Hands down, probably my best hostel experience so far (been to >50 hostels before)! Truly, everything was great. The building is gorgeous, the location with the view of the Alhambra spectacular. There is a pool and nice common areas, a well equipped kitchen. There is a great breakfast buffet and if anything is gone, the hosts are glad to refill it. Lu and Fernando were very helpful with any request (breakfast refill, iron...) and you could easily see that they really care about this place. The love is found in every detail of service and interior. For the summer heat, there is AC in the rooms and the beds and lockers were also really good. There is really not a bad word I can say. It was an amazing stay from the beginning to the end.

Exceptional hostel, this place is gorgeous and super clean! Stayed for 4 nights in private room (located in building across the alley), bed was extremely comfortable! Hosts pay great attention to detail and very friendly. Separate kitchen if you are staying in private rooms as an option. Lots of areas to hangout and meet people, welcoming and social enviroment.

Coziest hostel I have ever been! Crazy nice and helpful staff, gave us awesome recommendations around the city, local places which enabled us to have a great vacation. Views are great from the rooms, the service is good. As well, many hanging out areas, games, music, drinks and good vibes. However working on this place definitely planned and took care of every little detail. Met great people there as well. Definitely gonna go again

Highly recommended this hostel in Granada. 1. Reception is friendly and helpful.2. Location is near to the old town, it’s better to ask for a taxi if you have suitcase coz some road was made by stone and it’s not easy to walk with suitcases ex the size is bigger than cabin bag. 3. Very clean and the bed is comfortable 4. They have cozy room to relax and outdoor area for chatting and make friends, also what’s app group, you will not be alone. 5. Shared kitchen with clean area. 6. Overall, it’s good to stay with comfortable if you have limited budget for your trip.

Extremely beautiful hostel with friendly and helpful staff, multiple kitchens, they even stock vegan milk in the fridges! Only 2 drawbacks from my perspective: 1) the hostel is located on a hill and most approaches involve stairs, so heavy luggage or bikes will make getting there a pain, and 2) tall people (I am over 185cm) will have to be quite careful with doors, passages and stairwells.

Very comfortable bed, artistic decoration, nice staff, cute dogs and gathering…This hostel is magical and makes people feel home immediately. I met awesome people here meanwhile being able to find a place to chill myself. Thanks for the warm reception and will come back definitely!

The Oripando is the best hostel I've been so far. Not only because of the great location, the lovely decoration or the pool, but because you feel home when you're there. The staff and owner were just perfect and way more than what you can expect from an hostel. Always friendly, , smiling, available for anything you need with respect. There is an atmosphere and a connexion that make you feel comfortable and the 2 lovely dogs help in this well-being. And obviously the rooms are really clean. I definitely recommand that place that I would describe more like a second home than an hostel.

I can only write in superlatives about Oripando. Best location, best host (Fernando must be the greatest hostel owner ever), great evenings in the patio, good beer, nice conversations, and a regular Dani, who is the best fellow guest that you can encounter in a hostel. Bed is comfortable, everything is super clean, good coffee for breakfast, what more can you wish for?

It was more than perfect. It's the best hostel I've ever stayed in. The atmosphere is kind of unique, you meet a ton of interesting people, everyone here is easy going, friendly and has a story to share. The place is clean, super well located and decorated and the hostel team is very accomodating and helpful with everything you need. If you are looking for a real hostel experience that feels like home just go for Oripando, it's not even comparable to any other hostel I've stayed in my life

Really great hostel. The employees are very accommodating, helpful and kind. The beds are more or less comfortable, and the showers work well. The lockers are large and secure. You don’t have to pay for a towel and can get extra if you need. The employees provide suggestions and make the check in and out process very easy. I would recommend!

My favorite hostel in Spain. The rooms and nice, the layout and common areas are great. On top of that the staff truly cares and sets up events and the location is great. Good for solo travelers too!

One of the homiest hostels I’ve ever stayed in. The vibe was excellent for meeting other travellers and the included breakfast was delicious. The owner’s dogs were also a highlight. Made a lot of great memories in our 3 nights here!

