last time.

Sunday lunch: Salad is vanilla Greek variety and the main course is very old school, but the pudding… oh.my.word.

Never disappointed. Amazing food. Beautiful view. Wonderful service. Not to mention the precious resident pooches. Beautiful friendly hounds.