This is one of the best hostel I stayed in Europe! If you ever want to experience what those Spanish houses on hill are like, this is the place! The staffs are extra friendly. Atmosphere is pure Spanish style. Check out the pictures. I love their cozy living rooms throughout the floors. They even have a small swimming pool! Shower was great too. Great water pressure and plenty of hot water. I stayed in the 4 bed ladies quarter with full bathroom. Nice! I highly recommend this place when you come to Granada. 10 to 20 minutes walking distances to all major sights. 20 minutes to Granada train station, 20 minutes to La Alhambra, 10 minutes to the Main tourist Street, 10 minutes to Sacramento cave pubs for flamenco dances.

Awesome experience. Very “homey” hostel with a nice pool. Laidback staff. The room on the bottom floor was very hot in late May and the bunks were not the most comfortable, but the staff seemed to be making improvements to the room in general.

This was my first hostel stay ever. The people and staff were great. The hostel is clean. I had a private room which was as good as any 4 star hotel but the younger ones stayed in the common rooms and loved it.

The one and only place to stay in Granada. The b est hostel I have ever been to. Fernando and his team are superfriendly. I felt like staying at friend’s house. Very nice outside chillout zone with a pool. Clean rooms and comfy beds. And if You get a private room in the building across tiny street You get a terrace with a view on Alhambra and the mountains. Priceless! And great location in the Albaicin area. Thank You guys:) Oripando was a highlight! 10/10

We stayed in (one of) the private room. Room is totally fine, rest of the hostel is even nicer. Lots of cozy corners to take a break, really good classic Spanish breakfast (tostadas), even a pool if the heat gets to your head. Seemed like a very good place to socialize also, but it was totally possible for us to hide from those activities (: if you are a light and early sleeper you might have some complaints though, I think it was totally fine. Excellent price for a great stay. Oh and the reception girls were super nice, can't forget about that. Location is great, but for those that don't know, the albayzin part of Granada is mostly walking only. Absolutely worth it though!

Amazing hostel with great owners and staff that will make you feel at home instantly. Best-equipped kitchen I've seen in 6 years of staying in hostels, as well as multiple common areas both inside and outside (with great views of the mountains and the Alhambra). Location is unbeatable. Rooms are very comfy and the attention to detail shows in every aspect of the hostel :) Always a good vibe going on in the common spaces.

Awesome hostel Highly recommended Beautiful, cozy, pool in the backyard, very inviting. Different spots to chill for yourself or to get know people. Rooftop with an amazing view and spacious too. The vibe of this hostel is very inviting, you will see yourself hanging around with travelers and staff. Staff was very helpful and kind. Price was fair and i will come again for sure Highly recommended

The hostel is amazing and I would recommend it to anyone. The first thing that stands out is its design - if you really want to feel the history of Andalusia with its Arabic heritage, it is the right place. We loved the patio and also the roof in the second building with a lovely view. The service was very kind and helpful in every way. Fernando, the owner, is very flexible and easy to communicate with. It is a great place to stay if you visit Granada, not only in the summer (we went there in November). The location is great - close to the city centre and Alhambra as well.

The real hostel experience! Not just a bed to sleep in at night, this hostel is a pleasure to be in. The shared livingroom downstairs filled with interesting and diverse people was one of the highlights of my journey. The decorations are so beautiful, you can feel that this place has a soul, an identity. Also, the breakfast is free and pretty good for a free one. On the roof top you can see the sunset, in the courtyard tou have a pool, all this for just 20 euros/night! The staff is chill and helpful, the beds are comfy enough and there are plenty bathrooms.

I randomly found it, but it was the best hostel I could ever sleep in! The owner are super nice and kind, the hostel is really clean and pleasant and the vibe of living there is chill and relaxing. It was nice to find always people in the little garden, in a very intimate and calming atmosphere, to chat a bit before going to sleep. Highly recommended, maybe the best hostel I've been to. :)

The only reason why i ended up staying longer in Granada was because of this hostel and the people. I had the greatest time, its location is perfect, the rooms are cute with different themes and clean, the owners are wonderful including Nemo and Spike, we had several family style dinner nights and/or everyone going out to grab drinks together. It has such a chill relaxed setting, good wifi and breakfast. Worth the price. I liked learning of the history of the house and seeing all the unique Spanish tiles. I was happy to take some of the new guests out to live music cafes and bars to get vermouth. I appreciate that it wasn't a party hostel but more of a cozy friendly guesthouse.

As good as everyone says. Homely vibe, great communal spaces with beautiful decorations, and met other friendly guests. Very reasonable price!! Having the pool there was such a bonus in the August heat. All bathroom and kitchen areas were very clean and well-maintained. Located in the old town. Adorable little dog called Spike lives here too.

Truly a unique and fantastic stay. A relaxing escape in a residential location with breathtaking terrace views of Alhambra. Incredible hospitality & accommodations from staff: welcoming, helpful and sincere. Small, cozy community culture. Creatively & colorfully decorated with local art & floor pillows. Lots of games to play to stay busy & social. An adorable dog & cat. I would recommend both the shared rooms & the private apartments. Well worth the visit! Thank you 🌞

The owners deserve credit for this totally renovated hostel with very good taste and keeping the cultural and historical spirit of this area. Very well organised and everything is well designed. All the staff are welcoming, friendly and efficient. Very clean. The location is perfect, in a nice pedestrian neighbourhood giving direct access to the town centre or to a beautiful view place for sunsets as well as to the famous Alhambra historical site. Highly recommandé.

A 10/10 for sure - what a beautiful and outstanding place the Oripando is! Loved, loved, loved staying with you and highly recommend to go there. Stayed for a week instead of 3 nights - it says it all. Perfect location, great house itself, lovely and very caring owner and staff, warm, welcoming and inspirational atmosphere. Thank you for having me and keep it up, guys! It was a true pleasure. Felt so comfortable and happy at Oripando, one of the very best hostels I ever stayed in. Say hello to Nemo and Spikey Spike and take care everyone 💚

I wish I could give them 10 stars! I loved my stay at oripando! Amazing people, great location, cosy interior and really clean! The vibe is great! Managers and people who work at Oripando really do it from their heart, and it’s clear they want to make a community, not only a place to stay for one night! They also give great advice on what to do, and how to spend your time best at Granada. Fernando organises via ferata and hiking trips near Granada which I totally recommend if you are into nature! Ask him if you are interested. I loved my stay at Oripando and want to come back, thank you guys!

This hostel is absolutely amazing and I will surely come back next time I’m in Granada. Very affordable and cosy, plus the Riad style building is stunning. There was a very nice atmosphere, and various hang out spots. The location is a bit tricky to get to but definitely worth the walk, its located in a beautiful part of the city, with a bunch of shops and restaurants very near by. However, the best part of my experience was the hostel’s staff, they were super friendly and helpful, and you can see they care about their guests. If you come to Granada, and want to stay at a beautiful laidback hostel with a lot to offer, this is definitely the place.

I can highly recommend this unique hostel. The typical Granada house (Carmen) is located on a hill in the beautiful old and labyrinthine district of Albaicin, which is also a sight in itself. The lovely owners create a family atmosphere, which is why you feel welcome right away - and "Nemo" the hostel's cat keeps things in order with his critical patrols ;-). The rooms are simply and functionally furnished. There is also a living room and two terraces, which invite you to relax and meet other guests. The house and the rooms are clean. The perfect place for easy-going and open-minded people from all over the world.

You don’t feel at hostel here at all, feels like you are a guest of Fernando. The rooftop, the patio, the breakfast, the dog, the cat and most importantly super friendly people :) 10/10

Exceptionally beautiful hostel! The operators are incredibly nice and helpful. The hostel has great facilities and the location is also very good. After the first two days, I extended to 9 days because I liked it so much. The operators are very enthusiastic, treat this place with respect, you won't find such a place again so soon!
